General Mgr was excellent. She manned her store well. I believed her named is Ezzy. I heard her worker calling her for help. She is on top of her game. I needed a part, I was not sure what was called. She asked me to described it, she didn't get it. She asked me if she can use her self phone, I agree. She got on it. And there she goes. She resolved my problem got me the right part and offered what I might need for the job. I usually don't waste time on reviews but this one is worth it. I was in a rushed that I didn't catch specifics on this gal but am sure who shops there knows who am talking about.
I will absolutely not be returning to this location. Every single time I come here, there is an excuse or some kind of problem. They can’t find pickup orders, they can’t provide battery installation, and they always have a reason why they “can’t help.”
The staff also can’t answer basic vehicle questions, things they should know if they’re selling car parts and services. I bought a battery here specifically because installation was offered, yet they refuse to install it every time or come up with another excuse.
What makes this even worse is that they clearly have the experience and could have replaced the battery in about 10 minutes, but instead they let me stand outside in the freezing cold trying to figure it out myself.
If I’m forced to do the work myself anyway, there is no reason to shop here. I could have easily ordered a battery online and avoided this frustration altogether.
I ended up installing the battery myself in freezing weather, in the dark, walking on ice in their parking lot. That is completely unacceptable. They’re lucky I didn’t slip and get seriously hurt. This experience shows a complete lack of care for customers.
The staff is very helpful—great customer service. I purchased a new battery for my car, and they installed it and disposed of the old one at no extra cost. The young man who helped me was very knowledgeable. I’ll definitely recommend this place.
I needed a light bulb. I was given the wrong one at another auto part store. However, Advance Auto Parts personnel were more knowledgeable and were able to assist in getting the right 💡

I had to put 1 star to be able post review otherwise I wouldn't put any stars. This location is slow as molasses. 3 registers open and still have to wait on the line for over 15mins. Will definitely NOT go here again!!!

They are better than autozone in terms of on the phone customer service but, not by much. They tend to leave you on hold for a long time. The parking lot normally always has parking available which is good and their in person customer service is quite good. The only reason I rated it a 3 star is that I sometimes have to drive there because the wait on the phone is so long that I can get an answer to my question faster by driving 20 mins to it. Which sucks because to waste 20 mins, 40 mins round trip to get a disappointing answer is messed and often that is the outcome.
Today I had the worst customer service experience ever with an employee who claims to be the manager when he clearly is not, i couldn’t get his name but he’s black and wear glasses, he will make sure to make your life miserable, helpless and rude, not polite at all, this the worst customer service experience someone can offer with the type of behavior he had with me, he should be sent back to training again, I was a regular customer here and the other folks always treated me with respect but because of this guy I’ll make sure to never come back again.

I bought their brand of brake pads( platinum) had them for 1 day. They were the loudest pads ever. Mechanic said pads were bad so I took them back. The store didn't have the same ones so I went a step down(gold). Next day still squeaky. The Mechanic said change brake pads. It's not the rotors it's not the calipers. So advanced auto parts sells bad brakes!! My money will not be refunded because that is not their policy as told by customer service. Only exchanges...to more bad brake pads! This place is the worst. Just about every review site has them at no more than 2 stars. I am going to call corporate everyday and complain and even put my complaint on social media.
Excellent service. The employee was so well mannered and helpful that I let him convince me to purchase German Oil for my car when I could have gotten a cheaper American brand.
Parking is very difficult but they seem to keep a lot of parts in stock.the wait time was pretty long to pickup my parts so I definitely recommend ordering your parts on line and just pick them up here.
I was unknowingly sent a street mechanic Luis Junior Nazario to replace an insured starter that I purchased from Advance Auto 8.24.21, was told by Manager Steve and Esmeralda that they had nothing to do with the street mechanics service but failed to notify me that they were sending a street mechanic to replace the defective starter! This is what I call SHADY BUSINESS, when speaking to the rep at Advance Auto at no time was I told there was going to be a charge for service even after I asked several times, I was told there was no charge. Well this was not the case, after the mechanic that Advance Auto sent to my location installed the defective starter, he then charged me $150.00 which is outrageous. He then lied an told me he would provide a receipt for service and I have yet to receive one! Be careful when getting service done at Advance Auto at 1840 E Tremont Ave. Will never visit this location again for service on my vehicle!!!
I knew nothing about what I was doing and what the problem with my car was. Jason was a life saver. He sold me the part I didn't even know I needed until he took his time to personally run a diagnostic on my car, though this specific location does not have that service. Usually the people in the mornings tell me to go to autozone. Jason actually came out on his break and made an effort to help me instead of sending me off like everyone else who works there. and found out what I needed to know, and sold me the parts I needed at a great price. I was only in the store for 20 minutes, and I was already sure I could install my starter on my own by the way he explained it to me, and I did, and I wound up actually making it to my daughter's birthday party out of state that night. I used to always shop at autozone, but now Tremont is my store, and Jason is my parts guy. He knows his stuff very well.
The manager is great & this location is always clean ( inside and outside parking lot) BUT their lifetime warranty on brake pads is bs. Only can return pads if defective not like AutoZone lifetime policy on pads which you can return your old brake pads that your purchased ( lifetime ) from AutoZone anytime! They are professional and go out your way to help you. Customer service is great!
They didn't have the specific product I was looking for, but they're ok. Staff offered assistance when I entered the establishment, which is nice. Nothing negative to report. I would go back again.....
Offer great discounts all the time and parts are available most of the time...! Four stars cuz their customer service is a bit slow and the parking is always an adventure....! In my personal opinion, in general i like it more than autozone...!

Several times I have been there and I don't receive any attention. Even when there is no one there ; the response I got was that there is no interest in helping you. I liked this place but I'm not coming back. The last time I went there it was in a non rush hour time and I purposely stayed quiet to see if anyone would ask me to help; and no one did. Even in the cashier line no one called me to the cashier. It was so weird I just left.
I visited three Auto Zones in the Bronx yesterday and today searching for a specific antifreeze my car requires and Auto Zone's website stated was in inventory. It wasn't. I went home and was able to purchase it very quickly at a lower price with free same day shipping from Advance Auto Part's website. The item arrived in two hours, professionally packaged and delivered by a gracious delivery professional. I will now shop at Advanced Auto Parts. Thank you.
Got a nice deal on battery. Ordered online and picked up at the store. Was in and out quick. Free installation but they don't do service on Sundays. Though they hooked me up with a guy for installation anyway.
I was quite surprised actually. I got there late so I guess I expected the usual nasty attitudes and mediocre service you usually find in the bronx just before closing. Instead I was greeted with a smile, the lady (Lanore) who was helping me pulled up my parts on the computer without any questions, personally walked me down the aisle and pointed out exactly what I needed and which brand was best and why, then rung me up and had me on my way in minutes
Nice counter service. Friendly staff and knows their community. I am from a different boro and they treated me nice as well. Informative and helpful, gave me a good choice on ac recharge and I saved about $20.00 bucks.
