They are really the best people ever

So, they ask you to leave a review as soon as you get the car but I had to drop to one star. The car stalled on us 2 days later and had NO transmission fluid. Sensors were busted and we had to replace them in less than 48 hours. Steering cv joints also busted and the transmission is slipping now. He sold me a complete lemon. I accidentally took his license plate used to test drive the car. He kept saying he was coming by to pick it up but then wouldn’t show. Making us wait around at home all day for days. I asked him to bring transmission fluid when he came but of course he didn’t. My biggest annoyance is his lack of conscious about the safety of his buyers. Wasted all of the money I had saved and now I have to put more money into fixing the car than I bought it for. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. They do not care if they cause potential accidents. I’m supposed to pick up my title in 30 days but I can’t even GET THERE CAUSE THE DAMN CAR DOESNT WORK!!!!

I bought my car from D&D Motors in February (2013 Nissan Versa). Initially they seem a bit short and cold, but once they know you’re serious about buying, they become very nice and make lots of jokes with you. I have 2 complaints about this car lot’s owner: 1. I had a trip to Chicago planned the weekend after I bought the car. After leaving the lot, I called D and asked him he thought my car would be good to drive from Ohio to Illinois. He was very adamant that the car was perfectly fine to drive out of state. However, my gut told me to take it to my shop for a “long-trip check up”. Come to find out, I needed new tires, wheel bearings, rotors, and front breaks. At total of almost $800 out of pocket. If I would have taken his word, who knows what could’ve happened while driving to Illinois! 2. Whatever you do, READ ALL FINE PRINT AND FEES BEFORE SIGNING. D will go to the BMV and get your title transferred for you. He charged me $447.50 for tax, title and temp tags. However, I called the title department and asked them how much he paid to transfer my title(including tax) and I was told he only had to pay $275.50. When I ask him about this, he pulled out my signed agreement which showed a $150 “Document Service Charge”. He says that this fee is in place because the dealership has to transfer the title twice(once when they buy a car from the auction and again for the customer who buys it from them). THIS IS A MADE UP FEE! This is not charged by the BMV. Customers should not be charged for the PREVIOUS title transfer. I am leaving this review because I signed the paperwork too fast and missed the extra unnecessary fee. Hopefully others won’t make the same mistake.

Place is a junk yard looked at a black Silverado poured out white smoke. From the exhaust mice made a nice little home in there under the seats white Colorado had oil all around the block where the valve covers are. Didn’t even start it and the black Tahoe was knocking like rent a center at your front door

If I could give them 0 stars I would , my wife purchased a 2013 Nissan rogue , and 5 days later she was stranded. They sold us a car that had no serpentine belt on it , then got very confrontational when we wanted it replaced. Before they sold her the car the owner asked “how far do you live “ and “ if you have any concerns we know the car bring it us “ I should’ve know that was a red flag Now the car has total engine failure 5 months later after purchasing and they are washing their hands of the situation. Please go to another dealer. Please learn from our mistakes .

If I could give 10 stars I would. Honest mechanic, fair prices, and timely. They fix what is wrong and not trying to scam. If you want your vehicle fixed properly and timely this is a great neighborhood mechanic. I like my car but not those ridiculous dealer prices.
