I go there all the time and like it the most out of all the other places I've been I've gotten to know the employees pretty well and they are always real friendly. Would recommend to anyone I know to deal with them. Things are priced really good theirs always different things priced higher and some lower than others but it's that way everywhere
I love this scrap yard, it's my favorite one to go to! The two guys there that run it are awesome. Plus, this one pays the most on each type of metal, you get more money here than anywhere else! And, it's inside of a building so you don't have to go through a bunch of mud, broken material; worrying about getting flat tires and/or nails in your tires or anything like that! It's very clean and organized and easy to unload your metal! Plus, they'll help you if you need it. I'd recommend that you go here to recycle your metals!
**BEWARE**Not an honest place to do business with. Our company has been doing more demolition work so I decided to recycle any materials I can vs taking it to the land fill. I tried I H Schleznger for the 1st time today. Atleast the guys were nice while classifying the metals less than what should have been. When I asked him about it he told me the aluminum was not PURE & the copper not CLEAN. NOT true, the aluminum was from welding oxygen bottles with the tops removed & the bottles cut in half & the copper was from waterline. When I explained this to him he told me that's how they do it at Parson's & that I should have went to Joyce Ave. Really??? Sad to grow up Southside but to be treated honestly by I H Schlezinger Inc. I have to travel to Northend. Rant over

I wouldn't even give them a one star but I had to give a rating to leave a comment! I arrived at 4:40pm and drove through rush hour traffic to recycle some cans after work from Grove City so I could give the money to my 10 year old brother whom I promised if he would recycle them, he could have it. The man looked through the glass and clearly saw me and then waited until 444 to walk out and say that they were closed! Then proceeded to try and argue that they closed at 4:30 which it clearly says 445! I don't like lazy shady people and to me he was just that!!! Sad part is I didn't even have much😡😡 Karma is a you know what and I'm sure he will get his bc I'm a good person and did nothing to deserve to be treated that way! And to be it all he thought it was funny! We will see how funny it is when I contact his supervisor tomorrow!
