My one & only place to get my car fixed. I've brought my car here a few times & the prices & staff are amazing & honest. Renee always takes care of me!

Good shop, they have let me bring my own parts and just charged for labor. I have been going to them for over a decade. They don't do body work. I was laughed at by them for bringing my car that had bad body damage to fenders telling me it was totaled, but I ended up fixing the fender myself with one I picked from a junkyard for $60. It was my own fault for trying to get them to fix body work that was outside their wheelhouse, since they don't advertise doing body work. Highly recommend for mechanical fixes.

My truck was repaired and put back on the road. Far quicker and less expensive than I expected. I would recommend this shop to others

someone hit my sideview mirror and its been broken for awhile. came across this shop and they sounded honest over the phone and was able to get it replaced quickly. also got some puppy love while i was waiting.

Really thankful for this shop! Honest, quick, and affordable. I liked that I could send an appointment request via the website because I can’t always be on the phone during my work day. Told me what services were actually needed after another shop tried to tell me I needed a bunch of additional work… and they got the work done in just a few hours. I will be back to this shop whenever I need more car repairs.

One difficult thing about moving to a new area is finding a mechanic you can trust, but I can now check that off my list of things to do. I can't say enough good things about Renee and the team at Avenue Auto. I brought in both of my cars for different jobs and each time the jobs were done quickly and at a reasonable price. As long as I'm living in Columbus, I will be bringing my cars to Avenue Auto, they're the best I've ever worked with.

Renee and the team are great. They are professional, knowledgeable, timely, and very reasonably priced. As a small business, they have saved me a couple of times with expedited repairs to keep me moving.

The folks at Avenue were awesome. I woke up to a vehicle with ignition problems, and really needed to get the repair done same day. Despite being really busy, they fit me in and got me out in 4 hours. They were very helpful, and pleasant to deal with. The price was very reasonable. I drive an old car that's going to need lots more repairs, I'm sure. I'll be taking it back to Avenue Auto Repair.

Last week my daughter was traveling through Ohio when her car broke down. The best I could do was Google and hope to find a good garage. I found the right people. Dean and Renee are incredible. Renee connected us with a great wrecker service, Hounddog’s towing. Renee even drove my daughter to get a rental car so she could continue her trip. Dean worked over the weekend to get my daughter’s car fixed. I highly recommend Avenue auto repair. They could have taken advantage of our situation, but the repair costs were very reasonable. You can trust Avenue auto. They took care of my daughter as she were their own. Thank you Renee & Dean

Renee was fantastic to work with and very friendly! Professional service at a very fair price. Took my car in on Tuesday to get an engine replaced and it was done by Friday. I was very impressed and will always recommend Avenue Auto Repair.

Took my car in to replace the wheel bearing. I called several shops for quotes and Avenue Auto Repair had best price. Renee was nice and helpful. Car was done in a few hours. You will have to figure out how to get to and from the shop while your car gets serviced. I'll update if I have any issues with my new part.

My husband and I use this business whenever we have an issue with one of our vehicles. We use Avenue Auto Repair for regular routine issues such as brake work, oil changes etc. and for any mjor issues that may arise. We have always been satisfied with their professionalism and workmanship and have been going here for years. If for some reason you have any questions or issues about work that has been done by their shop they will work with the customer to make sure everything is right. My daughter and son and law also take their vehicles to Avenue to get work done.

Wonderful service, immediately diagnosed the issue and set everything up stress-free. Staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel like my car was in the right hands the entire time. Also the cute cat at the front is a huge bonus!

Friendly, no-nonsense service. Engine light started flashing while on a long trip to Columbus. Renee found a spot for us in the schedule an hour before the shop closed, checked the problem out and made sure my van would get me home in one piece.

Truly the best mechanic I've ever had. I've recommended them to family and friends, and I've never done that with any other mechanic. Price is always fair. Work is always quick or at least consistent with their estimated time frame. A+.

have been to many auto repair shops over the years. I have never been treated as well as I have at Avenue Auto Repair. Renee got me scheduled in immediately and they diagnosed and fixed the issues in one day at a great price. I will be taking all of my auto needs to Avenue Auto repair as I trust that they will fix what needs to be fixed and not try to find things that aren't wrong. Excellent service at an excellent price. We were traveling long distance through the area to visit family when our car broke down. It was right before New Year's weekend and late in the afternoon. The people at Avenue Auto agreed to help us and tackled a big job on New Year's Eve. Everyone there was kind, helpful, professional and knowledgeable! We were blessed to have found them, and they did a great job on our car repair!!! The people in the Bexley/Columbus area are very fortunate to have Avenue Auto Repair!

My Dad recommended this shop to me. I dropped off in the evening, and my car got complete brake job done by the afternoon the next day. That's speedy fast. Thanks to the Mechanic/Owner. I'm sure the brakes will do well. I would have liked to get a tire rod replaced by you, however the front desk lady Renee' informed me I should do business elsewhere, so I will. This lady is so rude and unprofessional. She upset me n I upset her over the issue I had with the price quote. I'm an Army Veteran served 30+ years and simply did not want to get taken. She did do the right thing with the cost either because of you or she finally spoke to who I spoke to, nonetheless she was so nasty to me. I can't be the first customer to have gotten this problem with her. Arguing with a $$$ customer is a no no. I'm a professional so I like to stay in that matter. But she raise her voice, I rose my voice, then i just said alright and thought to myself I won't forget altercation. Customer service and quality work make a business. You would have received 5 stars from me had I not had that awful experience with your front desk person. Please talk to her, I believe u do good work. I just thought you should know what she is doing at the front desk n over the phone. She is taking the liberty of running your business a bit much when she tells me, a $$$ paying customer they are no longer welcome and the dealership should be lowest on whatever future repair stick with them. While she is in the office, I will do just that😕

We have been using these folks for a couple years now and couldn't be happier! We searched for a fair and honest mechanic for years before we found them and were very relieved when we did. These guys are honest with you, never try to BS you for more money, and will do whatever they can to help you save money on your needed repairs. Renee at the front desk has even spent her time to help us find the best places to buy our last two cars, just as a favor. Will always recommend this place to anyone in the area who is looking for a good, trustworthy mechanic.

I heard about this place through a friend. I needed brakes and rotors and every place I called was really expensive. Avenue Auto Repair came in way less than the dealership. The staff was friendly and didn’t try to take advantage, which is hard to find these days. I would HIGHLY recommend this place if you want good, honest work at a great price.

Renewed my faith in humanity. This place was fast, courteous and so reasonably priced I dont know how they stay in business. If you take your car to a mechanic, I wouldn't take it anywhere other than Avenue. Period. Tow truck said an hour, was there in 20 minutes. Better than the best

I had a GREAT experience here! I needed to get a broken bolt off my license plate removed/replaced and they were able to do that! Customer service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this auto repair to anyone! They gained a loyal customer, thank you so much for your hospitality and service!

Can not recommend a better shop - An honest shop that always looks out for the customer. As a young, single woman I value being respected as a customer, especially in an area where I have no experience or prior knowledge to guide my purchase decisions. Avenue Auto Repair gives me an honest and thorough assessment every time I take my car in. The cost for their services is always competitive. I will drive/tow any car I own to this shop for as long as I live in Columbus.

I first meet the owner Dean about 10 years ago when he had a garage on the south side of Columbus off Parsons Avenue. I had an estimate from Firestone for over $1500. His estimate was just over $400 and the car ran amazing. Ever since then, I have always taken my car up to him because he is fair and his prices are the best in the city. I don't trust any mechanic except for Dean. Try this garage and you will know what I mean!
