Came all the way from Inglewood, as they have it marked as open on Sundays 9:30-12:00 yet I arrived at 10:00 and it's closed. Suggested an edit to Google already, hopefully no one else gets they're time wasted.
Great service and employees... and I didn't have to wait like other companies,for a next day pick up.
They had the item that I needed there in the store.
I only put one star so I can leave a review this place is not recommended this is the second time I buy a part and it came out defective one was a spark plug the second one was AC compressor the owner did not want to give me a full refund after having to pay my mechanic $600 to take out the old one and put in the one that's defected I took the car with the part in so he could check it out and he still did not agree on giving me my full refund I had paid $388 and I was returned $288 I am now going to the better Business bureau.
This is not okay$700 down the drain.
DO NOT COME HERE FOR EXPENSIVE PARTS. THEY DO NOT GIVE YOUR MONEY BACK FOR DEFECTIVE PARTS. I WAS WARNED. AND DID NOT LISTEN TILL I LOST MONEY. NOW I DONT HAVE A CAR TO GO TO WORK NEXT WEEK AND HAD TO TAKE A DAY OFF. THEY ARE NICE AND FRIENDLY TILL THEY MAKE BAD BUSINESS...
Great auto parts store. Fast and Quick order fulfillment. Awesome group of people works in this establishment. Highly recommend this place for DIYers like me. Competitive prices for rates compared to big chained auto parts store. Come and check them out. Parking lot provided for customers.

Have your receipt for your warranty. Their so tough to use a warranty that they offer. It's awful going through the warranty with them from the start of even finding out how to replace with the current warranty they wouldn't want to explain it to me.
Went in to look for a used battery -- younger Latino guy was extremely friendly, but the older Armenian customer service was bad, tried to force me to take a battery that was not the correct size and then got irritated that I did not want to take it. Not a great experience.
TURN AROUND NOW DO NOT buy anything from these people saving a couple bucks or so is not worthy very inconvenient with removing the defective junk parts especially if you only have one car your stuck not able to go to work etc. They are very rude and very disrespectful, they will hung while you are still talking they will gang out on you and tried to intimidate you if you are a woman. WORST PLACE EVER if you don't believe me go ahead and return something see it for yourself.
May 2018 I purchased a radiator I was told it was brand new to make long story short the radiator cap was not compatible after months of replacing caps and refilling coolants I decided it's enought for the headache.
October 2018 I asked to exchanged for another one due to their product was defective, they will try to blame you first or your mechanics, make up some excuses to avoid return or exchange. To make long story short they agreed but I was told that it will be more expensive because its a better quality.
So I had to pay more for the exchanged and my mechanic again just to removed their junk parts and replaced, after a week of driving I noticed something was leaking to make long story short again we found out the small part that connects from radiator to transmission oil was leaking " axel transmission connections" won't tightning up so I told my mechanic to removed it and I took it back to Tri star Oh! Let me tell you I was accused of breaking it or my mechanic did not know what he was doing and I was told to put a thread or some kinda tape, I said just give another parts so I can replace it still under warranty I was pretty much told they can't do it they were pointing fingers at each other "like"ask him or ask the owner. I end up taking video with the whole thing which I will use to complain at BBB, they were screaming I was told I talked too much it was pretty bad BELIEVE me.
BAD EXPERIENCE. DO NOT SUPPORT!. EXTREMELY RUDE!
Extremely rude and impatient customer service, they also have 0 car knowledge. If I'm telling you my car is a 6 cylinder it's because I know it's a 6 cylinder. I'm not a certified mechanic but I'm not a idiot either. I didn't even make it into the store. This was just over the phone but not I won't even give them a chance.
Solid independent parts store in Little Armenia (east Hollywood area). Assisted me with purchasing GL-4 type gear oil for my 240sx. Pleasant visit, staff was friendly and more than helpful. Thanks Tri-star team, you guys are clutch for sure!
I cannot recommend these guys highly enough. No-nonsense, handshake kinda guys, they were able to help me out with more professionalism than a dealership at a lower price. Tristar auto parts is the best!
Absolutely over the top reviews. Parts are more expensive than other places close to double. You can't return unused part unless they charge you 20% restocking fee. They are nothing but a regular car parts place where they got so busy their greed became limitless
Excellent place for deep discounts on auto parts its a little hidden but worth the digging Arthur has taken care of my families auto parts needs for over 3 years now :)
