I had to take a day off to deliver my 1935 Chevrolet water pump, then had to race there on a later day at lunch to pick it up. It requires packings, then a jam nut compresses them to seal. They omitted the packings, did not install them. Yeah it was warrantied but I can't miss work or get stressed during a lunch break trying to return it and pick it up. I learned to do it myself. I will not go back.
They have rebuilt carburetors and alternators for me, I pay a mechanic to install them only to discover that they did a bad job. Now I have to pay mechanic to remove and rebuild. They did not honor their poor workmanship, instead they argued that they didn't rebuild the parts. My friends also have dealt with the same problem. I'm taking my business somewhere else.
Go to place whenever we need something rebuilt! Family owned business with outstanding service and quick turn around times! Prices are more than fair. Recommend to anyone who needs them. Won’t find a better deal or better service
I’ve been coming here for many years. These folks provide the best customer service. They are honest and hard working not to mention very passionate about what they do. It’s a family business that I respect and will be back in the near future.
The people working there were very polite and helpful and above all very cheap prices, I will recommend this place to anyone who's looking for starters,alternators or some other stuff that needs to be rebuilded
They have very bad service. They don't know what they are doing. I took a power steering pump to take it apart to get the parts chrome plated. They called me a day later and said the the pump was no good and it would be 80.00 to rebuild it. I told them that there was nothing wrong with the pump I just wanted it taken apart to get the tank and the pulley chrome plated. They had already taken it apart. So I said ok I got the parts chromed and i told them to call me when it was ready 3 days plast and they never call I had to call them and it was ready and when I got it the pulley was not on they said the guy could not put it on. They charge 80.00 and it was not complete. I will never go back there again. The place is a rip off.
A great shop to rebuild your engine suspension or electrical car/truck parts here. Have been coming here since the 1980s. They do have some hard to find electrical parts and a good deal on rebuilt batteries. On Saturdays they close at 12 noon.
Pinche vieja culera mamona!! She changed her story when I asked if they accept card. She initially said first if it’s over $20, then LITERALLY 5 seconds later she says over $25.
The old lady called me a liar and didn't want to return my money cause she thought I had used the auto part I bought won't be going back after the attitude I got from her
They didn't rebuilt it right the first time went back ask them if they can fix it then they come back with attitude and parts missing you should think highly of them now need to find a new place when were the employee doesn't give attitude to the customer
A great spot in East LA that can rebuild just about any part that your car needs. Alternators, starters, steering racks, axles, fuel pumps, master cylinders, water pumps, rotors, gear boxes, flywheels, plus more....... I go to these guys for all my early water-cooled vw's.
