Some good things in store but the men's clothing is SERIOUSLY lacking. I know its not bothering fault of the location, just wish you had a bigger Caballeros department!

Favorite thrift store! The ladies that work here are so kind and friendly. Always smiling. Best part is that they also have a veterans discount every Tuesday! Supporting and recognizing our veterans is something all stores should do!

Clean and organized. Employees were so nice, even though my toddler was wreaking havoc. We found a ton of great items, most new with tags and left paying just $28. Will definitely be back!

They have a little bit of everything you just gotta keep going there daily and the better stuff goes quick, but very reasonable prices on everything that they have

I shop all the thrift stores around here, and this one is the best. It's well organized. The stuff we buy always works. It's never overpriced. The staff are always friendly and helpful. We always end up with more than we went in for. The clothing selection is great, even for larger people like myself. I love the furniture selection too. Great selection of kitchen items as well. Always our first stop on our thrift crawls.

Clean and organized. Staff is always working hard. Very friendly if you have questions or need help.

Most clothes are $4 but a lot of it is marked up past that. They go through and price up coats, wedding dresses, and anything name brand. Tags are up to $50

The employees here are obviously disgruntled. They are extremely rude, I went to donate two bags of clothes. When I pulled up, one of the women looks at me and very annoyed tells me that I needed to pull further up, but not giving me clear direction how much further. So I suggested getting cones to clearly identify where they needed me to go. So I moved a foot and after asking she said that was perfect. So that got out of my car and grabbed my two bags (it was nothing I needed help with) and I said I didn’t understand how the one foot made a difference and the girl working said “it makes a big difference for us employees” again, I’m sure it does however they literally stood there and watched me as I grabbed the bags. So I said, you can either continue to make this really hard or you can just let me go home, and she said very angrily “well go home then” …my only response was that I hope your day gets better. I’m not impressed with this place. I will never be back.

A lady name Stephanie that works there is mean & very rude to customers that shops there and she talks about customers to other customers and should not be working at a St Vincent DePaul . She is an evil woman that is full of hate 🙏 I will never shop there again because of Stephanie and when a manager Carol was told about a situation she was just as bad as Stephanie. It’s sad those kind of people work in a godly catholic store where people donates great items .

I showed up at St. Vincent de Paul with 7 full bags of clothes, shoes, and coats, all meant to help others. Only to be turned away because I was 7 minutes past their 6pm drop off time. I get that rules are rules, but the issue wasn't the time cut. It was the rudeness and total lack of grace from the employees. A little kindness would've gone a long way, especially from an organization that preaches compassion. Two customers, not staff, came out to help me instead and happily took the donations so that they could still go to people who needed them. Meanwhile, the employee stood outside trying to intimidate me and even warned me about "illegal dumping" despite the fact that I hadn't left a single thing behind. So thank you, St. Vincent de Paul, for reminding me that your compassion clocks out at 6PM. I came to give, not be treated like a problem. I'll be donating elsewhere from now on. Who knew charity had a time clock and a bad attitude to match.
Oct 30, 2025 -
Sadly gone way downhill. Paltry and picked-over selection Mediocre prices. Given the constant stream of donations, I suspect that they divert the bulk of what they receive to channels other than the shop floor.

I will never ever drop anything off at your service ever again. I’ve been coming there for years. I was a little bit early and the woman outside would not Let me leave my stuff Everything was in boxes. I could’ve just set them down. She was a real witch and she was ignorant. She should not be able to work with customers very bad customer service at that store, you guys must not want stuff that bad if you don’t take something a little bit earlier than 10 o’clock and she called me bad names and I will never drop off all anything there again and I will tell people about how ignorant she was today is September 29 she should be fired how she treated me so Goodwill is getting my stuff from now on I have come there are lots and lots of times and no one has ever been that ignorant. I would pop my trunk and they would get my stuff out for me. I hope you got a business there. You have a lot of bad reviews.

To the dyed blonde older lady. Say late 60's early 70's. I dropped off items and she as was so rude. Asked me to move my car 5 feet because I was in a certain zone to drop something off less a minute. Nobody cares here. Catholics of St. Vincent. This is on you. Corinthians 13 4 through 7. Read it and live it or don't exist. This store sucks in other terms. I wouldnt give you any star but I have to

This place has the rudest workers/volunteers I've ever seen. People have to deal with enough crap in everyday life and shouldn't have to deal with this. I will no longer go to or donate to this awful place.

Absolutely done with this place. The last FOUR times I have donated or attempted to donate there has been an issue. The first time they were so incredibly rude to my husband that he came home infuriated, he hasn't shopped there since. Then I tried to donate again, THEY dropped the very nice night stand that I donated and then tried to put it back in my car. When I said I'm not taking it, they then said "you can find a dumpster to throw it in..." I said no YOU can find a dumpster to throw it in, YOU destroyed a beautiful night stand then they rolled their eyes at me. The rudeness is INSANE. I take time out of my day to nicely box donations to donate and they just dump it out. I can hear glass breaking. It's wasteful and the attitudes are disgusting. The most recent time which finally led me to making this post was the rudeness I was just shown. A lady shaking her head 'no' at me while pulling up and telling me that she has too much to clean up to receive a donation. Time before that when I was shopping I had to track down an employee to check us out. There was a line of about 10 people just standing there for over 7 minutes .. absolutely no one on the floor. I called the store, knocked on the office, I finally had to walk into the back sorting area to find an employee where SHE ended up being rude. There were multiple senior citizens standing there holding their items waiting. Lucky we didn't just all walk out with our items. I have supported this store for YEARS and YEARS and I will not be going back. The attitudes are ridiculous, you don't want us to shop or donate there, then we won't.

