Do NOT go here. These people are the definition of scammers. I go in for a routine inspection, under $40 no problem. Drop my car off and go to work. And hour later, I get the call, "Hello everything is looking good, just needs new wipers and filters." They didn't mention they were actually going to replace them and didn't even ask my permission. I acknowledged and went about my day. I pick up the vehicle. $280 on top of the inspection fee for front ($90) and rear wipers ($35) and $60 each for the cabin and engine filter, all of which I would never pay that much for at AutoZone and takes 2 seconds to install. Remember that permission they asked for..."Oh, sorry for the miscommunication," they said. I'm basically forced to accept this so can get my car back because allegedly I accepted the parts verbally . No quote, no nothing. Here's the kicker. Sensing something was up, I decided to look at what they replaced before leaving. Sure, they replaced the front wipers and maybe the rear wipers. (I had actually replaced the rear wipers not too long ago so I couldn't tell if they had replaced them.) But digging further, turns out they never actually replaced either the cabin or engine air filter...they were still the previous ones!! I marched right back in and demanded a refund. They claimed they forgot to install the filters because they were busy. Here I am getting charged way beyond the regular price of filters I never wanted (cabin air filters are not even part of an inspection and an engine air filter would only need to be replaced if it failed emissions...and they never mentioned any failed emissions tests), and turns out they didn't even replace them. Never coming back.

Riverdale Auto Clinic is the spot. Straightforward, honest, and fast — exactly what you want in a mechanic. They don’t try to upsell you or feed you nonsense; they tell you what’s wrong, fix it right, and charge a fair price.

Do NOT go to this shop for anything important. I have had my emissions inspection done there over the years but never anything major. So, a few months ago my wife was driving the car and the check engine light came on. She was on her way home and called me so I said, stop there. They had always been nice. Days went by, we paid $1500 for new cylinders and they still didn't fix the issue. During that visit I kept getting notifications on my phone that my battery was low. I kept asking them what was going on. Finally, they gave up, told me to come get the car, and I realized they had left the lights on all of that time, which is why I kept getting the alerts. Took the car (Mercedes) to the dealership - fixed in one day at zero cost. Riverdale Auto Clinic FAILED to accurately diagnose the issue, and charged me $1500 for it. Wait, it gets better. This week the battery needed to be replaced (I wonder why). Once again, my wife was driving the car, stopped in. They replaced the battery, thanks, I suppose. I guess they thought they were being nice by washing the car but LOST THE FRONT PASSENGER floor mat. How does that even happen? So, now I'm buying new mats because they are giving us the run around and not doing what is the right thing to do and replacing what they took out of my car, without asking, and lost it. I will NEVER go back there and highly recommend NO ONE go there.

Very professional, efficient and quick service. Love them. I took my car to another mechanic in Ossining and almost messed up my car but this guys fixed my car right away. Thanks Joe, Jose and Jesus. Definitely will come back.

I got an inspection and oil change here. Everything went well, the staff and mechanics were friendly and asked before doing anything extra which is always nice. The free car wash was a welcome touch as well.

Joe and Felix were super helpful when I brought my Elantra to them. They work fast and diligently and are very very transparent! To top it all off they work with you while making you feel they are there to service you and not just your wallet.

let me tell you i am VERY happy with riverdale auto clinic, with Joey and the crew there! Why? because they give my vehicle what it needs because they know what they are doing. perfect example use to bring my truck to the dealer, needed new tires which i got but then the new tires started loosing air on a constant basis. brought the truck back, dealer said nothing wrong with tires. this was repeated over and over again dealer was no help. went to a local garage same thing. went to riverdale auto clinic talked to Joey and he said he would find out what was going on. turned out that i had to have the rims filed down because they were cutting into the tires. got this done, a new set of great tires all aligned etc things are great! suggest you give them a try especially if you are having repeated problems. brought our two other family vehicles in that needed lots of work and now they feel brand new to drive. wouldnt go anywhere else.

Great services. 👍 one stop if you need any repairs and get a car wash. They have the best mechanic #Jesus in town to work on domestic and imported car. Straight forward and honest service. You will be satisfied with the quality of work.

I had a wires changed leading from my starter to my engine and was charged close to $800 dollars. He claimed the engine needed cleaning but I just had it cleaned. This guy over charges immensely. My car would not start and this crook took advantage.

Joe and his team (including Jesus) are professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve been serviced here a few times and I leave feeling satisfied with the services each time.It is my go to shop. I recommend coming here if you’re in the area and need an auto clinic you can trust.

Charged more then double the amount I was initially told on the phone. I gave all Details of my Make and Model BEFORE driving there expecting to receive an oil change for the quoted amount of $110.00. My oil change went from $110.00 to $245.00. They told me I am sorry who ever told you that on the phone was wrong. The man that answered the phone had ALL Details of my vehicle including the vin number. I was taken as a fool because I am a single female . Adding on : It is almost on month later and I have had to call 4 times to try and get this refund back that was promised . I still do no t have it

Complete waste of my time and money... on my way home my car died for a unknown reason.. and I took it to them. I told them I recently changed my maf sensor and told them of all the current codes my car had. They said no problem.. they will check it out but it's a 200 diagnostic charge. The next day they call me and tell me I need a new maf sensor and the charge for parts n labor is 500 bucks! ... for a maf sensor?? Seriously. I told them I just changed it so it can't be faulty... come to find out all it needed was a reset on the obd so it can learn the new maf sensor.. 200 for nothing.. these guys are parts changers not mechanics..

