Mechanic told me that I fried my alternator and it needs to be replaced. Quoted me $1019.42 for the replacement. I refused service and paid the diagnostic fee. After I got it home, I removed the alternator myself and had it tested and it passed. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it. This shop tried to sell me repairs that I did not need. No way I'll be doing business with them ever again

My tech was Brandon. The repair that he completed was quick and thorough. We did have to wait for the part to arrive he was completed with my axel with 2 hours. Thank you!

Moved here less than a year ago, but have already found our go-to automotive repair shop. Car-Doc has been fast, efficient, well priced, and best of all, honest and respectful. No over selling, no questionable repair calls (experienced a few of those in the past), just an excellent "get it done right" attitude. Place is clean, and everybody we've dealt with has been very friendly- seriously, what more can you ask for?

I recently got my car serviced here for an oil change and wheel alignment. The whole process was smooth and professional. The team worked quickly, explained everything clearly, and made sure my car was running perfectly before handing it back. Really happy with the service and would definitely recommend them!

Got a reasonable price on brakes, transmission fluid, brake fluid. Oil change was a bit high. Grinds my gears a bit that I was pushed to the BG EPR and 44k (sales said also MOA but not on the receipt…) on a GDI fueled with detergent gas. Probably a solid waste of $100. I was out and about when sold on the products as “engine tune up”, asked if it helped for GDI intake valves and was told yes. I guess they get their BG incentive this way. As far as I can tell, they add EPR to oil, run and flush the existing dirty oil then fill like usual with MOA (if they did at all). I was told they also put in bulk clean oil to perform this before flushing and filling with synthetic. This statement is not supported by the receipt. Most frustratingly they didn’t check tire life before charging $35 for tire rotation (healthily overpriced with brake job being done). 2 tires had wheel rot, I realized after. For being a tire branded store you’d think they’d check this out… plenty of tread left but 3/4 tires are 6 years old. One was 4, so maybe they only checked that one tire. Now I’ve paid for an overpriced tire rotation and need to replace tires for safety immediately, just after going to the shop. Hopefully others get lucky enough to check the shops work… hopefully my other work is fine!

Love this automotive repair shop! #1 for me the convenience is A-Plus, it is 3-5 minutes away. The shop, lobby and waiting areas are always spotless! The crew they are pleasant and patient, their work is very efficient. My wait time is never very long and if it is the waiting area’s atmosphere is so calming I don’t mind. I’m never blindsided by the repair cost, to me it is pretty economical and I’m a retired patron. Kudos to you “Car-Doc Automotive!”

I had such a great exp here! I was already stressed dealing with a nail in my tire and was planning to go somewhere else when they actually called me after seeing my appointment note—even though I didn’t even finish booking. They told me to come in, fixed the issue, patched my tire, and recalibrated my sensors really fast. They really didn’t have to go out of their way like that, but they did, and it made my day so much easier esp since it was my birthday. You don’t find customer service like this often. They are ppl you can trust!

They seem competent, but our experience was not great. The air conditioner in our car wasn't working, so we took the car in; they said it needed $3000 dollars of work: new compressor, new condenser, pretty much everything needed to be replaced. We had the work done, and less than a year later, it wasn't working. Took it in again; they couldn't find any leaks or other problems but charged us another $160 to top off the coolant; $140 of this was labor. Since they couldn't find the leak, I guess we'll just be doing this periodically. I'd hoped they would stand behind their work better than this; after a $3000 repair, it seems like they missed something, but they aren't taking any responsibility for it.

I was very pleased with the service* but was surprised by two things: 1) Suddenly "Car Doc" became "Telle Tire" during the time my car was in the shop and 2) No one went over my invoice with me as I was paying. It is very detailed invoice so most questions answered but it would have allowed me to ask any other questions I had. *as with medical procedures, I have no way to see what was really done! But my brakes work properly again so I am happy.

I wish I could leave 20 stars. I had a fantastic experience. John (the store manager) fit me in for a last-minute inspection and was incredibly communicative and kind. He got me out the door in 15 minutes. Comfortable and clean waiting area as well. I asked multiple times if I could tip him and he would not let me! So my tip to everyone: go to Car Doc!

I went to car-doc after another shop told me that I needed to replace the whole engine. That's if they could find a decent replacement for it, and it would cost thousands of dollars. At car-doc they diagnosed it and fixed it in just a few hours for less than half the price. This included my brakes, which wasn't part of the estimate from the other garage. My experience at car doc was great, even if it is a little weird to see a clean mechanics garage. Now, I'm just going to take my car there first.