They are always clean and fairly organized, but they're not very friendly about you donating items and the website is not too comprehensive about what they won't take. If you have a good variety of things, expect to take some of it back home with you and some passive aggressive remark towards you about you even bringing it.

Not very kind when dropping stuff off rushed through pick through stuff I just bought a house and was simply trying to donate the previous owner stuff Older blonde lady is very rude. Didn’t get her name. Insult your stuff I get it if you don’t want it but it’s about the way they do it just not very kind when you’re giving stuff away for free I would go to Goodwill or feed my people this place needs new management. I don’t recommend coming honestly.

Today I took about 35 men’s clothing items to donate. Pants were clean/ pressed and on hangers. Sweaters clean and folded. Some women’s items too…clean and folded. I carefully loaded the car a drove to Lemay Store to donate. I opened the back of the SUV and some guy just grabbed everything and dumped into a cardboard Gaylord box outside. Geez… so much for appreciation and respect.

Prices are high. I don’t have to shop here but I like to see things that are different. I can buy new for less than what they are asking. Also, they recently closed the dressing rooms. If I can’t try it on, I’m not buying it and I don’t have time to run back for returns.

I regret to inform that I had an extremely negative experience at the establishment in question, and as a result, I have decided not to return. Furthermore, I have lost trust in the credibility of any sellers associated with the establishment due to encountering dishonesty from one of them. This incident left me feeling deeply disappointed and dissatisfied.

Very bad haul a load for them. . You have to unload the whole truck by yourself. A group of 5 employee standing and no one is helpful. When asked I need help , they told me they are not allowed to do so . Weird !!! I am not advising to take a load for this place. Better you find another cheaper rate route! They deserve no star at all.

I ordered a mattress on September 14,2023. I was told they had to order it. I called on September 22 & was told it was in. I drove over a hour on September 23 to pick it up. I was told they were bringing it up & then a manager named Karen came out & said it was backorder. They had no employee by the name I gave them & called me a lair. I called on Monday & Tuesday with no answer. I went by the store to check on it on September 27 & was told I would be called & they had nothing. This manager named Robin was hateful also. I am ready to contact the bbb because I get no answers. If you don't pick up in 3 days they take the mattress & sale it again & i lose my money. Don't buy mattress from this place ever.

I was assisted by Lisa. The most fantastic customer service I have ever had at a thrift store. She packed my items with such care and she even assisted me on getting to my ride. She was so kind and wonderful. I'll definitely be returning!

Really disappointed they replaced the old thrift store with this place. The clothing selection is (generously) 10% the volume it used to be and costs twice as much. Most of the floor space now is furniture from 20+ years ago that they price like it's some highly desirable antique and not some old brown couch from 1985. There are better thrift stores pretty much everywhere.

I don’t really thrift. I feel like this locations items are priced nicely. They had tables and chair sets I would like if I needed a table. Meaning fair price and looked good. I only came here for baskets for my boho wall decor. 1.25 for most of them. Online stores are selling them about ten each…so I’d say it’s worth looking around!

Very well organized store with a kind and helpful staff! They have the BEST selection of quality kitchen items and furniture, better than any surrounding thrift stores by far. Great place to find picture frames, dresses, and holiday decorations for whatever the upcoming holiday is. They also have new beds you can order at a range of quality and price, then you can have it delivered to your house for a small charge. I don't as often find clothes I like there (other than dresses), but I mostly go there for home goods anyways. It really is such a quality thrift store.

Staff is friendly and the store is nice enough. This rating is only for the poor quality of items and ridiculous prices. I have been in a few times in the last few months looking for items for my new home and left empty handed every time. The furniture is in terrible condition but they are still charging about four times more than any other thrift store in the area. An old, clunky, outdated and scratched up dining table was going for $200. I also find that interesting since I’ve had them scheduled to pick up donations from me and they refused to take it because of one tiny scratch or small imperfection. I’ve given up on coming here for good quality items or good prices. I need at least one of those from a thrift store and this store has neither.

I always stop by St. Vincent's when I'm in Missouri. Again, I wasn't dissappointed. I found the cutest jacket, a marble rolling pin,and tv tables, and some salad plates.f

I'm giving stars for cleanliness, well organized, and friendly service. I'm taking two stars away for outrageously ridiculous prices for a thrift store. Also there were many items not marked for prices. This is a very large store and as I mentioned before it was well organized. However many of the items like shoes seems very worn. The most reasonably priced Furniture was the stuff that had obviously been sitting for an extended period of time and was marked down. It doesn't appear that they run sales. I doubt I will return to the store again as it doesn't seem like the best place to find a bargain.
Oct 07, 2019 -
There isn’t that much of a selection. Most of the stuff on the shelves are throwaway items. The Goodwill locations in the area are a better option.
