On August 1 at 4:15 pm, a Dart Towing driver got out of his truck and screamed and hit the window of my car while I was in the opposite lane. This happened while I was picking up someone. The driver's behavior was completely unacceptable and I felt intimidated and annoyed.
A few nights ago my vehicle broke down, thank GOD for Emily, she saved the day! She is such professional and great worker - only took 10 mins for the driver to get to me!
I almost shed tears, I am so very happy with the experience at Dart! I brought my car in with deep scratches on the rear door and quarter panel. The owner assessed the damage and promised it would be better than new and that's exactly I got. My car has a special paint and they matched it with original factory quality. The owner gave me an outstanding price and honestly the job I received was worth much, much more. From beginning to end, I recommend this family business to everyone who appreciates quality and fast service 💜
So my insurance company booked DART TOW TRUCKING company through Road Side Assistance to give me a flat bed to pick my car up, they told us 90mins we would be picked up. We were told there was an out of pocket expense that we had to pay which was $50 for 2miles extra. When we call DART TOW COMPANY to confirm the truck we were told 90mins wait time for the service. We spoke to the FEMALE night dispatcher who was working on 02/06/24 to 02/07/24 firstly her whole attitude was very bothered and disrespectful, she was snappy and extremely unprofessional she was so heated and demanded $50 upfront, which we had no issue paying, but because we asked about the distance and the rate she got in her feelings. Based on her behavior its clear to assume that it seems they hustle the customers at nights, chances are no cash collected at night goes into the bosses pocket, So because we asked a few questions the sensitive female canceled the Tow truck then lied that there was no truck available. BECAUSE OF THIS INCOMPETENT FEMALE DISPATCHER YOU WILL BE SEEN AS THE WORST NIGHT TOW TRUCK SERVICE COMPANY. Boss Man she costing you money that behavior makes her your biggest liability and gives your company a bad reputation.
This is the worst place that I have ever done business with. This company is not licensed by DMV. There are three companies there and only one of them is licensed Dart Automotive LLC, the collision or the dart towing there are NOT licensed. He took my money and car. I am currently fighting legal battles to retrieve my vehicleans money back.
Please be careful there are many other shop that you can go to. You will regret doing business with them
The absolute worst of the worst. ambulance chaser who arrives at the scene pretending to help you when he will actually completlely rob you. charged a storage fee for days when my vehicle could of been picked up but they had no one available to release it. Stole material and storage units from vehicle and when i confronted him he said they moved it for safe keeping, yet this wasnt mentioned until he was questioned days later. Total scam artist, kicking people when they are down. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!!

NJM requested Dart Towing to tow my car on 7/3 4p. Dart called and confirm they would arrive in 90 mins to 2 hrs. I called again around 6p and they said it still needed 90 mins to 2 hrs. Around 8p, I followed up again and the gentleman just repeated up to 2 hrs wait time and said I could cancel the request without any charge. In short, the Dart rep knew they were not coming but kept me waiting and asked me to cancel at the end after I waited 4 hours on the roadside. This is terrible & unacceptable. I cancelled the request after 8p call and used my credit card's roadside service to tow my car home. They arrived 30 mins after my call. I thought NJM is a renown auto insurance company. This is unbelievable.
A driver sent from the bottom of the gutter, but dispatch was great. On May 22nd, 2023 he had the covid excuse of not taking me with my car. What an a$$! 😡 Tried the excuse of owning his own truck for not taking me with my car! Unbelievable!
Don’t fall victim to this shop like I did. A job that was supposed to take about 21days took over 3month. On top of that, the shop took the insurance money and did shoddy work on vehicle. Had to spend hundreds of dollars to correct issues; from leaky roof, loose panels, bent wheels, faulty ebrakes, faulty replacement tail light….and the list goes on. Such a horrible experience with this shop. Felt so insulted. They know with their line of business there are no returning customers…99% of customers (victims) are from car accidents. And they take advantage of them.

Stay away from this body shop. There are better and more honest options out there. Service is horrible and in violation of NYC codes. Prices aren't posted anywhere for services, so they charge whatever they want. Shady business all around.
Shady and unprofessional. Stay away as far as you can. They are in NYC violation and have no prices posted ANYWHERE in their business. Meaning, they will charge you whatever they feel like when the bill comes. This is one of those body shops you're warned about on the news.
Stay away from this business. Fees are not shown anywhere in the business so they charge whatever they want. When confronted, the owner said "the fees don't have to be anywhere" which is not true and is a violation under NYC law. I've actually filed a complaint for that already. They will charge you whatever they feel like, even though you sign an initial receipt saying something else. No customer service skills whatsoever.