The VW GOAT, especially TDIs. Fair prices, good work, and good people throughout the entire process. Also - I’m an enthusiast so I’d like to think I understand cars, I just don’t like working on my own car all that much (especially since I can’t afford down time!). These guys seem to understand and respect that, which I really appreciate. There’s no dumbing down or anything, they tell me exactly what’s being done and we can go back and forth occasionally if need be. Seriously - if you’re going to the VW dealer instead of these folks, it’s time to reconsider lol.

Great experience. Made an appointment online for an emissions test, and was emailed by the store manager Jon with an open time slot for my desired day. Showed up ten minutes early and was greeted by Jon, who got me squared away instantly and finished the test and got me out the door in 20 minutes. Very pleasant attitude, and the waiting room is comfortable, certainly recommend.

I have been going here for years and they always take care of me and my car, picking me up when needed. They have always been fair and honest, never pushing me to get something done unless it was necessary. I highly recommend to anyone—just ask for John.

Couldn't recommend these guys enough! Brought my car in around 3:30pm tonight with nails in two tires that needed to be replaced. They went out of their way to go get me two new tires after their parts delivery guy was already gone for the day and got me fixed up so I can hit the road on schedule tomorrow morning. Thank you so much Cardoc, you'll be getting all my automotive business while I'm living in the area!

I love Car-Doc. It's a place that I trust for my car. I would like to see the TV removed from the waiting room and music be played instead. People look at their phones or work in their laptops when they wait.

I have had nothing but positive experiences at Car-Doc over the last 6 years. Their work is high quality and they never pressure me to get services done that aren’t necessary. They also go above and beyond for their customers (I once had my entire wheel stolen and they came to my apartment to replace it so that I didn’t have to tow my car. They also fixed my visor for free in less than 20min after I had gone to another shop that was going to charge me $90 just to “diagnose” the problem). I will most definitely return!

Recently had a problem with my car's blower and immediately called Car Doc. They got me in as quickly as possible and as in the past, everything went extremely well. Car Doc is a 1st class auto repair shop--with 1st class trained techs & a terrific customer service rep named Debbie. Folks at Car Doc are extremely honest, explain everything to you so you can understand, and don't do anything that you don't need. Their prices are very fair and they never tack on extra charges. If your car needs something, they will tell you. If you're looking for an A++ auto repair shop, that goes the extra mile or two for its customers, then Car Doc is the place for you.

I have been going to Car-Doc for the past 2+ years. They NEVER disappoint!!! They always work with my schedule. I'm always in and out in less than an hour for my regular maintenance services. Prices are very reasonable. Staff is always nice. If there are any other issues they find, they come and explain it to me and give me options. I never feel forced to have to get services done at that time like other places. I've never seen a cleaner shop!!! It's just an overall great place!!!

We have been using Car-Doc for about 10 years. Always excellent service without any attempt to sell something not needed. All work has been first rate, and all the people are very courteous. We have bought three cars through their buying service, including one for our son, and they gave all been excellent. We recommend Car-Doc to all our friends both for maintaining their current cars and for buying cars.

My boyfriend takes his car to Car-Doc, and when I mentioned that I needed work done to mine he enthusiastically recommended this place. They aren't located in my area so I was a bit hesitant until I read all the amazing reviews, particularly those from other women. The staff and technicians lived up to their reputation. Everyone was friendly, honest, and straightforward. The job was done and now my car runs as smooth as ever! I'm very pleased with everything and highly recommend Car-Doc!

I am pretty sure I have already given Car-Doc a 5-star review, but I can't say enough good things about them. Spotless facility shows they really take pride in their work. Many knowledgeable technicians (read their bios on the website). As others have mentioned, they take the time to describe the issues and answer any questions you may have about the work. I brought in my car that had trouble starting and they replaced the battery and a couple other things that needed to be fixed while they had it. Two days later the car wouldn't start again, so we brought it back to them. They could not replicate the issue, so we went to pick it up again. The issue finally happened when we tried to leave, so the technicians were able to diagnose the issue. They fixed it the next day and told me they would not charge me because we have already had work done and we have been back and forth with them so often. It is relieving to find a place that I can trust. They not only care about fixing the car, they care about the people driving the car, too. I won't take my cars anywhere else. Car-Doc family member for life!
