I've never seen such a well-organized secondhand store. The clothes are arranged by color and type. Unfortunately, the prices are really exaggerated. There are much better places in NYC.

THE SECURITY GUARD ASSAULTED US! The store closes at 6pm we arrived at 5:45 and the security guard said they are close and proceeded to put his hands on us! Don’t come here.

Awesome how it's right next to the mall! The prices aren't terrible, and sometimes I get a decent haul of a few shirts with $30. I'd love to spend more time here. The prices have totally gone up over the last 3-4 years, but no worries, completely understanding! I would love if there were more discounts like they were back in the day, though.

It just drives me crazy how it’s so unorganized for the kids clothes. For example you will find different sizes in different sections. A 3-6 month will not only be in one section , it may be in the middle or randomly on the left or right. Just everywhere. You have to look high and low to get what sizes you’re looking for. Also some of the prices are high for regular items such as baby onesie that’s not name brand or anything special. Should be like $2 not $5-$10. Sometimes you will find things, most times I don’t. It’s just ok.

I bought a monopoly 2003 Las Vegas edition the lady at the register opened it up to check if everything was in there and since everything was wrapped as if it was new she didn’t give a good look at it but now I have a many new pieces to different monopoly games. And not one complete game??‍♀️??‍♀️. How does one look at the game book a determined that 6 different packs of money with different monopoly game names on each different pack, one from the nfl version, one from nascar, another from the deluxe edition and it goes on. Hopefully I can sell it back to them because it was their cashiers fault she said “yes everything is in here”. I paid $14 for it in cash. Wasn’t a bad price at all just actually look in the games instead of just saying yea everything is there!!!

Great store but I wish there was a sign that says that they were accepting donations or not because there are times when I go to donate but they don’t accept my donation. Thank you

I’ve been coming here since I was a teen, i’m 25 now, and every so often you’ll find a good deal, but recently the prices have gone up crazy and it’s not even worth it. Like i’m sorry why is a prettylittlething faux croc second hand jacket $30 when it would cost that much unused! As a long term customer it feels as though you guys have sold yourselves out and are overpricing things! The point of a thriftshop is to find affordable items because they’re second hand, and it feels like you’re taking advantage of thrifts becoming trendy! At the end of the day ya’ll are in the bronx and the community that has upheld your business all these years cannot afford these crazy prices truthfully. And if you need to up charge at least source better quality items, cause again why am i paying RETAIL prices for a second hand used item, when it’s not even trendy or in style ?

I live around here I come often I used to come here when I was a kid my mom loved this place, I have found some great things at so low prices kids dresses for 3$ so beautiful and photo frames for 3$ clothes for women 5$ good brand the cashiers are nice only thing in summer it gets hotttt but nice place they have some glass ornaments I mean you have to come very often since they bring new things daily I guess

Sold me a broken PlayStation 3 for $20 also when I gave in my backpack as they have to keep it to ensure no one shop lifts, the cashier gave it back to me and there was a bed bug crawling on it. Wasted $20 and left with my backpack dirty. Lastly, this place isn’t cheap considering all their stuff is donated I don’t understand why they are pretending they are worth all that. Sell for used prices not new.

I really love this thriftshop there are always many things to get there and they keep thier store quite organized. I will say some of the staff are a little rude. I had a worker come up to me while I was trying to try on some shoes and she seemed angry and aggressive towards me for taking the shoes and trying them on. Maybe it was because she was fixing the shoe rack at the time while I was trying them on but I dont see that reason for being rude to a customer for just trying on some shoes. After I kept hearing her talk badly about me with co workers. The thriftstore is nice I just wished some of the staff were nicer. The cashier was very kind to me. Overall if it wasnt for the rude worker I would have came back with my friends.

