I had a salt spreader controller issue on a brand new salt dogg setup. They didn’t just hand me the part, they said pull around and let’s make sure it works before you leave. Long story short high quality parts and service. Everyone that works there works like a team and it shows. I have no affiliation or relationship to anyone at this business.

Very Rude guy on sales desk. Bought $350 thing and asked him a favour to printout one paper work and he told me they don't that kind of business. That guy don't think customer need to come back

Great place to get parts and supplies for all your Simi Truck needs. If they don't have it they can order it and have it for you the next day. That's my experience with Principal Truck Supply.

Principal part store is a good place for any truck owner to go and pick mid quality part. They have wide section of every thing. I bought my truck shoes from here the service was good and helpful. The only thing I want to mention is about the cashier. She was not in a good mood like the gentleman behind the counter. Any way you could try truck pro on Franklin Rd if you can’t find all the parts here..

Parts people are very informative. Prices are abit higher then certain places for items but generally they have alot of parts for most trucks running on road today. Only critique is the road they are based on needs work.

Bought a seat. Once I went to install the seat I found out it was a defective seat that won't lock in position. Came back to principal to fix the problem a day later was told they won't take it back or exchange it for me. Bad business will never shop here again. I suggest you stay away from this as much as you can.

Honestly they're good for selling defective products and not accepting returns. They lost a local owner operator for life. They deserve a no star rating, not to mention they act fairly prejudiced to me.

Dedicated Principal Truck customer for years. I'm not a big spender (maybe $3,000 year) definitely not keeping them in business but will not continue our relationship. I only own two semi trucks but all my parts came from Principal. The parts guys & gal are always busy but very helpful and knowledgable. After your parts are pulled the checkout process is tedious but I dealt with that without incident for years. Today on my very busy Saturday morning I made the 60 minute drive down to principal to get air filters, oil filters, fuel filters, coolant filters, p/s filters, desiccant filters, oil, & additives for my two trucks. All this rang up to $600. I had 3 exhaust parts that I previously purchased (off the regular inventory shelves, nothing special order or etc.) they were the wrong parts, never tried to be installed, in the original boxes & in the same condition they were in when I purchased them. The owner walked over (John I believe) and said sorry I won't take those back. He told me there return policy was 60 days. I explained to the owner that I understood the policy however as he could see these were regular stock items in the condition they were sold to me in & asked him for some leniency due to the fact that I live an hour away and I am a dedicated customer to his store. He looked them up and scanned them into his system "sorry those items don't sell well, I'm not taking them. This policy is for all customers" Then he just walked away and I never saw him again. Presumably his wife, which is always rude and short to others when I've been in there ( never to me previously) walked over and I said "Ma'am, I have $600 in parts here. I would like the decency to discuss this a bit further, I'm a business owner and work hard to satisfy my customers. I believe this is unjust and based on Principal alone cannot accept the answer I was given" The lady responded with "he's heard enough, his decision is final" Unfortunately they disrespected me as a loyal customer. I have never given them anything less than all my business regarding my trucks. Im a fair and loyal guy, I typically never say boo but I'm a principal (pun intended, ironically) man. Once that line is crossed I need to consider the relationship. I was very honest and polite with these folks and even apologized that I would no longer do business with them. I really enjoy having good solid relationships with local businesses. It's getting difficult to keep your money in local shops. This company is playing dangerously, once they forget why they are successful they will sink like a rock. It's there loyal customers who afford them the success they've found. Anyone can sell wholesale truck parts, finding a good locally owned business with good customer service is a little different. I'm giving them two stars for the simple fact that they have a good selection. They didn't sell me bad parts or anything dishonest.

Pathetic.where should we start? how about 8 years ago when I started going to principle truck supply. the very first time I walked in this place I loved it. lots of parts, tools, lights, snow plows, etc. what man would not like principal truck. first impressions can only be made once and luckily the glam or presentation hooked me in the lip. however, I will never forget my first taste of principle trucks customer service. if you want to feel unappreciated, worthless, this is the place for you. anyone who has gone to principle truck knows all to well that you are looked down on, treated like a lesser person, and I have even seen them stereotype individuals. this happened just today when I went in to get parts,. you see, I delt with this for 8 years up until today March 12 2016 . your probuallly wondering " why would you keep coming g back for 8 years if you get disrespected"? good question. idk. I was tolerant. we all get that way over time but today I drew the last straw of tolerance. here is the real meat to story. my son and I decide to make a 30 minute trip to principle truck today. I tell him, " hey son, I need your help choosing new l.e.d. lights for our new truck." I try to make this a big deal for him to pick out lights because he knows it is going on a special truck of mine. kind of a big deal to him, and me, he is only 6 years old. we make it to the store and of course my son is super excited to find new lights for our rig. he does what any kid would do by testing all the lights to see which ones he likes. not a big deal right, Wrong!!! everything is all well until I get a mini lecture from the kind lady who takes your money behind the counter. I am told to keep my child in check because he is testing out lights that are on display for you to look at. Hello, thats what their there for. I forgot to read the " keep your kid in check policy" when I walked in the door. why is this a big deal? it a big deal for a couple of reasons. here is #1. I ask the guy sitting g behind 5 computer screens for help. he tries to dodge me like " you can't see me behind all these screens". I can see you behind their, I just need some help. oh wait, that is principle truck policy to offer terrible service. now Mr 5 computer screen guy is bothered by my persistence with a tricky question. a tricky question which would have saved me $50. so now he is all irritated and finds a way to implement " keep your kid in check policy" . he can't do this himself though. he has to send nice money collector lady to do the dirty work for him. wth. say it to my face man. what is my kid doing that is wrong, he is turning light switchs on and off. that was the main reason to co.e to the store. I still can't figure what the problem was. here is the other reason why why I am bothered by this situation. I have now read the other reviews for principle truck and another father mentioned he had the same issue at principle truck supply. inocent children being disrespected. that is low. that is so low that i will not be bringin any more business to that store. never ever again. I will also recommended other people to go elsewhere. today was a bad day for principle truck, myself, and my son. today, my son was excited to make an important decision for his father. a small decision was to be made, but an important one for a 6 year old little boy. all he wanted to do was find which lights would be best for dad's new truck. however that one simple important decision could not be made because I would not allow my hard earned money to be spent with a company with no respect for children. as we left the store empty handed and drove home, I had to explain an important lesson of appreciation. as a child I remember my love for trucks. I still love trucks to this day. I hope this bad experience with my son does not cause a long term love loss. i hope these bad experiences do not recignate with other families. i hope principle truck can fix their problems, " great spirits have always encountered violent opposition from mediocre minds" -Albert Einstein

Great place, im a trucker went in my bicycle from the Pilot truck stop to check it out n see if I can find parts for the KW T700 I drive n the guy was pretty helpful got couple of stuff for an air leak problem, its good to see this kind of places where everything is well organized n cleaned

Last week treated good helped by staff this week treated extremely bad by apparently the owner who told me and my 3 year old son who loves trucks to leave because he wouldn't make enough money off me to pay the lawsuit if my kid got hurt . LOST A NEW ACCOUNT TODAY. HAVE A NICE DAY !!!
