Lovely place. Many items. High quality items. Most items I felt were over priced, but if you were looking for that item, I guess the price might look more reasonable. I liked how the longer it was there, the price came down. But that lower price always seemed to be the max price I would want to ever pay. So you decide!?

Today I was in there and I stood and watched while one of the salespeople was incredibly short and rude to a customer. I was so irritated at her behavior; I went up to someone else and asked who she was. I was even more astonished when I found out her name was Sarah, and she was the General Manager! Wow. So disappointing.
One of my favorite places to visit with one of the largest selections of vintage and antique home furnishings and collector items around and the staff are very friendly.
It’s a lovely experience every time I walk through the front door! The quality of their items, from large furniture to historic sterling silver snuff boxes, are comparable to a New York gallery!
I would give 0 if I can. I visited the store twice and bought several “gold” pin sticks. The first time I bought 3. When I buy them, I buy them from a case that saying they are either 10k, 14k(didn’t mention gold plate or overlay). I got them tested at a jewelry store and one pin is not gold. The next day I went to their store to return the one that is not gold. The guy was nice and apologized. I can feel I was respected and probably it’s just an accident. So I pick another three pins. I asked the store to test it to see if it’s gold again. It seems one piece is not gold but the other two are 10k and 18k. So I bought the other two. Again, I tested them at a jewelry store using both machine and acid. The 18k one is definitely not 18k but rather 10k gold plated. I was disappointed and came back to return it. The WOMAN was so rude. She told me they will not sell things to me again since it’s my second time to return. But it is not my fault. It’s their responsibility to test, organize, clarify things. She didn’t apologize but rather blame me on returning. I am so sad it’s happening in Columbus and in a such great store. I told her if it’s not gold or not solid gold, you have to clarify it. She replied OKAY and told me when they mention gold it’s can be gold plated. They how can we trust on the other valuable pieces?? So rude and I will not do business with them again.
I’ve never been to a store like this. Consignment I guess it is. Very interesting items. Furniture, art, misc home goods and jewelry. Tons of employees around to assist if needed.
We came to browse dining sets and purchased a table with chairs. They have a lot of quality antique furniture and it is fun to look around! Furniture is usually more high end and can be expensive, but prices decrease on a fixed schedule and you may also make offers to the seller. Staff was friendly and made it easy to purchase. They will hold items you purchase for up to 7 days.
The inventory constantly changes. You never know what you'll find. I love this place! My latest purchase was a travertine topped coffee table and a beautiful Chandelier

Prices are great, items are displayed nicely and easy to access, super high quality (no junk here), and the staff is extremely helpful but not in a hovering kind of way at all. The store is well laid out, clean, and full of treasures just waiting to be found.
Check it out just once and you'll see why visiting Grandview Mercantile is a fantastic way to spend a couple hours. Plus, the longer an item is there, the lower the price goes.
By shopping here for lots of my household items, I've been able to create a cozy, eclectic mix of wonderful things that truly make my house feel like home. I feel good about not buying new and I always find one of a kind items that embody my personality.
This place is incredible. Beautiful antiques, jewelry, furniture, and oriental rugs at reasonable prices. Very helpful staff. Highly recommended. I’m reading a book about Army mules and they even had a mule pack saddle for sale. It doesn’t look like much but it made my day.
Grandview Mercantile Company stands head and shoulders above any other purveyor of previously owned merchandise. Every item is displayed to its best advantage. The furniture is dust-free. Silver, brass, and copper are polished, if appropriate for the piece. Crystal is brilliant. Art is curated, to the extent possible, and many of the better items have descriptive text on their price cards.
While some items have fixed prices, most are displayed with a list of decreasing prices and the dates on which each item's price will drop to the next level. If you wait long enough, you'll generally get a great bargain if someone doesn't buy it at a higher price. It makes shopping there more exciting!
Well I can’t say this place isn’t a real local gem, albeit a bit pricey, although when we compare quality and material and contrast it to modern vendors; it’s a long step above them all... What to find at Grandview Mercantile you ask? Everything mostly, it’s a good blend of retro and mid century meets fine antiques and quirky furniture and fixtures. Plenty of eccentric art and upper class and modern arts all the same, we can blanket that sentiment over the whole of the stores offerings and call is a meld of classes of tastes and periods. You might even walk around simply for a to do, and some lovely conversation. It’s fun to participate in Columbus growing community and offerings and simply feel at home. This is a good addition and edition to and for the ever growing central Ohio spirit... My only critique is, I, we are a tattooed couple, we do not convey a traditional energy of wealth but what we convey isn’t your concern. All patrons are equals, and I believe staff may or may not need a culture refresher course. I as a local guide also own two thriving business of great reputation. You never know who might drop the big bucks! Or a bad review... Cheers!
This is my 1st time visiting the new location since I moved & I love it! Don’t get me wrong, I miss all of the windows & natural light from the old location on High Street, but I enjoy not fighting for parking.. Patty was extremely helpful & so nice!!! I cannot wait to stop back in when I visit Columbus again!

If mid-century modern furniture and art were people this is the gated community where all the beautiful and sexy people would retire and play golf, tennis, and look lustily at one another. One of my favorite places to shop for MCM art and furniture.
