Truck drives down Hanley Rd with all manner of trash and debris blowing out the back. I told the driver at a stop light. He didn't care. I called their number and a man was short with me, said he would get it handled.

Great place! I've been getting scrap out of here for about two years now. Great guys, they scale you out correctly. These people giving reviews about it being too small and tight. I do it every day. Learn how to drive is all I can say. #scrapyard #industrial #metalrecycling

Take way to long to load, told dispatcher to not ever send me back I'd rather stay home and lose money than to deal with that again.

I have been dealing with Wallach Iron & Metal for approx 15-20 years. The emphasis has been on commercial scrap recycling which keeps it more professional. Wait times have never been an issue for me---maybe 45 min. tops. Always helpful , courteous and professional. I will only use them as long as I'm in business.

Lazy unloading 3hrs, tight entrance and surrounding the building tight for trk .

You have to do scale at in and out

This is a cool place but beware of you drive your rig on the yard and something happens and it's their fault you are still screwed. Took company truck thru there popped 2 $600 tired on the same side and all they said was "Damn". Other than that great service guys are friendly. Would recommend you use Vince Jacks if you plan on going and are not commercial. As they only deal with commercial and Wellston scrap is right down the street but they rob you

Very, Very tight for semi deliveries. Kinda slow about unloading. Two hours and counting.

First class operation. I own a business, and have been selling scrap to them for years.

I am curious why the others gave an unfavorable review....was it because Wallach wouldn't take the copper you stole out of a house? I bet it is... They deal with real companies and not posers that turn in ripped out water meters and copper so a bottle of malt liquor can be purchased
