They are thieves they stole my 1954 pick up truck from Circa la then said it was 15k to get back it was stored without my permission then I said I’ll pay it they said it was to late

I was trying to get a price on the tow and the employee hung up on me once. I called back , and they put me on hold, in the second employee asked me , what did I need? I told him I needed a tow, and they hung up in my face again. Smh Just plain bad service... If you're busy , you can tell me to call back later. Not hang up in my face

Don't. Trust this company. They leave you waiting for hours just to show up and leave you sitting there. No reason. No excuse. And they did this after knowing I waited hours for them and that I am dehydrated and alone on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. These people do not care about you. All they want is your money. What kind of person would leave somebody on the side of the road after waiting that long for them.

If you have AAA in downtown, Burbank don't use your AAA call. Got picked up after an accident, I was full of adrenaline and scared and nervous. I was convinced by two United towing people to take it to a lot nearby instead of my house. I was not told how much it would cost and when I asked multiple times I was told my insurance was cover it even though I replied multiple times that I only have liability. Nobody told me it was $150 a day. From Saturday night to Monday afternoon it was $450. I had to take a bus to the lot, was told I had to do a 3% service fee if I used a card and was given zero other option. Training for dealing with people in some very vulnerable moments would probably be very useful. It would probably help your three-star rating as well. AAA is great and most people would give them five stars but I don't appreciate them contracting out three star towing companies.

One time they didn't even show up the second time he wouldn't tow my truck because he said it was loaded it only had two sawhorses in the back this is the worst experience they were referred by AAA I feel bad for AAA they were totally concerned about me getting my truck to its destination and these people could give a shit

This business is terrifying and disgusting. Really makes you feel like you're dealing with the underbelly of LA. If you have to deal with them or have your car towed by them, I recommend having legal support on hand and ready just in case, because this place WILL try to keep your car so they can sell it off. It took the intensive and persistent assistance of a close friend and a family member to get any sort of traction that would help me get my car in a streamlined manner. Owners/staff are rude and straight up bizarre, especially to women. Having your car held by them feels like trying to convince the mafia to let you have it back. Be aware of long wait times, unanswered calls, stalling to have you rack up extra days' worth of fees, to the point that you may not be able to pay it to get it out at all.

A friend of mine was ignored and harassed while trying to stop Richard from towing our car from a hotel. He was rude and confrontational when we asked HOW he was unable to unlock our doors and get into our car to go thru our stuff and never answered how he was able to do so. " We have our ways" was his only reply. When picking up our car about 20 minutes later he charged us $160 more than posted, even though he never stored the car, we showed up the moment he backed into the garage and he would not unhook it until we paid the fee.

Bought 2 cars at united tow and would recommend them to anyone who knows what a great car deal is! They were 100% w/me. Sincerely Bruce Nelson

Vehicle was towed here. Went to pick it up. No one is in the office. Was told to call one hour ahead which i did. Went to office & no one is there to help only a tow truck driver who can't release the car. Been here since 9am. Said we have to wait for manager who won't be in until 11am. This is worst customer service. Located in the worst place possible. All the homeless people are walking around. Not a safe place for your car let alone yourself.

Told to come pick up a car on the weekend after initially being given misleading information over the phone for what documents I need to pick up my friend's car. Got slammed with a surprise "after hour" charge for coming in on the weekend on top of being charged extra for the extra night of storage (that only happened because they gave false information. Won't let the customer see the car before signing that they "caused no damage to it". The perfect storm of rude, unhelpful, and predatory?

After my car was stolen, contracting covid, living over 50 miles away and being unable to come to surrender my vehicle, they still want over $3,000, which I cannot pay. This place is a trap to anyone with low income. I hate this place. I wish I could give zero stars. There's no compassion or professionalism.

Wish I could give 0 stars, such terrible service! The Burbank chapter sent a guy out who did not listen to me when I tried to explain my issues. He said he would have then send someone else out as they needed a different truck and they never did. I was waiting over 5 hours and received no help had to call a whole different service which was cheaper and way better! Shoutout to Fast Lift Towing for being amazing after I had such a bad experience with United!

This is the biggest scam ever. You come in to take your car they make you pay and then tell you you need to wait until one of the driver comes so they can get your car out. They make you wait for hours. How is this a service when they even more about it and tell you the law allows for one hour. Then when you ask for any legal document that shows this then they tell you oh it is not really a rule but that's what the police will telly ok of you call and complain. Really?

AAA trusts this place & so do I. If you have an Exotic or Luxury car it’s in good hands. After nearly 2 decades I have used this service for each of my cars via AAA. They are always extremely punctual and always extremely friendly. Usually when you need a tow for any reason you are not in a good mood so don’t forget to leave a review when something actually goes right that day. Towing services are almost always overlooked.. ! Most professional towing service I’ve ever used. When the man (Roni) arrived at my home there was a distinct difference between his appearance and the typical appearance of a tow truck driver, he was clean and he took pride in his appearance. He was also strong, friendly and thoughtful and knew his job well. I was totally satisfied with the job he did… As a matter fact, he is perfect!!!

Love that they are so close to our business. We have a huge problem with people parking in our private lot. United has been a breeze to work with. They are very accommodating and their customer service is stellar (thanks Kevin!). The staff was knowledgeable when I called to set up a towing contract and they make the process as streamlined as possible.

