I was lucky enough to have this amazing guy named Mike, wish I caught his last name, serve me in a time of need. Surprised on how quickly he responded to my aid and he noticed how stressed and upset I was. With very calming words he explained how much worse my situation could've bin. Offered me very fair choices and pricing. Professional enough to give me great advice on what to do then and after. He made a bad situation so much better. Thank you Mike. God bless you.

Had a great experience with Mike at Universe. He was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and reassured me during a stressful situation of pulling over on the highway.

Be aware this towing company doesn’t accept credit cards or at least that’s what I was told when I went to pick up my car even though they advertised they accept credit cards. Had to walk 20 mins to the bank to get cash then to walk back to come and find out my car was on another lot in which I had to pick up the car from. Customer service here is awful to deal with.

Got towed off the Whitestone bridge vehicle was brought to universal Towing the guy in the towing company at the office ask for Pete he will get things done he had to deal with a lot to finish up our paper work he’s a straight up gentleman and standup guy also one of his guys Mike was also helping us during the whole process if I can give them more than 5 starts would have

If I can give 0 stars I would . The guy in the front desk Pete was rude and nasty. Attitude all day and has no type of manners. Get him out of there customer service was terrible !

Had an issue on the Hutch. Jose C. Showed up in less than 30 minutes after I called AAA. Very professional and was back on the road in 15 minutes. Thank you!!!

Don’t even let these folks tow your car. Picked mine up with scratches all over. that lot is packed like a sardine can. Also $350 for a tow off throgs neck to their place. Wild

My car stopped in the left lane, just before exit 7 southbound on the FDR. I'm 75 years old. In my van was a wheelchair bound man, an amputee, a man with special needs and a dog. I was driving a car that belongs to my son, the guy in the wheelchair, but one that I was unfamiliar with. We had run out of gas.Then came an angel named Andy. Andy was professional, patient and friendly. He even had a wonderful sense of humor. When I explained all that had happened, he towed us to a gas station. My only payment method was not accepted. He waited until we were able to get that together. Andy, with his positive attitude and outlook, was Truly Heaven sent. May his continued journey be Blessed. I even Thank Universe Towing for having employees of this caliber I must say though, Andy has set the bar REALLY high.

The attitude is unhelpful. I called ahead to find out the proper steps to get my car out of the lot. I asked about putting the new license plates on, and the response I received was, "Well we can put it on for you if there are screws" very hostile. My response was, should I purchase screws before I get there because I have to make a two hour trip? ... working in public service isn't easy, however, just because "you" have the upper hand doesn't give you the right to degrade the people you are servicing.

They guys were so helpful to getting me off the highway when my wheel flew off of my truck. Thank you Universe Towing for making it for getting me back up in running in no time after a scary experience.

Was stuck on 95 North. Mike from universe towing came to the rescue within a matter of minutes with me contacting AAA. Mike was definitely a lifesaver that day! Universe towing is definitely official when I need!

I have no idea how their towing is but their respect is nonexistent. I just witness a tow driver throw a plastic bag out of the window on the FDR. If they don’t care about the local environment, they probably don’t care about your car.

These guys nailed! We were broke down on Bronx Expressway on a freezing evening in nighttime rush hour traffic. Bumper to Bumper! The driver whipped in, yarded our international truck, and drove us to a repair location mins away. They saved the day! Totally recommend them in any emergency in Bronx and surround boroughs.

I appreciate Andy for helping me out on 2/5 on the FDR he was a nice man who help me when my car broke down with my son. Took me to the place for me to look at my car and drop me and my son close enough to a family member house. I do appreciate Andy thank you for having him as a employee

Excellent experience with Universe Towing. Mike the driver of the flatbed truck that rescued me off the highway on was professional, courteous and made me feel safe as I was stranded with a blown out tire on the overpass with cars zooming by. Highly recommended and ask for Mike.

This 5 start review is for Mike specifically. Imagine being given the run around for over 4 hours. Frustrated is not the best word to describe my experience between my insurance and this towing location. Mike was EXTREMELY patient and kind when I was frantically trying to explain my issue. He gave me time to address my issues and he actually listened and gave me great feedback and advice for my situation. I thank Mike 10000% for how he treated me and my situation. He absolutely deserves a raise!

The prices are ridiculous, I mean I understand it’s a business but dang this company is definitely killing pockets, $50 a day not even including the towing and taxes, and if you don’t have plates and or your own tow truck to drive off the lot, this company charges $150 for their tow service. Thank God I got my car back in one peace. Just an FYI THIS PLACE ONLY ACCEPT CASH!!! NO ATM AT LOCATION!!!

Literally left the car on the road over the yellow line, gave them a call to see if they can back up the car, so the car wouldn’t be in the way of traffic. Just straight up said no. Hang up the phone on me.

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY, they completely totaled my car when towing and then decided to try and assault me when I was recording them, currently have a case against them, photos shown below is how the car was left
