After swapping out a motor and transmission as well as the ecu, I could not get my car started at all. I brought my car to Hansel and he was able to get the car running! I have also taken other cars for maintenance.

I give this place ZERO stars! I left my car for repair at Hansel's because it was leaking antifreeze and overheating, my car was there for 3-4 days before anybody actually looked at it. I called him constantly, even showed up twice, and he continued to give me the run around on my repair something about waiting for a piece. Finally, my car was ready, he charged me $250. According to them the issue was addressed. Only to find myself back there a day later because my car was still overheating. They added more antifreeze claiming it was lacking fluid. 2 days later back again because everything leaked out. Only to have a mechanic briefly look at the car and tell me it's the AC leaking. After being disregarded and given the run around at Hansel's built because I'm a female and not one of his boys, I decided to take my car to a reliable mechanic who PROPERLY diagnosed and repaired my car in a day! All I did was waste my money ($250 at Hansels, another $250 at the other mechanic, and over $150 in ubers), time, and energy at Hansel's built. Please consider having your repairs done elsewhere, these ppl are not reliable and completely unprofessional.
Honest and reliable. I only know him and some of his employees for close to a year and yet the owner is very knowledgeable of his cars especially hondas. He will not break your pocket. He will straight up tell you if buying the part is cheaper if he orders it or if he does. I just had my motor ordered and he recommended a place and his quote was right on. Need an oil change? Check engine light on? Brakes need to be serviced? Car is misfiring? Go to him for any work to be done. Make sure you go with at least 50% of the labor if planning to have him do the work afterwards. Even if its to diagnose it you have to pay for his labor and that is labor. I respect him for that. Tell him Eddie sent you( gold Odyssey 01).
*DONT BRING YOUR CAR HERE**I own a 2005 Acura TL, my engine died and it needed replacing. I took my vehicle over to Hansel, he promised everything was going to be fine, we spoke about prices and negotiated a bit until finally we agreed on 750.00 for labor. Long story short, they called me 3 days later that my car was ready. When they gave me my car and I drove away, the car was overheating.... THEY FORGOT TO PUT COOLANT IN THE RADIATOR! They forgot to reconnect my radio, they forgot the power steering fluid, I go back, they add the coolant and they said the car was “Good.” But two days later the engine hydrolocked, due to the fact the headgasket got damaged allowing water to fall into the pistons. On top of all that, I brought my car into the shop and they decided to park my car in the streets, knowingly knowing that their is street parking laws that he failed to abide by and obviously caught a couple parking tickets w my car.
Hansel is a nice guy but I will never go back there again! I was told to be at the shop by 10am and the guy showed up at 1pm, waited 3 hours and his co-worker would not help me contact him! While attempting to construct a guage pod the guages were installed upside-down and one of the guage faces had the paint scratched in several places, Hansel then hinted that he was not going to be able to finish the job in the time promised while going back and forth between my project and another person's car. This was a bad experience!
Very good shop even better people. They know what their doing and wont give u a run around like others do. When i want something done i take it to the pros at hansel built. 💯 the best.