The man at the front was extremely rude and horrible! He wouldn’t even give me his name to write a review. My car was wrongfully towed and when the apartments called to tell them that he wanted the man to come and show his face and business card! I left my credit cards at home and did not have enough on my debit card to pay, so they would not release my car for 4 hours even though my husband could pay over the phone! He was not sympathetic And would not help at even yelled at my 9 year old son who was crying. I finally had to call a police officer to come and get my car. The man that got my car and towed it was very nice and offered to get things out of my car for my son, but the man at the front desk was so mean! They even damaged my car as well! Very upset with the whole situation and company! Do not use then!

Stranded outside with my doors locked and keys stuck inside and Luis provided me with 10/10 service sending a service truck in less than 15 minutes to rescue my night and unlock the doors —the price was more than reasonable and appreciated granted I called at 12:30AM on a Wednesday night and I explained I wasn’t from the area and needed to hit the freeway to get ready for a long day of work the following day, and Luis made sure to send help promptly! Did I mention he was friendly and courteous on the phone.. great work and business highly recommend speaking to Luis life saver!

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! My Hyundai sonata is sitting at my garage as it won't start even after my many attempts to jump up the battery. It has to be towed to a service center. Researched and mildly relieved by the number of stars United Carrier had, I called them yesterday to make an appointment 1 hour prior that of the Hyundai Dealershop. I waited for 20 minutes before calling them, only to be lied at my face! Kevin claimed that someone called earlier to cancel the service, someone named 'Jenna Kim'. ha ha ha....I cannot believe this! I couldn't hear any apology, moreover, he blamed me to support his lie. I had to postpone the repair service and find another towing company. Never ever use this United Carrier Towing.

My car battery was dead around 3:30. I was so nervous and standing middle of the road. No one stopped by me and than I found this tow company. Mr. Luce helped out and he also offered me very good deal. Thank you so much for your help.

Top notch, highly trained and extremely experienced tow truck operators. I use these folks often to transport my rare and custom vehicles. Prices are even better. They'll work with you to make sure you get taken care of, tire changes, jump starts. I even locked my keys in my car and they opened it up. Great bunch of people.

Called at 430 in the morning my estimated time of arrival was "522 am" called the dispatch station directly dispatch was rude update me on the time of arrival was going to be no later than 540am over an hour from the time I called for services a simple lock out that's all I needed united carrier is the united carrier is the main station for my area and every time I call there's a delay or high call volume according to them and there rude dispatcher does help with his attitude he refused to give me his name but I was able to get a hold of his name. TANGO was very rude didn't want to give me the drivers location. I live 15 tops from there yard yet they are giving me over an hour eta it's called emergency road side assistant for a reason

My beautiful Mercedes was in an accident recently, and Mike of United Carrier Towing Service was extremely helpful in answering many questions, clearly displaying his knowledge of California law and insurance regulations. I would add that Ms. Perez, another representative of United, answered my initial calls and was professional and helpful under my stressful circumstances. I realize many people are simply unhappy that following an accident towing and storage is required, but at this point, I believe this organization performed in a professional and compassionate manner. In addition, they are available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.

I called AAA for a tow in my 1961 Lincoln for a flatbed specifically. I have towed this car easily 20 times on flatbeds since owning it the past 15 years in various states of restoration. They arrived promptly, and my vehicle was lowered because I have air suspension due to the vehicles length. I had lowered the front end of the car hoping fuel was not getting to the fuel pump due to the parking lot. When the tow truck driver arrived (long hair latino mail, tall), he looked at my vehicle briefly, asked me if it would start, and I told him it was having a fuel vapor lock issue. He walked away without a response and got on dispatch. I was raising the car to prepare to winch it onto the flat-bad as I have MANY time before. He approached and said "Because your car has modified suspension you will need to call AAA commercial services." Huh? Never have I EVER been told this after 12 years as a AAA member. I told him that the car lifts up beyond stock height and actually lifted the front via remote control keyfob. He continued to walk away and eventually drove away just saying "Call AAA I cannot help you!" He drove halfway down the block and proceeded to take the next call, presumably the easier call? What a CROCK this company is. He didn't want to deal with a classic car and loading it up on his flatbed, so he just said he couldn't do it for some non-existent reason. AAA told me that it would be investigating it. This long haired prick needs a serious lesson in customer service and should be fired for his laziness and behavior.

These guys saved my life. My tire blew out in the middle of the freeway and luckily I was able to get to the side safely. Well when I went into the trunk to get the spare I realized that it didn't have any air in it. I called United Carrier Towing Service and they were very quick to respond. They took care of everything for me and I am grateful.

I have no idea what happen to my wrx but it gave out on me on my way home from work in the middle of the night. I called United Carrier to have my car towed and they came to the rescue. I moved to LA about a year ago but I still get sketched out about being stranded alone in the middle of the night by the guy who towed my car was very nice and helpful. Also, I was very relieved that they had a flatbed truck since my car is all wheel drive, last time I needed a tow I had to call several different towing companies to find one that had a flatbed. I'm glad to have called United Carrier my first try because they came through and got me out of my dilemma.
