I hadn't been in a while. Many older items for the home. Staff was nice

We were searching high and low for a specific backplate for our antique doorknobs. I reached out to the shop via email, and also called. Alyson was super quick to reply to my email and answer the phone. She broke up a set to ensure I was able to get a matching pair. All was said and done in under 5 minutes. Customer service like this is pretty rare today, in my experience. I really appreciate your time and kindness, Alyson. We are looking forward to our purchase, and will be coming back for our future project needs!

WOW this is a very unique store if you are into old school furniture and fixtures. We really liked this store!! Make sure you make a visit.

Cool place. Gerat staff. To me, the prices seem to be about average. I think a lot of times people fail to realize that they are buying local history. Which once its gone, it's gone. Not being from here, I still see the value in that. Hope that makes sense.

The prices are outrageous. It's a cool store, like a historic museum but I've since found a salvage store in Wilmington who charges 75% less than this one. These guys do a great job here of curating it but it's just not affordable or realistic.

treasure trove, so much fun. I also really appreciate that they have everything inventory online with sizes and details so that you can check ahead and see if they have what you need. They’re extremely friendly in there and have tape measures at the ready for you. It’s just really fun to walk around and see old interesting goodies, and also useful for an old house!

I have bought items from them a couple of times in restoring our Victorian home. Most recently, a very nicely facilitated purchase of window hardware off their website with precise measurements taken to ensure a perfect fit. They also threw in the screws necessary for installation of these vintage pieces. Above and beyond - thank you Alyson and team!

I love going to this place just to see what kinds of interesting things they might have. They have so many beautiful pieces like unusual lighting, beautiful old doors and fireplace mantles. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. Go check it out and enjoy!

What a fun and funky place! We stopped in to get some door pulls for our pocket doors in our 1890s home, and had a long, interesting discussion about doors and door pulls and locks and keys. The woman we worked with was super informative and very nice. And then we wandered around! So many fabulous things, I couldn't capture half of them. A full bar, giant doors, the biggest round window I've ever seen! More than 2 or 3 of me, I think, I'm 5 ft 4 in. They have a great website, too, check them out and go visit!

Amazing shop!! Very clean and the highest quality items with great prices. We were able to source a vintage American Standard lowboy toilet in mint condition for our 1939 home. If you live in the Detroit or Toledo area, it’s definitely worth the drive.

This place always has the things I’m looking for to repair features of our older historic home! The staff are very helpful in finding some of the unique pieces from small hardware to larger wood frames and vanities. There are lots of great options for someone looking to add artistic touches and character to their home.

To offset a couple of the negative reviews I would note that today was our first visit. To be honest, some prices are high, but the service was excellent. The objects for sale are clean and easy to examine. A great resource for anyone doing restoration.

Came across this place by accident while I was on a bike ride. Seen their sign and was intrigued, so we decided to go in and check it out. They have so much antique stuff for houses. From the tools to the hardware and everything in between. We were there for about an hour or more and still didn't get to see all the cool stuff they have. We will definitely be going back.

If you love old buildings and antiques, it's a must - visit. Staff: friendly and helpful Prices: most items are out of my price range, but I'm not a professional in the antique business so I don't know if they're fair. Selection: excellent. You want an antique door/tub/sink/light/fireplace/staircase and they've probably got it. Overall: They're doing good work preserving history and keeping material out of landfills! Thanks all.

This place is a must see if you enjoy vintage architecture salvage! Beautiful displays and items. Bought vintage corbels & hardware. Great price! Call before you go. Since the pandemic it's by appointment. Not sure if it has changed.

This is the best place that we have found to buy architectural pieces and fences to fit an historic renovation. The store is well laid out and neat, making it easy to find what one is looking for. Their inventory is terrific. Molly and her husband are a joy to work with. They are most pleasant and and have worked to help find the exact pieces that we have been looking for. I can't recommend Columbus Architectural Salvage more.

Found what we were looking for. Prices are fair, but on the high side. Will definitely visit again.

What a amazing place! Incredible finds! Always something new and unique with every visit.

If you own an old house this is the place to find those quality odds and ends that are no longer produced. From locks, keys, door knobs, hinges, doors, windows, mantels, woodwork and much more. There is also an abundance of unique furniture and decor pieces if you are looking to make a statement. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but much cheaper than having something reproduced to match. Staff was friendly and helpful without being bothersome. I have my eye on a fireplace mantel if it goes on sale...

Love the products, so many one-of-a-kind things that can't be easily found anywhere else. Good customer service. Prices on some items seem a little bit high even taking into account rarity and age, but we will definitely shop again.

Staff is nice and helpful. Selection is very good, but I think that’s because their prices are so high that there isn’t much stock turnover. I’ve seen the same items there for months gathering dust. This is more of a ‘replacement’ salvage, because buying more than one piece of anything here is extremely unaffordable. Also, they don’t do discounts for large orders or haggle on prices. I know they pay for the items for sale (vs Goodwill and the like) so they have to get something for them, but as someone trying to restore an old home, I have to shop elsewhere to be able to afford the pieces they sell. I also wish they had better hours for people who work a 8-5 job because I can only come here on Saturdays. If you need one piece of something to replace something that broke, this is a great place because they’re almost guaranteed to have it. Otherwise it’s more of a museum that’s fun to explore.

Excatly what it says on the tin: they've salvaged house parts, mostly from Victorian and Queen Anne (and a few Federalist style) old houses, and will now sell them to you. Need drawer pulls, transoms, door frames, stained glass windows, or old clawfoot tubs? This is your joint. They also have some odd but lovely furniture pieces like a beautifully refinished writers desk .... And a barber's chair. Highly recommend if you love junk shops, home improvement, antiquing, architecture, or scavenger hunt. The staff is very friendly, and very patient.

We were looking for older ventilation grates to match our older house. We didn't get exact matches, but we got some that were similar Style. We were pretty happy with their organization inside the store. It was also easy to find and parking was available.

This is a gem of a place! Amazing finds, tons of wonderful pieces but the people who were there were not nice the first time I went. We dropped by about 20 minutes before closing and the first person we saw gave us a look and told us they were closing soon. No hello and welcome, just rudeness. So if you can get past that... then you've found yourself a wonderland of stuff :)

Lot of very unique items. Last time I was there they had a giant Roman-like statue. When you first visit you get the feeling that you've found some hidden gem. That being said, you probably won't find any deals but if you're looking for one-of-a-kind furnishings, this is the place to go.