Make a day of it. You’ll be overwhelmed at the selection. If you love to rummage and ruminate, you’ll love this thrift store. Everything I’ve purchased from here I LOVE! Great quality stuff and extremely friendly staff

I have been going to this place for a very long time and there have been a lot of good managers who have come and gone but the current one David is one of the nicest I have ever met. He is a professional at what he does. He is a hard worker, he treats the staff nicely and his customer service is impeccable. Thank you David for making shopping at Thriftland a more pleasant experience. The store is one of the best thrift stores in the Bronx. It’s clean and has better quality goods and the staff are friendly as well.

This place was nice but the prices are ridiculous. There are SHEIN items in here that cost more than what SHEIN is selling them for. All other items aren’t “thrift store” prices. It’s best to just go somewhere else or go online and shop. The prices will be the same anyways

Went today after an interview I loved it!!clothes are in very good shape or with original store tags , well organized ideal for kids uniforms boots were amazing

Went there today and I am so disappointed. First of all why is every jacket $50?!?! I thrift all around and why are the thrift stores in MANHATTAN charging like 25-40 for a jacket… sooo overpriced here and I came due to the “cheap prices” which is a lie.. there’s nothing cheap.. even the kids jackets are $8?!!! That should be $5 minimum! Safe to say I won’t be coming back.. I work for my money and travel far for cheap thrift stores and this one did not make the cut at all.

4 stars because I love the stuff and prices that have here it's just I'm not a fan of being followed around and being given dirty looks when asking one of the workers for help. I'm very smiley and nice to everyone and spend lots of money here so there's no reason for me to be treated like a criminal and so nasty. This is my second time coming here and the second time that this has happened to me .. first time it was done to me and my mother.

The prices was good. But the organization of the clothes was everywhere. There was no price tag nor sizes. You will literally have to pick up a shoe and try to find the missing shoe/ size and ask for the price. It did not make thrifting easy. No fitting room!!!

Their selection for clothing is not the greatest, or at least not something I'd want to buy. The clothing seemed like it came from overstock at one of Walmart's warehouses. Their selection for kitchen items is very good and super affordable.

I visited this store for the first time and man I’m happy I did !!!!! I found so much clothes for myself, my kids and clothes for a job. Not just regular clothes at that !! I bought some clothes from Zara, gap and they have plenty of PRETTY HEALS. Ladies and gents … go !!! I bought so much for less than $60 . My new go to !

MAN!!!! What great things can I not say about this place its well worth the visit. I live in Queens and I make an hour long trip to go and I always find awesome things whether I buy them or its just to look around at the cool stuff, but trust me you wont be leave empty handed.

Not as good as it used to be. Before the pandemic they had cool toys, vintage knickknacks, a great variety of jewelry (necklaces, earrings, etc., from designer names like Kate Spade), a bin full of cheap designer sunglasses with minor flaws (I once found a pair of genuine Christian Dior prescription eyeglasses for $2!) and other amazing finds (a friend of mine found a Hermes scarf). Now it's mostly clothing from malls and low end brands like St. John's Bay and leftover junk from Alibaba. Maybe people aren't donating good stuff anymore and they can't find good stuff to stock the store with. At any rate, I find myself leaving empty-handed most times when I go there now.

Great place to find a little bit of everything. From blu-rays to books lamps picture frames accessories shoes clothing there's just a little bit of everything in there.

The store is regular at best yet the prices are exuberant given the area it is located in. $12 for a tie? $75 for a winter coat? In the South Bronx? Does not make sense. Hopefully they lower their prices so more people can partake in the goods they sell.

Good experience visiting this place. Things are clean and organized. Staff is friendly and mostly bilingual english-spanish. I got only a nice scarf because I arrived late there and I didn't have time to see more things but definitely I will come back. Enjoy your visit.

Its an awesome store wirh friendly and helpful staff. I've been purchasing books for my children there for many years. I bought a lovely purse there today. They have nice items and are in great condition.

I really like this place. I stop in about 3 times a year and have found some good deals on things you didn't know you needed till you saw it. The gentleman who owns it or runs it is welcoming and friendly that can't be said about the cashiers though. But other than that no complaints.
