Woody's was called by UA Police responding to an incident in my yard 1/1/2026. Illegal driver in a vehicle not their own plowed through two yards, destroying mailbox and driving OVER a 1-ton rock. Vehicle debris and fluids were everywhere. I was very impressed by how Woody's took the time to sweep the street, put down oil-dry, collect all the debris (from yards as well as street)...and even nudge the rock back into place. Thorough and professional!

Unfortunately, we’ve had to use their services on 2 occasions while visiting Columbus. Highly recommend them for their speedy response time, professionalism, and best quote in the area.

My mother's car overheated and stalled on side of 270. Called Woody's Hilliard /Galloway location to pick up which they did in a very reasonable time. Their maintenance guy looked over the car and gave me a price to fix it which was very reasonable car is running again and all good. Everyone I dealt with had a great attitude and was very helpful. Just put them on emergency speed dial on my phone and you should too!!!!

Rude, Reckless, and Real Close to a Lawsuit Let me just say this: if shady business practices and zero customer service are your vibe, then congratulations—you’ve found your people. We were told our vehicle “wasn’t there.” Funny, because we physically saw it sitting right on their lot. Maybe they need glasses. Or a new excuse. But here’s the real kicker: when we finally got the car, the flatbed driver had already done a lovely bit of custom bodywork—aka, damaged the entire driver’s side and front light. Total cost? Over $850. Did anyone apologize? Nope. Just attitude. All caps, bold font, underlined: RUDE. We needed to jump the car, and instead of showing a shred of decency, a woman stormed out yelling at us to “get off the property.” Ma’am. Relax. You weren't in any kind of hurry to remove our car when you were making money off of holding it hostage. Honestly, the lack of professionalism is stunning. But here’s the thing—keep treating people like trash, and eventually, someone’s going to come with legal receipts. I hope you’ve got a good attorney on speed dial, because one of these days, you're going to mess with the wrong person, and it’s going to cost a lot more than $850. To anyone reading this: document everything, take pictures, and don’t let them bully you. Because this place? It’s not just rude—it’s reckless. And that catches up with you

Went to the franklin county fair and come to find out they are moving people's cars to other lots. Didn't bother telling anybody they were doing this and when I went to leave had to spend a extra hour trying to find my car that they just decided to move for no reason. I was parked with everyone else's cars so why the need to just move people's cars around.

Very good. Called for a lockout they gave me a quote to where there was no need to call anyone else. Dispatch informed me driver will be there in 30-45 min and the driver came within 10 minutes. Driver name is SHANE very nice very professional got me unlocked within minutes. Thank you woodys towing.

Google "predatory towing"... Their driver "J" is part of an insurance scam... do NOT use any tow yards they recommend. I was in an accident and soo rattled I listened to them since the city has a contract with them... almost cost me $8k. Thankfully my insurance company had my back.

I had the worst experience with this towing company. My car was towed at 5:15 PM, which was just 20 minutes away from the site. I arrived at 6:30 PM, only to find that the office was closed despite their website saying they operate 24/7. When I called, the woman who answered was incredibly rude, questioning if I had valid documents? I arrived with two other people, she let me in but told us that only I could go in because she "wasn't in the mood to deal with people." Inside, my car registration was on the towed car, and she wouldn’t let me take it from my car. She claimed she couldn’t go because she needed to stay to answer calls, even though the office was already closed? To make matters worse, she told me the price would go up $30 at midnight, and that the next morning the fee would increase from the original $260 to $290. When I asked her to call the boss, she did, but told me I had to wait outside while she spoke to him even though I explained to her I wanted to speak with him still she kicked me out. She also claimed that the timeline to retrieve personal items was only until 5:30 PM. It’s clear this company doesn’t care about customer service or fair pricing. They’re only interested in profiting off their customers, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Caught a flat tire on the side of 270 earlier this morning. Called around 8am and was quoted a price that I was okay with. Was told a driver will be to me in 30 minutes. I then waited around 1in half hours until a drive showed up around 9:40. Called multiple times in between and they had a new excuse every time I called. I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone.

Ben, the tow truck driver did a great job, quick and friendly. My wife's car died near Dayton. Just a little over 2 hours after I called her car was unloaded in our driveway in Hilliard. Very happy with that considering the travel distance. The tow wasn't exactly cheap, but was a very fair price considering the mileage between the two locations.

Terrible Experience! I coordinated for an 8:30am tow today at 7am. At 9am I inquired regarding the tow and was told they are attempting to find a tow. When I asked why a commitment was made to me that could not be fulfilled the dispatcher was nasty. I recognize that circumstances can change things but a lack of communication regarding a commitment followed up by a nasty experience was enough to have me write this review. Avoid this towing option if possible!