If you have any bodily damage to your car I recommend you come here to have the reconstructive repair work done. If you have any hesitation, rest assured this is 100% the place to get your car restored to perfection, which is only if you want your car to be repaired with quality craftsmanship. If you’re looking for a quick fix, slap a patch on it, paint over it job done, this is not the place for you because they stand behind their work and only want the best work to drive off the premises. I was involved in a hit and run and was left with a car that was unable to move due to the wheel being bent and non responsive to the steering wheel, front passenger door that was smashed in at the hinge, leaving the door ajar with frame damage to the front panel and undercarriage. I had my car towed here by recommendation and all I can say is it was heaven sent when the person told me about this place in my time of desperation to have my car back on the road. The person told me quote un quote “SPEAK TO RICHIE!!!" Those words alone mean something to you by the time you finish conducting business with Richie because before you know it, those are the same exact words you’ll be saying to anyone else you see who has been in a collision. The work done on my car was masterful and the communication was impeccable. Before I even decided on choosing this place to do my repair I was given a tour by Richie of the work that was in progress on other vehicles and some were of the high end variety, which you could see first hand the craftsmanship that was being applied before I got there. Furthermore the paint matching was spot on with all the different kinds of vehicles. Even though my car is a 2009 Honda Accord and clearly not a high end car I was treated as a high end customer and made to feel like my business was truly valued. I received photos and updates personally from Richie about my car from the moment they started the repairs and gutting the damaged parts to the preparation of making repairs and of course the finished product. This is where I will bring my business if I have anything happen to my car in the future. Additionally I will refer anyone I see in need of repairs to this place because I know it will only be a blessing to them as it was for me standing on the side of the road flabbergasted as to how this could ever be something that I would drive again and it not look like it was in a bad accident visibly. When I walked away with my car I couldn’t tell that it was smashed in nor could I feel any issues with my driving performance. I am very meticulous, especially when it comes to quality of products that I spend my hard earned money on and I could assure you that the work done on my vehicle was worth every cent spent. Beyond getting the repairs done and being satisfied with everything, a cherry was added on top by Richie with a simple but definitely much appreciated gesture of a courtesy light bulb change for my signal light as I flashed back to the accident and remembered that after I was hit one of my hazard light/turning signal lights wasn’t coming on anymore. I asked Richie where the nearest Autozone was so I can get a bulb and his reply was “Don’t worry about it I’ll have someone come out front and change that for you.” Like the caring person he is and down to earth human being. Don’t listen to any of the negative reviews because you’ll be misguided. This is my honest opinion and experience with the company, I wrote this review because it needs to be written so others are informed. I stand by my words as they stand by their work. Dart towing and collision is a bullseye!!!

1st day I was there for pay towed my vechilce. Just as curious i asked front man " how much is for storage a day" hd said 50 bucks and I replied but on receipt says 25 bucks for first 3 days after 27 bucks for following days. And he said the receipt is outdated. Which I feel uncomfortable at first. 👎
Then i was try to pay for yesterday towed fee. Bill comes 3 times more according to receipt. I never expected someone scamming in front. Then I ask how is that possible. Could you plz narrow down bill. After that it comes to real fees which is i paid around $ 280. And he replied i down know why other guys handed me this bill. Which totally sham. Next day I towed my car from this place for forever. So beware of this company. I'm saying what encounter with me.
So just be aware of it. Otherwise you'll scammed
Definitely not sure where these "professionalism" reviews are coming from, because, I was met with the exact opposite. It's because of these same reviews that I dedcided to give them a call. Very rude & unprofessional. Can't run a business that way. You may think that the customer needs you more than you need them, but, that would be foolish. There are plenty of competitors around!!!
The service was extremely good. I have a SRT Hellcat and it was extremely damaged, I thought it would never be like it was before. Then, I brought my car to this body shop and they did a wonderful job on my car. When I got my car back it was same as the day I bought it. Also it was very pretty fast. The guys who work there were understandably, and nice. I would suggest this service to everyone else. Thank you Richie.
I love dart towing it’s the best shop great people I’ve brought two different cars to them and both times I was very pleased They are very helpful and they let me know what was going on each day. If I need to I will always choose dart towing.

Richie is a friendly guy, who you can approach and ask questions. He will not make you feel anything but comfortable. A true professional. His customer service is unparalleled. With 30+ years of experience there is no where else I’ll ever go and I live an hour from the shop. He texted me updates and pictures of the progress to ensure I was fully informed along the way. He reviewed what he was going to do and educated me on what and why (no secrets). The only surprises we’re good surprises. He beat his deadline by a day and worked with my schedule. I went to Dart Towing on a recommendation because I was skeptical of other body shops and I couldn’t be happier. Even more important; my wife is happy! I cannot fathom any review below FIVE stars.

Wow...wow.Dart towing...Richie and the staff over there are superbly professionals my honest opinion if there is a million body shop in the bronx charging me 0 dollars...I rather go to is dart towing not doing business with them not once not twice I always walk out with a happy face thanks to Richie and his staff at dart towing..

Terrible everything! Received my vehicle back in worse condition prior to leaving my car with them. They tried to convince me that my vehicle had so many pre-existing issues which I never experienced prior to leaving my car. Zero communication! If you don’t call, they will not call you. The mechanic they send cars too clearly has no idea on how to fix cars. Do not do business with these people! True Scammers!
I had a fantastic experience with this shop. First of all, my car needed significant repairs on both sides. They did an excellent job fixing everything. My car is spotless now. The staff, from the owner to the repair staff were super nice and helpful. They made a potentially painful process painless, from calling the insurance to dropping off my rental when I picked up my car. It’s evident they love their jobs! I highly recommend it!
