In my opinion, Capitol Towing is the best towing company in the Columbus area. Nick assisted with getting our SUV that was stuck in a tricky spot in the snow and ice out today. He did a great job! The company overall is professional, provides speedy service, are friendly and have fair pricing. I highly recommend them.

I needed to put air in a tire, and when I put the pump onto the valve, the valve snapped and out went all the air. I called Capital to send someone out to change out my tire with the spare, and a technician was there within 10-15 minutes after my call. My tire was literally frozen to the axle and it took three guys to finally get it off. They all went WAY above and beyond with their service, and I couldn't thank them enough. The night was long and freezing cold, and they certainly didn't have to help the way they did. I am very impressed with this company and the techs that helped me, and highly recommend them.

Our alternator gave out and the car almost made it to the Firestone Complete Auto Care, but died on the Stringtown Rd./I71 overpass. It's a busy time of the year for towing and they got to us in ~40 minutes. The driver was great, and pretty hilarious. It was good to get a laugh or two in such an un-funny situation. I did have to go into excruciatingly unnecessary detail with the dispatcher about our location. "Honda Odyssey with its hood up on Stringtown Rd., Eastbound, on the I71 overpass at the I71 South ramp" should have covered it. We went through a laundry list of landmarks that were all in my rearview mirror because we were ON THE OVERPASS. But I sort of get it. They don't want the driver hunting and pecking for a busted down car. Still 5-Stars.

I had a great experience with Capital Towing! I came out on a very cold morning to go to work and my car wouldn’t start. Their tow truck driver was out in under an hour, he was friendly and knowledgeable and the price was fair

I was lost at a gas station and your driver Rick Tucker pulled in. I asked him for directions and he was very kind and helped me find my way back home. Thank you Rick for taking time out of your busy day during this snow emergency to help a lost traveler.

I will not call another company if I need a tow or pulled from a ditch. This company is so professional and was so gentle with my vehicle. Even with the weather being so cold, Jason was still there in an hour. Thank you so much Jason.

DONT USE UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR Vehicle ROBBED AND LEFT IN AN UNAUTHORIZED LOCATION! Taking advantage of SINGLE MOMS AND WOMEN IN GENERAL!!!! I DESERVE SOME MONEY BACK if not ALLLLLLL!!!! Phew I’d EVER use them again 😮‍💨 well I broke down at Wendy’s off georgesville paid over $200 (which was my last bc I paid for my daughters surgery not including two Ubers)to have it towed to my garage gave very clear and detailed instructions on where to park it and all. The lady was rude and barley listened && the FIRST driver clearly didn’t care bc he left my truck at a different business then I called at 7 am bc I realized my truck was stuck alllllll the way at another location and didn’t start so I couldn’t move it myself. A lady named Shannon answered claimed they would fix it. She ended up sending the driver alllll the way back to georgesville The SECOND driver Bruce is the only reason I gave two stars ⭐️ because he communicated very well && that’s how I found out they sent him to georgesville instead of where I told them the truck was. I didn’t gain access to my truck until almost 9-10 am when I should’ve had it at 7 am when I arrived since it was towed the night before. This is a disgusting business && if I could I’d do business with Bruce every time but capital/complete tow and recovery NEVER AGAIN!! Now I’m out over $200 plus I have to replace everything that was stolen!! All because I’m a woman who was by myself. I was taken full advantage of.

The dispatcher was very polite and helpful, and the guys that came right out and got the job done quickly and efficiently.

I called for a tow out of a snowbank this morning. They were nice over the phone when I called. The guy that came to tow was very helpful and stayed until I was back in my parking space safely. Very reasonable. Would recommend.

Our Tow truck driver, Tucker, was great. Got out to us quick loaded up the car quick and made the whole process quick and easy. Let us get into the truck immediately which was nice given how cold it was outside

Passed one of the drivers with a load on 71 south near Ashland, Truck number 114. I will say this, I am impressed with the curtsy and polite driving. Used turn signals and was very mindful with spacing between them and other vehicles on the road. Rare to see and I’m impressed. Good job!

Call# 25-116487 I needed a tow for not too far of a distance, I called dispatch and they got me taken care of in a timely manner, I went to destination where my vehicle was at and had it towed in about 20 or so, my friend Jason who works there was awesome as usual. Will definitely call back when need another tow or anything else they offer, Tracy was also awesome on dispatch. Thanks again for taking care of me.

This company likes to drive around apartment complexes they have a contract with, at 3 am, towing cars that don't even live in the neighborhood. They kept saying it was authorized by the complex but obviously not at 3 am. The lady was extremely rude, and difficult over the phone, and in person. Refusing to give me documents I asked for and made up reasons why my car wouldn't have gotten towed "had they known"- I digress. Keep in mind, I just moved here from out of state, and was waiting on documents needed to update my tags (I have all of this proof as well) . Also this is 2 days before Christmas. They don't value people or hard working veteran trying to transition into the civilian world. If in need of towing, HIGHLY recommend ANY OTHER COMPANY!

Tucker (116337 call number) was amazing ! i broke down in a difficult spot and he lined up the rig perfectly first try. got me out in seconds. a real nice guy. we stayed warm in his beautiful wrecker and after dropping off the truck he gave me a ride home. he turned a terrible night into a pleasant experience. thanks so much !!

Today (12/16/25) at 12:30pm in Delaware, OH. on Rt. 23 there was a Capital Towing straight truck being driven by a young female. She was road raging and blowing her horn non stop at about a 90 year old lady for no reason because traffic was stopped. It was no ones fault but she just kept blowing her horn and flicking the driver In front of her off. She was driving like a maniac!! Really made me mad. Absolutely uncalled for.

They have horrible customer service, make sure every charge/fee is explained to you so you arent over charged. Make sure youre released the right car and not like me where they give you someone elses car. If there is any confusion ask to speak to the manager, she's the only one who actually has a say so .. the people in the front literally are only good for typing those ppl are the front runners of giving out false information their so confident about it. be sure to have all your documentation together.

Hands down the best towing company in Columbus. They can handle everything from the big to the small. I use them to tow the trucks for our business and they help us move tanks all around the city. This company has a lot to offer. If you need something, give them some business. If you are looking into working for them, I would find it hard to believe there is a better company around to work for.