Really disappointed in service, I had called my own truck due to the time when cops arrived they had called woodys. My towing company had quoted me max 300 but most likely would be 200 to get out of the mud and cops even said their patrols could take out the car with the winch (which they didn’t due to me having to go to the station). They called woodys to pick up car and got hit with absurd 620 fees. And when I was surprised, they stated with attitude that it was almost flooded in mud, if a police vehicle with winch can take it out, I wouldn’t see how it would be a job for a 600+ charge. I’m not even sure if my car is worth the fees. Called in to see what could be done for the charges but says there is nothing to be done. Hope they cared for those with financial struggles and the community. At last, I’m just disappointed and saddened that I will most likely lose the car

Was in an accident? Was already feeling bad and lost a vehicle. Had another 2 truck company coming, but the officer said he could have Woody's towing. Come here and it would probably be cheaper. They ended up being a $150. More than the $406 I was quoted period I would not use Woody's towing. Because they are outrageous even though it wasn't going to be paid by insurance. They still charge me insurance rates and did not take into account that I was paying at a pocket. It doesn't matter to them period they are about the making money and screwing your local business small business. Owners

My daughter's car broke down in the turn lane of a busy intersection and a Woody's tow truck happened to be behind her. The driver was very friendly. He pulled around her, loaded her car on the flatbed, and moved it out of the intersection for no charge. My apologies to the call he was 10 minutes later for, but I am very grateful that he took a few minutes to move her to safety.

I am a car carrier. I delivered a car for reindeer to this Location. They are open 24 hours with the notice, the crew is super nice and friendly,experience was great. highly recommended..

$289 for an impounded vehicle?? cash only?? are the police getting kickbacks for this extortion? that is before the 29.99 per day btw. plus tax. why is there tax? is that for the sale of their souls? they also charge you for days they are closed. the idea that people voluntarily use this service is repulsive. seriously...if my car is taken from central and mound, why is it on Rome Hillard road? disgusting.

Friendly and efficient, staff was very helpful on the phone. Eric showed up right away and was very helpful and kind throughout. He was really wonderful during a stressful situation. I would definitely call again if a need arises. Thank you so much!

Driver was very friendly and very skilled. He had no issues loading my truck with half a control arm, and did so with great care. Hopefully I don't have to call them again, but if I do, I'll be calling Woody's.

It was a cheap option to get me and my daughter out of the cold. However, the driver of the flat bed damaged the wheel more when pulling it onto the bed. Instead of needing just a new control arm we now have to replace additional parts. Not to mention when he dropped it off he didn’t pull it all the way up the way we needed and instead left it in the middle of the drive way. He also scrapped the front bumper across the ground causing paint damage. Everything said and done, the driver was kinda rude and careless. I’m just glad we had away home that I could afford but it dug a slighter deeper hole in the long run. Called the office this morning, very polite and helpful on the phone. My guy came out there within an hour of me calling this morning and worked with me on everything. Car was stuck in a packed parking lot and unable to go into neutral and he worked and worked to get it out and get it loaded up and thats exactly what ended up happening. 10/10 service at an absolutely great price. People that provide services like this are rare in todays world. If I or anyone else needs anything towed I know who i’m calling.

My significant other's car had a flat, while onstar took two hours and never found a tow company we called Woody's and they arrived promptly. They were fast, courteous, and well priced. Use them!

Absolutely AMAZING experience! Rachel at the office was so polite and professional. She gave me real fair prices and time frames. Rachel said within 60- 90 minutes, that man was on the dot with time at 60 minutes. Speaking of him, let me introduce Fuzzy. Just let me tell y'all about Fuzzy. This man came in clutch! Helped me with my tire. Helped us put it on AND put air in it. Worth every. Single. Penny. He was SO professional, quick, informative and kind. Literally will shout this company through the roof. My car died at an intersection, and I contacted my insurance company's roadside assistance. I was told a tow truck would be there in 60 to 90 minutes. After 90 minutes in 8-degree weather, i called the tow company number to only get a non working voice mail 5 different times over a 30-minute span. I called Woodys, and they had a tow truck to me in 15 minutes. I highly recommend them! Very nice dispatcher and driver, Thank you so very much for your great service.

Eric was a fantastic driver. I deal with truck drivers everyday in my line of work, and it’s evident to me when I have a good one or bad one. He handled my 1 ton dually with ease and I was very impressed with his ability to unload it in a tight spot at the place he took it for repair. Also the price was reasonable, but I wouldn’t mind paying a little extra for the quality Eric provided.

Professional service!!! Called in for a tow to a repair shop. The person who answered the phone was pleasant and informative, dispatched Dalton the driver who was amazing and showed up promptly. Absolutely amazing experience!! We had been waiting for AAA for almost 4 hours. Called Woody’s and they had a tow truck to us within 45 minutes. The driver, Eric, was absolutely amazing as well. He was quick to get the car up and helped up get to the closest Tire Discounts store as well. Not to mention, he was super friendly too. We had an amazing experience, and will use this company again when in need.

The lady that works here is very rude & mean & talks down to u like shes better then you. Not friendly at all but the guy is more respectful & better to deal with Can someone please butter her rolls & give her some D....LADY U GOT NO SWAG!!
