Definitely recommend this spot....
Car needed a new battery, we took it to Abe's -- dude was awesome, a real old-timer type, and we were in/out of there in less than 1/2 hr. Price very reasonable, probably saved us a good $500 from doing it at the dealership. He said they just added new services too, like tires.
Didnt want to honor the 1 yr warranty on my battery although I was well within the time period. Tried to tell me I was lying about when I bought the battery and was rude, demanding a reciept. Stay away from this place! There are better business locally. Try super star batteries better.
I forgot his name but the guy that helped was great. He was very informative about my battery issue and was kind. I would definitely send everyone I know to this shop.
The owner was very kind and helped me through a weekend bind, even waiting a few minutes past closing time. Tested my existing battery and charging system and quickly and professionally installed new battery. Wishing him much ongoing success.
Honest, friendly, competent, answers your questions, great price, fast service. Has been in the area for decades and has knowledge of trusted mechanics in the broader area if specialized work is needed. Highly recommend. Aaron (hope I have the spelling right) is a really great guy.
Went in to buy a tire he patched mine up which was all it needed and saved me some cash plus him being open on easter and not price gauging because it was a holiday was awesome
Good place. He helped us with installation and lent us his tools. Also he helped us with our radiator and gave us advice on that. ya I dont wanna come back cause that means my batteries bad but it was cool!
Came back because of issues with a previous battery I had purchased here, it was replaced on the spot no questions ask. This is what I call great customer service. Most definitely be coming back when I need another car battery.
Dude was clueless. Couldn't tell me what batteries cost. Didn't know what a deep cycle battery was. Argued with the guy in front of me for like 20 minutes over something totally petty. Seriously, you can't tell me what a specific battery costs? Not exaggerating.
Best place to buy a battery specially after my car was stolen and returned with useless battery. Homie went out of his way to help out get the right battery even tested it made sure all was well.
Awesome service! My man, Rudy is the kindest, most helpful person I've met in a long time. His batteries are top notch and if you're a Lincoln Heights/Chinatown local, I highly recommend this establishment's services. You won't go rwong! Their prices are inexpensive so like I said, you need take that chance, you won't be disappointed.
