I brung 3-4 broken down condensers with motors on side , and also a lot of copper. Had furnaces along with few more pieces of sheet metal on the side . The dude on the scale told me go dump it all with the rest of normal junk, I asked where does my little motors and pipe pieces go he said with that junk and when your empty come back to the scale. So I’m thinking it’s actually gone be right and I dump it all ! I go back to scale and goto lady at window, she gives me 28-35$ I know that ain’t a lick of correct bro .
I go to all of the scrap yards, depending on which one is paying the most that day if possible, and over and over agatin one has cheated me continuosly. They cheat me on my weight and the prices. I have stopped doing business with them for weeks and months at a time and the come back to give them a second chance only to have them cheat me again. They are also very rude. This was my first experience with recycling scrap metal. The owner was awesome and literally walked me through the whole process. All the staff were exceptionally nice and helpful and the other customers were respectful. I will definitely use Rimco again for future recycling needs.

Me and a few of my friends come to scrap some metal and they where dicks all the way around saying it's not worth dieing for 10 bucks when we had more then 265ib I can say this we will never come back here to do business with them at all
Things seemed to be going well, but then... I connected with RIMCO several weeks ago in search of a metal recycler in the STL area that would be responsive and communicate some level of detail about the metal we sent to them. They got a lugger box on site quickly and talked about additional containers on site to accumulate material in for an ongoing program. We filled the container with thousands of pounds of small parts, steel mostly, but other metals in there too, ballasts, smaller amounts of aluminum and copper, etc. After they picked up the box, it was the same story as the other companies I've used locally. I had to chase down payment for a few weeks, getting no reply to my efforts for days. Then the check finally came. I'm certain it's not the amount we should have been paid, but more importantly the description of materials we sent is simply listed as "Sheet iron". I've asked for clarification and a review, I was told they would find out why that description was given and get back to me. Over a week and I can't get anyone to respond. Same garbage I've dealt with at 3 or 4 other recyclers in town. I'll try someone else next time and keep tryin. I won;t use RIMCO again or give them any positive word of mouth.
Having concerns about the "honest weight" of my scrap copper electric wire and having 3 yards short me I tried Rimco on another persons suggestion. They came up with the same weight as I did and I've been back twice since. Clean place, helped me unload my wire, lots of parking/waiting area (unlike a few of the others I've been at), treated me like family, and fast service. Oh ... and honest. What more can you ask for?
