I had a very concerning experience with Fast Lane Towing at North Arch Village Court Apartments on May 2,2026
My vehicle was towed shortly after midnight on Friday so on May 2, even though my vehicle displayed a valid parking pass issued by the apartment complex. This is the same pass residents have used for years, with no updates or changes communicated.
The following day, I went to retrieve my vehicle before closing with all required documentation and was fully prepared to pay the towing fees. I was told to wait for the police, and once they arrived, the tow operator (Justin) refused to release my vehicle and instructed me to return on Monday. No valid reason was provided for denying the release, despite my compliance.
As a result, I was forced to incur additional storage fees. I was quoted $240 for less than 24 hours, which appears excessive. It felt as though the delay was intentional to increase the total cost.
There were also conflicting and inaccurate statements made regarding who issues parking passes for the complex, which raises further concerns about how these tows are being handled.
Overall, this experience was highly inconvenient and disruptive to my family and work. Based on what I experienced, I strongly encourage others to fully understand their rights and document everything if dealing with this company.
Dons car was towed from apartments, he had a visitor pass it was filled out correctly for the dates of 27th thru 30th , was told he was towed because he didn't put a leave time on the pass!!! These people are crooks!!! Over priced thieves!!!
Fast Lane Towing & Recovery LLC stole my rental car. I verified with Richmond police department stated that Fast Lane Towing & Recovery LLC tow my rental car I spoke to a gentleman from that company he confirmed that they had the vehicle and then when rental car company call Fast Lane Towing & Recovery LLC they stated that the don't have the vehicle. Now Fast Lane Towing & Recovery LLC won't answer my calls anymore. I'll filing a police report as well. They need to be shutdown. They are scamming people. They the reason i got tow because I parked on private property which I wasn't the only vehicle on that property but I was the only vehicle got towed. The other vehicle that didn't get towed was people i was with so not understanding why my vehicle was targeted and we all was parked side by side.
How do yall tow a car from a closed property then don’t a have a number to call to talk to someone unprofessional then call the number and by appointment seems like a money grab. It a shame that local companies need to be greedy
The guy I spoke to was a great guy! He was at my vehicle within 15 minutes and he was also great with my service dog! The price was definitely the best I received out of 8 other businesses. Great experience!
If I could’ve given no stars I would’ve ! The owner is very rude ! We waited over 2hrs for a tow that I ended up having to cancel . The owner stated that he just received the dispatch 20 minutes prior, then called back and stated that his dispatch tried to reach us and no one answered. Both statements were untrue. I requested the contact for dispatch which he did not provide and upon further research found that HE IS the dispatch. Company is untrustworthy. Seek assistance elsewhere !
