I went in to get some tools for my boyfriend here one day and i casually overheard the cashier advising a hispanic man to “Speak english. This is America”. Very rude and unprofessional. I would understand if she accommodated and asked a spanish speaking employee (which they do have) to translate or take care of the customers need but she straight up told him to speak spanish. As a Hispanic myself, this would crush me if it was being told to a family member of mine. It was very racist and made me not want to support harbor freight any longer because if this is the type of employee you hire and this is the environment you want to achieve, i no longer want to be there. I will be spreading the word to anyone i know who shops here as well as making a facebook to advise people not to go. By the way, her name was either Marla or Marlene. I didnt really see the name tag too well. 0/10 stars, do not recommend if you speak ANY other language because obviously theres some differences people just cant get over or accept.

Very well stocked and kept up with. Aisles aren’t huge so it’s pretty easy to find what you need. Lines can get long but not too long of a wait. There’s even very niche items that you’d think you won’t need from a store like this but they might have it. Cashiers were friendly and talkative which can make some people’s days.
They have almost everything you look for. There is a cashier that's very helpful and nice . Every time I go there and she there treats me nice and respect . You can see she came to work. That's why I go on her line she must be the manager. I would just like to say thank you! Have a great day.
Stopped in the store this morning Needed a electric metal shear , found none on the Shelf, talked to a very hard-working store manager who stopped what she was doing and could have blown me off . I asked her if there was any in the back room or could I buy the display model. She went out of her way And checked back twice only to find one in the back room for me. She even offered to locate one at another store for me if they didn't have one. A definite Lily among the thorns there is still kindness and good customer service in the Bronx. Thank you for the wonderful shopping experience
Harbor Freight Bronx employs really attentive staff who are friendly, courteous, and –most importantly– helpful to customers. On more than one occasion the cashier reminded me of additional coupons that my purchase was eligible for. When I’ve asked questions, the responses have been thoughtful and genuine.
Bed customer service by store manager. Bought rotary hammer with 90days warranty. It stop working on 15days and when go back for replacement she say she can't accept replacement because I used that. She need training classes so she understands warranty police and not discriminate customer by nationality or immigrants. Same items was replaced by Yonkers store with out and argument .
This store beats all other mega stores when you need to complete a small project

And you will find what you need since the place is well stocked with most items. You may not find expensive brands but quality is adequate and commensurate with the price .
I can honestly say that I'm a mactool and snap on guy but after meeting the guy with the big beard name Kris. He really convinced to get the icon impact socket and ever since I got those sockets he was honestly right because it's way more better and it's much cheaper. Love his customer service advice. Will he seeing me more often for sure. Definitely deserves a shoutout.
Came on Sundays to pick up some parts for my shop but end up leaving with way more than I bargain for. Want to give a shout out to the guy with the big beard name Krish. He was very helpful and also he knows way more than the manager that I ask. Very good job kid.
Krishna helped me a few weeks ago when I visited the store. He is very knowledgeable and was able to help me find the tools I needed for my project. Glad to see employees that put effort in to help customers, it's rare nowadays
Assistant Supervisor Barbara is amazing!! she just spent the last 30 minutes helping me gather all the tools needed to complete my protect.She was patient, polite and knowledgeable of all the products they carried at Harbor Fright. Barbra guided me through the whole process of selecting all the necessary tools I needed and even sold me an exclusive inside track membership so I could save a bundle on my purchases today and anytime in the future, somebody give this girl a promotion or at the very least a raise she deserves it!! She has amazing customer service skills and a wonderfully delightful disposition I wouldn’t be surprised if Corporate one day realizes how valuable she is and decides to snatch her up. I had such a pleasant experience today I felt compelled to write this review praising this amazing employee .
Just had an amazingly delightful experience at this Bronx Harbor Freight. Cashier Chaka went above and beyond to help find all the items I need for my project this past weekend she was polite knowledgeable and very enthusiastic. Companies need more people like her I will definitely be coming back to this location with amazing customer service and amazing cashiers. Thank You Chaka for all your help and advice it’s rare these days to find sales people who love their jobs and know what they are doing.
It's great considering the lower prices n the quality of the product. The only exception is when downloading coupons at the store for 20% or more, there seams to be a problem getting any coupon. It never works n they asked for extra insurance on top of that if you wanted. Get your coupon code through your E-mail before you get to the store. Overall it's cheaper to buy there.
Love this place its like toys R Us, I can spend Hours and the prices are better than Home Depot ! Big recommended this place for anyone looking for good and cheap tools to send overseas or even here, 5 stars excellent and don't ever forget to ask for the discounts.
I came to Harbor freight to purchase an item, that I was looking for at other locations but didn't have. I was extremely grateful that Harbor Freight had the item I was looking for. Everything was going great until the transaction was completed. A cashier named Jacqueline acted as though she didn't want to bag my 2 items and told me with an attitude the bag is 5 cents. She immediately starting conversing with other coworkers as though I didn't exist. So now I'm waiting (with a dollar in my hand to pay for the bag) for her to bag my items. After she bags my items, now she tells me I don't have to pay the 5 cents for the bag. Every customer that makes a purchase in this store deserves a bag for their item(s). The customer should never ever be made to feel as though they are petty or worthless, especially when paying with their hard earned money. Bad customer service will only lead your customers to shop elsewhere and gladly. Train your workers to be professional!!!
For my first experience at this store. I was treated like a king. Sely on the floor helped me find what I had gone for immediately Her attitude was friendly. She answered my questions and did not rush me. Eleanor at the register was very nice and explained the membership process to me. This is how you should be treated at any business greeted kindly helped with a smile and made to feel like you want to come back. Btw I paid the toll and came from Queens. Well worth the trip

A great place to get quality tools and great savings. Available parking on premises. They also carry a variety of other products like walkers, toys, and gardening supplies. Come browse, you will be amazed what you will find.
You never know what tools you’ll need til you visit harbor freight. Compared to other big box stores, this place has a lot of good deals. It does need more staff but the staff are knowledgeable.
Love this place. I work for a flooring contractor and I shop here at least once a month, sometimes more. The selection is mind boggling, the prices are great and the staff is "A" class. A manager is always on the floor to assist and answer questions. I even get things I need for the home. Cannot say more about what a great store this is. Anyone who has even a little knowledge about tools and takes care of what they purchase cannot complain about the "lesser quality items" They do not sell "name brand" items that are totally over priced. They offer great quality and value for reasonable prices. "Take care of your tools and they'll last forever!"