These guys were great. They are near my work and I was able to drop and and pickup easily. They did some minor body repair work on my car and my yearly inspection and left my car so clean and in way better shape than I left it. They took extra care to clean the tires and even the front seat and floor mats. Thank you!!

They can't even show up on time. This morning I waited for them till 8:15 - they're supposed to be open by 8:00. The finally showed up, but I'd already brought the car to a neighboring station. If they can't be trusted to show up, how are they going to reliably care for my car?

My recent experience at Riverdale Auto Clinic was an excellent one and worth writing a review. My BMW X3 was in significant need of rear brakes and I needed the repairs completed within the same business day. That is when Joe (Manager @ Riverdale Auto) and team worked their magic and did a stellar job in fixing my brakes. Needless to say they were life savers and did an excellent job and had my vehicle in top shape by the end of business which was incredible. I highly recommend that if you live in Riverdale or the surrounding areas come pay Joe and team a visit to handle your vehicle repair needs. That will take great care of you and provide first class service!

OK, my Mercedes is not new anymore, meaning it’s harder to justify the expense of going to the dealership. 2 months ago my check engine light came in and the dealer charged me $2000 just to diagnose. My light came on again and took it here. Under $200 to fix and diagnose, $200 for oil change and other services, a car wash that I didn’t pay for nor expect, AND my engine, that has been ticking for 6 months, is pindrop quiet. If you’re reading this, it means all the fixes worked and I haven’t changed my mind about the shop.

I have been bringing my vehicles to this establishment for over ten years. The staff are knowledgeable, personable, and treat customers like family. I choose to bring my car for sophisticated repairs over the Audi dealership regularly. They have a wealth of resources available to them in order to source OEM parts and their technicians are well-versed in many types of vehicles, including luxury vehicles. Additionally, their repairs and service fees are always significantly lower in price than the dealership and the quality is comparable. I will continue to bring my vehicle to this phenomenal establishment. Thank you!

I've had nothing but good experiences with this shop. Just had my brake pad and rotors done on my 2014 Prius and am very satisfied with the work and honesty. They tell you what you need to do now vs. what can wait until later, so no nickel and diming here. I'd recommend this shop to people looking for an honest mechanic in the riverdale bronx area.

The only thing that surprised me more than the excellent work Riverdale Auto Clinic performed on my car was the friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, passionate staff members. It is obvious that this company has a sense of pride in the work they do and it shows in the end result. The car actually looked and drove better when I picked it up from Riverdale Auto Clinic compared to when I purchased it from the dealer. I had the pleasure of dealing with Samantha throughout the entire process and it was like no other experience I have had in the past while having my car repaired. She went the extra mile to get my car complete, fixing the outside mirrior from the driver's side, replacing the rotars, brakes and changing my back tires. So happy with the car service and overall experience. Will definitely be returning. Great place and great group of guys!

Professional, clean, terrific staff. I've had repairs and purchased tires over the years, always impressed. This time, needed help with my bicycle tires and while they are in the wonderful business of repairing cars and obtaining tires and parts, the mechanic helped me with my bicycle as well. This says so much why Riverdale Auto clinic is always tops in my book. Take it from me, Jan, I live two blocks away and really like the service from Riverdale Auto. Thank you again!

First of all their oil change is way too expensive. $60 for a regular oil change. And make sure you check or ask them to re-check to see if they really close the screw tight after they drain the oil. I did my oil change couple of weeks ago from a different place and the mechanic showed me how loose the screw was and the oil had been leaking since the previous oil change. This could happen anywhere but the reason why I decided to mention this and give these guys a one star because I clearly remember that day the guy who changed the oil, came back and forth inside the shop and kept messing with the girl at the desk. He wasn't paying any attention to what he was doing with my car. He also told me that the car has bad suspensions in the front. I had them checked out at the other place and they told me that the struts are perfectly fine and don't require a repalcement for a long time. Also they have this obsession with the air filter and at the cabin air filter. They check them all the time and 90% of the time they suggest you to replace them. I have been there a couple of times and no more because they almost blew up my engine.

This place is “GREAT”, had a few problems with my car had it towed to this shop and got great service at a great price all while the mechanics explained the problem and what needed to be done to fix it. This is the place to go where mechanics aren’t crooks and know exactly what they are doing. The best part is that I met the owner he is always there and values his customers. I am happy with this place and it is now the only place I take my car.. Anyone looking for a good shop that had it all this is the place for you. Great mechanics great body shop great car wash what can I say 1 stop shop.

Crooks I dropped off my car telling them the problem, after charging me $125.00 and didn't fix anything charging for an inspection that which I never received. Then told me to get my check engine light off I'd have to pay another $165.00 after investigating myself replaced broken hose came out to $6 bucks

Stellar customer service and amazing quality of work. Came for a quick and easy car inspection and left with a great impression. I will return in the near future for any car needs.
