I truly love this Firestone location! I had a serious oil leak and was previously quoted $1,800 by another shop that had already worked on my car before the leak started. I decided to let Firestone take a look, and they quoted me only $260 and they actually fixed the problem. That was a couple months ago and my car hasn’t had a single issue since. A big thank you to Jacob and Jen, the managers for being honest, helpful, and providing great customer service. Also thank you to Ali for doing a great job repairing my car. Highly recommend this team!

Just bought a new set of tires and one of them loses 10 PSI overnight. Brought it in, got a call the car was ready, asked what had happened and I was told they had no notes on it but he was sure that whatever the problem was is now fixed. Get in car and its still 10 PSI low. Not sure if the did a thing and can't get a call back.

I went to Firestone today, and I was in a tough spot. My car battery was dead earlier this morning due to the winter conditions, but AAA came out to the house to give me a jolt! I had to leave my car running to go out and purchase a new car battery from O'Reilly Auto Parts. I tried to get them to install the new battery, but there was a short staff, and no one there knew how to install the new battery into my car. So I was given a choice to go home and try the next day. By returning to O'Reilly Auto Parts and wait on a certain person the staff referred me to, to install the new battery. But that was a problem for me. My battery was so weak, I was afraid to turn the car off because I knew it would not turn on again. I didn't want to call AAA again. So I went to Firestone and told them the situation between Jacob and Dan. They were kind enough to install my new battery for me since the O'Reilly staff was short on people at one location and the other O'Reilly location on the same street, but 10 to 12 minutes down the road from one another. Told me they do not install car batteries. Which I thought was part of their job description? This particular lady at the first O'Reilly was not helpful when I asked them to install the car battery. I was told that they do not install car batteries. I had to go to a car repair shop to have them install it for me. But I could've sworn that is part of their job description to do a job such as this one. Thanks, Jacob and Dan, for helping me out. Some people at O'Reilly's Auto Parts are just mean and do not want to do their jobs. Sincerely, Orion Paden

Clayton Firestone is hands down the best automotive repair shop in St. Louis. My vehicle was having issues and Jacob didn’t hesitate to get me right in. The lead mechanic Justin was amazing, he took his time and diagnosed my vehicles issues. Justin took his time explaining the cause and gave me peace of mind knowing it wasn’t anything I could have done to cause not prevent. Thanks again Firestone Clayton! 🙏

I’ve been here multiple times over the past couple of years and have had good experiences with efficiency and reasonably priced services. Got a battery replaced yesterday and was informed about a positive battery cable corroding that was recommended to be replaced for an additional $280. Shame on me for not listening as my car isn’t starting the next day due to the cable. Jen, one of the receptionists, has answered a majority of my calls with an attitude every single time. Not sure what her deal is, but that’s been the most consistent part of my experience there. Jacob on the other hand had been awesome and kind every time I speak to him. This is the kind of customer service you look for - the ability to talk to people kindly especially after an instance like this occurs - whether or not the extra part recommended was accepted. I’m sure we all have experience with auto shops trying to upsell and lacking honestly in true necessities. Overall a good shop, but as I stated earlier, the attitude issue needs to be addressed.

I have been a customer at the Forsyth Firestone for over 15 years. Brad Clutter was the former manager and I couldn’t have been happier with the service we received there. My most recent visits began with an extremely rude reception over the phone and in person. After my last visit in January 27, I will never return. I had a simple issue to be taken care of and communication between the staff was poor and the information I relayed to them was completely disregarded. The under car splash should had come off due to deep snow and I informed staff member at intake that the shield was in the back seat. When I picked up the car, they said it was too damaged to be salvaged and thrown out when they didn’t even look at the part and it was still in the back seat. No recommendation was made on ordering a new part or what next step should be. The only positive I have to say was that the price charged was fair and they were able to work me into their schedule that day. I will be going out of my way for future service. I would not recommend.

I got new tires, which are fine, also got a lot of attitude from the employees from the start. There were a couple other things they said required maintenance that I declined for the moment but I had questions and was met with poor customer service. I was open to getting the additional work done despite the poor attitude but after trying to ask questions I will definitely not return.

I waited on the lot for less than 5 minutes and a representative came out to ask if I needed help. He checked all of my tires after me telling him that I needed air in one of them. They appeared to be busy, but he took the extra 5 minutes to help in a big way. Thanks a million 😊

They were absolutely amazing and so helpful! I came in with a friend for an issue with her car, but my car began making an odd noise. They promptly offered to take a look at it, and immediately located the problem and fixed it. The entire process took five minutes max, and they easily solved a problem that another local shop had caused. Thank you to their dedication and honesty. I would definitely recommend going to them for any car issue!

Jacob and the Firestone staff are also incredible! They’re helpful. They’re kind and the entire place was clean. They made the entire process so easy especially around the holidays. It’s always nice to have somewhere to go or you know you’re not gonna be pulled around. 10 out of 10 would recommend

One of my car's brakes was making noise. The technician explained to me that initially they thought they needed to replace the brake, but then had another mechanic look at it, and they were able to fix it. The total cost was only around $20. Best deal I've ever had with a repair shop.

