I called to schedule an appointment to check on the transmission of my car and potentially do a drain and fill. I spoke with two different people who confirmed my appointment was booked earlier this week. One person said it was necessary to drop off my car the night before so they can start working on it immediately in the morning.
The following day, I did not hear anything so I called around 2 o clock to check on the progress. When I called, the lady sounded very nonchalant and said she had no idea whose car was parked in front of the main door. I felt the lack of customer service and incompetence would be enough for me not to return and to make this post so other customers are aware of this poor experience.
Zero stars. Nuff said.

Amazingly honest mechanics! I cannot recommend them strongly enough.
Had my '07 Odyssey's transmission rebuilt by them ~3 years/36k miles ago. Real easy to work with, good prices, excellent work. Took it back last week because I thought there might be another problem.
Instead of trying to trick me into unnecessary repairs, they assured me my transmission was fine and gave me info on what was actually wrong and how to fix it. Transmission is running steady and they were spot-on with what was wrong.
Oh, and the diagnostic is free!
They really go above and beyond on their customer service. Highly recommended!

My transmission broke as I was passing through Ohio. I had to continue on to work. They got me squared away and back on the road. Great customer service and great work!!
They did horrible service on my son's vehicle. They didn't tighten the bolts on front end and used a bolt that was to big with lock tight and while my son was driving the ball joint broke off the car. Thankfully my son was ok and my grandkids were not in the car at the time. I would not recommend them due to safety issues with the way they fix their vehicles. If you value your life don't use them if you don't value your life go ahead and use them.
I give central Ohio transmission. 100 stars they are just wonderful. Sam in the office kept me updated every bit with my car and working with the warranty company. I am not from Ohio as I was traveling back from Tennessee to Pennsylvania. My car broke down haven’t even had it six months. The transmission went out. They were recommended by a shop that I had took it To find out what was even wrong. You need transmission work. I highly highly recommend going to central Ohio transmission.. Thank you, Sam all the mechanics. I’m excited to get my car back.
Outstanding company. Samantha was AMAZING!!!!!! So helpful, her communication was the best ever! She worked with my warranty company to get my truck taken care of with no hassles. The turn around time was very good. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received.

Between the transmission in my truck and the 4 or 5 transmissions my boss had done here all of them and I do mean all have needed either a totally rebuilt or a whole new one put in and now my sister had her car done there about 1 month ago and today I got under her car and now there is more transmission fluid flowing out then Niagara Falls
We took our Subaru Tribeca there for a transmission code. They spent a good bit of time driving it to see if it was acting funny and it wasn't so they returned it to us without charging us anything! I really appreciate that honesty! They could have easily found some things to charge us for but they didn't! If I ever need transmission work again, I'll be back!
I dropped my transmission off for service and waited for 2 months. Not once did I receive but a single phone call updating me on the status of my transmission. when I called on my own asking for an update I was told every single time that “it will be done next week” or “it will be finished tomorrow” and every time it was not. I understand if things happen but I would have liked to revive a phone call at the bare minimum explaining the situation. To top things off, after those 2 months I was told that my transmission could not be serviced because the right tools were not on hand. The transmission is the last piece of the puzzle I need to drop the engine in my car, and now I am delayed after 2 months. I will not be returning here for my other builds or referring anyone I know here. Best of luck to central Ohio transmission.
Very professional had my car done the very next day, ask them to check on some wheel bearings which they did do also. To let me know which one they thought it was. Just a great place to go the price is right and the job was done in a timely and the excellent manner
Staff is very nice Eugene seems to be very knowledgeable the owner just pick the truck up tonight start driving it before I take it on vacation will see how the transmission holds up full rebuild 02 Ford Ranger let everyone know later how it goes
I went to them on July 14 2020 to have my 05 Pontiac G6 transmission repair. I had the shift solenoids 1 and 2 replace and 3 & 4 as well. And these guys went ahead and replace them they didn't argue with me or told me I need a new transmission they just went with good faith and I told him the exact code to my problem. I know it's only been a day but my car drives like a brand new car and I can't believe it. It was just a few sensors in the transmission. I have seen Pontiac G6 with all in the junkyard with the same little problem and people just throw them away for this problem??..... but these guys are the best they gave me a great deal 100% of the best customer service I've ever seen and they told me that will have it done the same day that I dropped it off so yeah these guys definitely get my business.

I have had a car back to them four times after 2000.00 transmission job. Leaks and leaks and leaks, wrong gasket put it once. Parts come from down the road. Who knows what the condition is.
Unbelievable and has costs me rental costs, i have lost work so much. They are nice and they keep fixing leaks but jesus god wow!!! I wish i had never stepped foot in this place.
Ms. TURNER. i need a lawyer and someone who knows how to do the work properly. I think their motto is keep band aiding until the warranty runs out.
Middle of a road trip, a thousand miles from home (okay, 966 miles) and my transmission dies. The amazing folks at Central Ohio Transmissions rebuilt my transmission THE SAME DAY, so I could get back on the road and make it home.

I called to get a quote for a new transmission and got great customer service. They even called to get my VIN # for me since I did not have it. Their quote was the lowest, I found out I was still covered under warranty otherwise they would have gotten my business. I recommend them to anyone!
