I was on highway 64 east at 1pm on Wednesday 7/2, passing McKnight road, when one of their tow trucks entered the highway going extremely fast for the flow of traffic. The man driving the tow truck cut over 3 lanes without looking, nearly merging into my van with myself and my 7 year old son inside. We had to swerve into the passing lane, overcorrected, and came up on two tires, nearly missing another vehicle that was also in the passing lane. My husband called to report the incident, and the front desk woman was apologetic, but I’m sure not much will be done. This company almost caused a near fatal accident with a child involved and I hope the man who is involved (middle aged stocky white man with blonde-ish hair) receives the appropriate consequences.
My truck was leaking oil all in my works parking lot (my entire parking spot was covered in oil). I called Doc’s and they were here in less than 30 minutes! Lane was so friendly and awesome! Once the truck was loaded, he even cleaned up the oil spill. Awesome and easy people to work with!
High recommend Docs for your towing needs. They were responsive, quick and up front about everything. I’ve never had a car towed before this and they were super helpful with the whole process.
I sat on the side of the highway for four hours alone in the dark waiting on Docs to come tow me when I was quoted 60-90 minutes by roadside assistance. Come to find out it was because the dispatch put me at the bottom of the list right so the driver could drop my car off and then go to the yard 4 blocks away and be done for the night. Would not recommend Docs to anyone.
The Walton road location is probably the worst. They made up a bunch of fees then lied to me telling me theirs was a hold on my car, their never was just to keep my car another day to make money. If u ever see this review and u go anyway be ready to claw your way out.
This company is great!! I believe Jake or Jack was the technician that came to get us out. Very professional and timely! Made quick work of a stuck ram 5500!! Price was crazy cheap too! Thank you guys so much!
This company is a scam limited hours closed on Sunday but they still charge the day they can tow at any hour but won’t let u pick it up the same day with out a paper from police station that they charge 50 for plus charge administration. Fee n on top of that don’t work on 24 hr frame
The bad reviews made me nervous, but honestly everyone there was really nice and helpful! Had my car towed here last week after being rear ended. Didn't know of any towing services and this is who the Maryland Heights police officer recommended. Went in today to get my belongings out of my car. All I had to do was get the insurance company to call them and I was able to get my stuff out of my vehicle no problem. Don't always believe the negative reviews you see on here!
My tire fell off and i had no insurance or money for a tow.😩😩 So St.John had to tow it to Docs.
The tow fees ($40 a day) , registration fees and having to buy insurance did suck.😂😂😩😩
But they put tarp over my motor and kept my car safe.😎👌🏾
And the lady at Docs answered all my questions about the “tow release form” and the 30day policy. After i called multiple times because i was bamboozled about the requirements to get my car back. Lol
Now my car is all fixed. And lesson learned.

So glad to see people, not trying to get rich off people getting they car towed very nice. People that work there really wanna say thank you to the owner for not overcharging. For people can afford to get their car back
The office manager is extremely rude and condescending. I have many more words to explain her, but I’ll stop there since this is a business account. The rest of the guys are nice and helpful and obviously don’t care for her either. Be prepared for undisclosed charges ($40 lot fee per day which does not just mean 24hours). Our vehicle was stolen and discovered two hours away in STL and this is the company the PD called to recover it. You’d think they would at least use this opportunity to perform a friendly service and boost their horrible ratings.
Car gets totaled and towed here. Most our stuff is missing from the car. Thieves. Broke sad thieves. Talk about insult to injury. Now yet another claim to make.
My friends card was impounded In St. John and my wallet was left in the glove box one day prior when I got a ride the previous day to the store to shop for my 100% disabled mother. Anyway I called Docs and asked if I would be able to retrieve my wallet the woman who answered the phone was very rude and unprofessional and refused to talk about the vehicle or about me being able to retrieve my wallet with all my debit cards my drivers license my mother's social security debit card. I wasn't in the vehicle when it was impounded and since my id is in the vehicle you would think they would let me get my wallet which they could obviously see is mine. Very Rude and Very Unprofessional!!!!
By far the worst experience I have ever encountered with a towing service. Overland Police had my car towed here after being in an accident and when I tried to get things out of my car, they did not allow that unless I paid to get my car off of the lot, which was fine. I came back to get my car off the lot, but was not told that they do not accept any forms of payment except cash and that it must be exact change. So after going to get cash, I was told they don’t have change. I called before coming, but none of this was disclosed to me. The person working had the worst customer service I’ve ever encountered and seemed to be upset that I came an hour before they closed. Long story short, avoid them at all costs.
Doc's Towing company towed my car per police request to Docs on Saturday, due to the holiday were closed until Tuesday. Even though they were closed for 3 days I was still charged a lot fee which is illegal to do per state provisions of Missouri revised Statues. They are illegally charging and taking money from people. When asked who the owner was, the little old lady working said she cant give that information out. Horrible Service, 0 stars, would NOT recommend.
It cost $425.00 to get our car out of yard for less than 24hr. Which was towed there by Doc's. We have roadside assistance, which covers towing. But I was not able to use it.
Car was in an accident and st. Johns police automatically had Doc's tow the car to their storage yard when I told them I have towing on my insurance and we will have it towed. Car went to Docs at 8pm, went to pick it up the next day and they charged me $425 CASH ONLY! What a rip off!! When you walk in the place smells like cat pee and the lady is no help what so ever as she was trying to talk to me from across the room where I couldn't hear anything she said. Wost towing experience ever! I will never use this company!!
My employee had his car stolen and it ended up being recovered and towed by Doc’s. The lady working at the desk was extremely helpful. She jumped the car and knew exactly what she was doing. I recommend this towing service and will use them again if the need arises at my business.
Professional. The dispatcher I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. Took awhile but I was at home and it's better if they were able to get people off the road side first. It was a hot day.

I wouldn't recommend this place!! My vehicle was towed to the wrong place!! I didn't find out til the next day. I told the driver the name of the place where I wanted it towed and gave him the address. He said yeah I know where that is. If he knew where it was why the hell did he tow it to the wrong place? I will never use this company again! I was charged twice even though the driver delivered my car to the wrong place. I should not have to pay twice. It wasn't my fault the driver delivered it to the wrong location!!
Overcharged me for wrecker service. Asked them to take it to my residence said they couldn't do it, took my vehicle to their yard so I would have to pay storage for that day.
Very nice people and very professional about the entire process. Considering our van was stolen, we still ended up paying 225.00 to get it back. Nice house that's a business and friendly employees too.
Rocco did such a fantastic job towing my car that I want it to break down for him to tow it again!! I will never trust anyone else to tow my car except for him, exceptional service.
Our car was towed late Friday night/ early Saturday morning after a car accident. We were told we would be able to get things out of the car later since we were being taken to the hospital for the driver’s injuries and didn’t have time to get anything out at the time of the accident. We went today to retrieve things from the vehicle and we were rudely turned away because “the insurance company hasn’t looked at it yet”. We explained to the woman at the front that my husband is a diabetic and we NEED his insulin and diabetic supplies, along with his wallet which contains his ID, insurance cards, credit cards, etc., and our house keys. There are also many sentimental pictures and items from the birth of our daughter and our wedding that we would like to retrieve before it rains, since the windows were blown out of the car. We were told we could retrieve these items. I would like to talk to the owner about this issue ASAP.
Great service super dependable. Even though the driver stated they were busy with multiple tows. they still made time for me in a very professional manner.