The Clayton, MO location was outstanding. Especially Brandon. I had somewhat of an emergency situation on a Saturday evening just before they were closing. One of my tires had a hole in it and went totally flat. I needed a new tire immediately because I was traveling for work by car the next day. They are open on Sundays and were able to fit me in at 9am and get me all fixed up and on the road before noon!

Was able to get the car in very quickly. Service staff were efficient and courteous. Received a call midway for any updates. Work was completed on time. Much less expensive than taking it to the dealer for the same maintenance.

I had a fantastic experience with Firestone! They were incredibly helpful, quick, and honest throughout the whole process. The staff was so friendly and made me feel confident I was getting fair treatment. The manager, was very nice and genuinely wanted to help. I highly recommend them and will definitely be back next time!

I called in looking for an emissions test and spoke with Demetrius who told me he was booked out. He actually called me back the next day and said they had a spot open if I could bring it in. Got me in and out in under two hours with an oil change and tire rotation too. Amazing customer service from Demetrius. Thank you!

I’ve been going to this Firestone for nearly 10 years. Jacob and Jen are highly trustworthy automotive experts that I’ve trusted with my Honda and my mom’s Jeep. They’ve taken care of my ‘09 accord since 2016 and it still takes me all around the country. Their team of folks are thorough and honest about repairs that are urgent vs. what can wait which I’ve always appreciated, especially when I was a student.

I had an overall disappointing and frustrating experience when I dropped my car off at Firestone on Forsyth. I brought my car in for a tire repair and ended up having to replace it (bummer, but I understood). I did not hear from the shop all anfternoon and eventually just went to go pick up my car. Without context they told me they needed to keep my car over night and charge me for additional repairs because of the tire sensor. This surprised me since the sensor was working when I dropped it off in the morning. Turns out, the mechanic broke off the sensor when changing my tire and couldn’t get the new one to work. Instead of owning the mistake and apologizing, they tried to charge me additional fees for a repair for damages they made. I understand mistakes happen, but there was such a lack of accountability and communication. My experience ended up being a bummer and costly since I now have to take my car somewhere else to repair the damage to the sensor they caused.

Amazing customer service. I had to bring my wife’s car in because of a seized bolt that wouldn’t come out with the tools I have. The team here at Firestone was able to extract it at a very reasonable price and replaced the parts I was trying to do myself at a reasonable rate and time. When my wife took the car away and drove over an hour down the road, she started to hear some metal on metal sound and pulled off the road. I drove to meet my wife to see if I could see what the problem was and see if I could fix it right there on the spot. After I test drove it, it sounded like the issue was the brake dust guard was scraping against the rotor. I jacked the car up on the side of the road, took the wheel off, and sure enough, the brake dust guard was bent inwards and scraping against the rotor. I simply bent back to normal position and that’s all the issue was. I called Firestone and the store manager, Jacob, was extremely apologetic and offered a complimentary oil change for my time and was very kind. This is more that I would’ve expected based on prior experiences I’ve had from other auto mechanic shops. I honestly have not had this good of customer service from any mechanic that I’ve ever been too. 5 stars for this Firestone location and for the store manager, Jacob. I will be back again if I ever have a fix that I can’t do myself again.

We had a flat tire late Friday night and Jacob answered the phone at 7:03am on Saturday morning when I called. He said to come in and when I got there at 7:15am he was helpful and friendly. We were in a time crunch to get new tires for our car as we had an event that evening. He got it all done well before the time we needed the car and was communicative and helpful throughout the entire process.

Incredible customer service! The team saved me a lot of time and money, especially when I came to them after other places try to scam me and overprice me. They do timely work and are so happy to work with you. I only bring my car here now and they all know my name and they’re very easy to talk to and figure out the best options for you!!

I stopped by with a problem on a Saturday and Jacob was very helpful in looking at my car and taking care of the problem. This was not the first time the people at Firestone have taken care of me when I did not have an appointment. The last time it was Chris who helped me, and Jenn helped me another time. This is the Firestone on Forsythe in St. Louis, Missouri. Since I first brought my car here, many years ago, I would not consider taking it anywhere else. These people have the "Fundamental Honesty" pledged as the keystone of your business. I am always greeted with utmost courtesy, and I know that their recommendations are necessary. The resulting work is excellent and totally reliable. I am particularly impressed by their kindness and concern for customers who are worried about cost, and how they steer them towards ways to make the repairs, parts etc. affordable. They exemplify the integrity of true service. I cannot recommend them highly enough. I would particularly recommend Jen with whom I have been served so well and who manifests not only competency and knowledge of all aspects of the businees, but is the reason that I and many other customers return every time service is needed. She is an exemplary employee. Jacob is continuing her her work ethic and example. I am a very grateful and satisfied customer . ( Also a very Senior Citizen.) Patricia McLaughlin

Polite, efficient, and competent. I always trust them with my tires, maintenance, and repairs. Also, while I was picking up my car last time, two people in a row came in without appointments for help with flat tires. The shop was booked solid, but they helped anyway by quickly sending a technician out to fill their tires to get them to the next shop for repair.
