Not even sure if this is a business anymore. Made an appointment on their website TWICE for a television pickup months apart with no response after many attempts to call and leave a message and text.
It’s a great company to do business with they made it easy for me to get rid of my electronics that was just collecting dust with no hassle and they have great customer service!
Similar to what another person already stated, I made an appointment that was confirmed and then they reached out asking what I was recycling via text message. I responded within about 10 minutes and then they ghosted me. I texted back if the item (a 50 inch TV) was ok to be recycled for their pickup service and they just never responded. I got text and email reminders close to the time but no one contacted me ever after that initial text over a week prior.
I went here to recycle my Xbox 360 thinking this was going to be like one of the bad shops that recycle because I been to a different one before and it just had bad customer service and they was just rude overall so I came in here with low expectations but when I got to the front someone by the name Chris helped me with recycle my stuff and because i thought that recycling here would be the same but it wasn’t he did a nice job with recycling it and he was helpful but from that I recommend going here if you have to recycle something the staff are kind and helpful.
I scheduled an appointment for pickup and they reached out to ask about what I was recycling. I let them know the various items I was recycling (old laptops, TV, monitor, etc), and then they asked for pictures. I provided pictures and then they ghosted me and didn't show up for the appointment to pick up the items.
At the very least it would have been nice to receive a notification they wouldn't accept the items or they couldn't make the appointment.
Just leaving this review so people know this is a possibility when doing business with Stark Electronics.
Their website makes no mention that this location is just a mailing address. After trying to call them twice with no answer, I showed up at their location during their open hours just to have a receptionist in a shared workspace refer me to a different electronics recycler. So if you want to drop off your electronics without having to jump through the hoop of scheduling a pickup, I guess save your time and just go straight to Accurate IT Services.
Zach was super helpful, showed up within a day of reaching out. Their box truck was in use but he was able to fit every single thing of ours in his personal car. Waiting for certificates of data destruction, but I trust it will get done soon. Free pickup too!
We asked this company to come pick up our electronics and they were extremely professional, courteous, and prompt. We really appreciate what they are doing to keep electronics out of landfills. Thank you and keep up the good work.
I recently started collecting old computers and had some projects I needed to finish. Was met with excellent customer service and help finding what I needed. Will be going back in the future!
