We had the best experience buying a vehicle. Jamal was a great salesman. The whole staff was great. The buying of a new/used vehicle was excellent from checking out the vehicle, to getting financing, to finishing paperwork. That was completed by a professional,courteous, and just down to earth by Val.

My experiences at Germain Subaru and financing my first car in over 15 years has been the best it could have possibly been and deserves a special shout out to the salesperson, David Romeo and their finance manager Val who, NOT ONCE made me feel pressured to buy when I looked at a specific model I had shown interest in. David was an excellent listener and patient when I asked him about the 2023 Subaru Crosstrek I came in for. He asked what I wanted in a newer car, the specific features, financing options, he answered all of my questions about the car, and found answers for me when he didnt know. The next day when I wanted to take another test drive with my partner, he remained professional, patient and answered my partners' questions. That experience was a major contributing factor in my decision to buy it. Then came the next part: Talking about final price and financing. Val was very helpful and communicative when it came to the process of applying for financing and signing the paperwork. When explaining extra warranties, payment options and loan terms, she was very transparent about the small details. Like David, she answered my partners' questions as well as mine, when I asked for clarification, she provided excellent examples and breakdowns of what individual terms and conditions meant. She even listened to the story behind my general dislike of car dealership experiences and with salespeople. A car shopping and buying process shouldn't be stressful and terrible. My past experiences with other dealerships have been so negative that I had vowed never to finance a car from a dealership ever again. Until now. My car buying experience at Germain Subaru was different. Working with David and Val has significantly begun to change my previous opinions of the car buying experience and I feel confident that I got a fair deal in purchasing my first Subaru Crosstrek and love my new car.

I bought a used (but almost new) 2025 Subaru Legacy from Germain Subaru of Columbus. Leo was very helpful when he spoke with my dad over the phone, who called in advance and inquired about the car, but my dad didn’t realize I already spoke with David Romeo, so David Romeo was the one who helped me. This guy is awesome! Very knowledgeable, patient, and easy to work with. When I had questions a few weeks after buying the car, he helped me set up my remote start via the MySubaru app. I also had a question about the window and he confirmed it was working properly. If you’re going to buy a car, go see David Romeo. He might even let you take his Lexus RC500 for a spin, which was very fun to drive. Overall great experience at this place, and I appreciate the extra mile David went to make sure I was and am happy!

If I could give 10 stars, I would. From start to finish, my experience with Germain Subaru was outstanding. Aaron was personable, transparent, and incredible throughout the entire process. His customer service alone is why I drove four hours to purchase my vehicle. When I arrived, everything went smoothly. I had an issue with my rental car (not the dealership’s fault), and Aaron went above and beyond by following me to the airport to make sure I could return it without issues. That level of service is unheard of. Matt in Finance was equally great thorough, professional, and made everything easy to understand. To top it all off, the car had a full tank of gas, which was the perfect finishing touch. I would gladly drive four hours again just to work with this team. Thank you, Germain Subaru, Aaron, and Matt, for an exceptional experience.

Best car buying experience ever. David “Dave” Steele was amazing. He was a fountain of information, knowledgeable, kind, patient & overall a great person. I didn’t feel pressured to make a decision, I felt informed every step of the way, I was encouraged to ask questions & wasn’t rushed. He was open to exploring every option I wanted to look at both in driving & cost assessment. When I purchased my car, he helped move my things, gave a complete review of how the car features functioned & even filled up the tank. To say the least, I was impressed & very satisfied with the service. I definitely would recommend going here, especially for Dave. They now have a long term customer with their approach to customer service & level of detail to ensure the customer is well taken care of. Shout out to Kelly & Matt too, they were very supportive & great as well.

Even though we were there on one of the coldest and windiest days of December our salesman, Michael, was wonderful & suggested we try a Subaru Outback as we were going out for a test drive in the used Honda CRV that had brought us into Germain. We purchased the Outback (such a better drive than the Honda). Michael was very knowledgeable about all of the Outback's features & safety and showed us how to navigate the infotainment system. Matthew was also helpful in making the finance side go quickly. Our entire buying experience with Germain Subaru was excellent! I'll definitely be back if we need to purchase another vehicle.

I had a really solid experience with Dave at Germain Subaru buying a used Outback. I went in with the numbers I had researched, and they did the deal. After some feelings of getting the run around other places, this was refreshing. I love my car, and feel like my deal was super fair. It was my first car deal w/o a man involved on my behalf, to be honest. Recommend :).

David Steele was absolutely fabulous to deal with. From the time we walked into the dealership we felt listened too and respected. David willingly answered and resolved any questions and/or problems we had. We purchased an excellent pre-owned Highlander 4x4 that was in pristine condition at a fair market price. The paperwork was an easy process and we have already received our title to our recent purchase. We would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new or pre-owned well condition vehicle. I would especially ask to deal with David Steele.

Set up appointment online. First impression of dealership - clean and welcoming. Was waited on promptly, Aaron was assigned to me. He was professional and friendly and never ever pushy. My requests were honored. Everything happened timely and in organized manner. The attached service area was warm, comfortable chairs and good beverages. Bathroom was clean. Love my new Subaru Forester.

I have to say this is probably the best new vehicle buying experience that I’ve had. Of course I did lots of research and narrowed it down to two vehicles which were available quickly for me to test drive and choose from. I already knew what I wanted to do for extended warranty and other such things. Absolutely no pressure to do anything different than what I told them I wanted. The rest of the time was simply getting the paperwork all in order and off I went. All of the staff were very professional and handled everything quickly. By the time I left, I had no outstanding questions on anything and had been shown all the features of the vehicle. Hats off to having a Marine as the finance officer.

I saw a 23 GTI online. I was able to go over there (30min before closing) and started to work with Clay. He was super nice and considerate considering it was almost closing time. On Monday, I spoke with Morgan and she was extremely helpful about getting the paperwork process started and making sure I had the best deal possible. She then got me back in touch with Clay to finish to process. He was patient as I worked the number and ultimately bought the vehicle. Such a great experience. To finish it up, Matthew in accounting was friendly as my daughter played with toys on his desk. Next day, I received texts from Clay and Morgan both congratulating me again on my purchase and made sure that I was happy with everything and that I didn’t have any additional questions. Hands down the best service I have ever gotten when buying a car (even with it being used).

Clay was very knowledgeable about the different cars we were interested in and very professional as well. The GM Rich personally reached out to me on his day off to reassure me that my car would be delivered a lot sooner than expected. My new Subaru ascent was better than originally expected was very clean and I’m very happy with my purchase.
