I can appreciate Bap Geon but the people that work there do not have good customer service skills.
Also, I agree with the other reviewer who left a review saying that you have to be careful of prices. I will also add, compare the prices with the dealer. Sometimes the prices are higher for a none manufacturer brand than what you can by it from the dealer. I was quoted 10 dollars higher than the dealer for a coolant expansion tank. When asked what brand it was, was only told it was a warehouse item. Before I could state that the price is higher than what I can get form BMW which was in stock the lady hung up. So that's another sale lost to FCP Euro. At this rate the Midlothian store will close like the Broad street store (which had great customer service) did years ago.
I went to pickup my part, I gave my name, I told him that I called already the Gentleman said that we don't go by name, and we don't have it,I was about to leave and their was 2 others their at the counter, on the phone,he went to the back,one lady got up and reach back behind the other person and got the package, he stated that their was no communication here, and that they needed to leave notes
I just got my parts and left
Pay attention to prices. If item is not in stock and has to be ordered, the price will be higher than what it is on the website. Make sure you get the associate to tell you what the price is going to be before you get a big surprise when you checkout.

All of the employees at the store suck! They have the worse attitude! If you hate your job that much just quit. And they never have parts in stock they always gotta order them.
The guy who answered the phone was rude and condescending. There is a confederate flag on one of the vehicles which I assume to be an employee's. Not a good idea, unless you don't want certain customers. Cold an inconsiderate attitudes unless they happen to see a familiar face.
Great prices and good customer service from two specific employees of whom I can't remember their names. Sorry. But this is where I go for my VW parts always.
Only location for auto parts which carries GL5 motor oil, AMSOIL & for a decent price. They also have undiluted coolant, which is half the price of any other competitor that carries 50/50 premix. 5 stars if they also carried Redline oil but we can't always get everything we want all the time.
I called yesterday (11/07/2022) and inquired about an emblem and oxygen sensor. I was told I would get a call back concerning emblem and that the oxygen sensor would arrive today 11/08. I called this morning to confirm before driving 45 minutes (glad I did) and was advised no oxygen sensor was ordered. Horrible first experience and I will not be calling again.
Highly recommend going here. The prices are right and the parts are good oem. Staff are really helpful too. Got about everything you need if not they’ll order it and have it within an hour. Worth checking it out. Prices are comparable w the main name store.
Nice place and staff. Most of the time always get it right, however, last visit, wrong part, I still need to return it but really cost me time and was not a good day and left me with a unhappy customer, it happens, so I will just say be ready and know what you need. Great staff.
Excellent service. I have a 98 s320 and my wipers are hard to install and find. Not only did they have the exact blade I need when no one else does, they went above and beyond when it came time to install these difficult wipers. Kyle and his Co worker, didn't get his name, but I think it was Dan or Dave, they are awesome!!!
I love this place. Came here when I had my BMW so came again for all of my Lexus parts. They worked with me, gave me a on-site price quote, then worked with me on the most feasible things to purchase. If I had any doubts or questions, they were knowledgeable and able to assist me even when they said the materials would come late, they still found a way right on time for my parts to come in. To me that's outstanding customer service!
*Note: you will need your ID if using a credit card. I didnt give them a hard time because it's good security for me moreso than for them. They are good people and glad I came here. I will be back to order some more parts.
Between this location and the west broad store they usually have the parts I need on hand for my European cars or can get it the same day. Very fast and friendly service and I’ve been using them for years .
I liked the pricing, but defiantly not the way the guy spoke to me when I came in the 2nd time. He treated me like I was a fool I would guess because I am a female. I did not appreciate it at all. Will not be back to be talked to like a 2yr old by a maybe 25 yr old who's over a decade my jr again. Treat people better and you may keep your business. To many other parts stores to deal with an attitude when I am spending over 300.00$.
Those people are very good people that get very excellent customer service I was ordering some brakes rotors for my R8 Audi the rotors were very very heavy they even offered a dolly to carry them out to the car and the gentleman put them in the vehicle for me I thank them so much at map Geon import automotive parts
Overstaffed and on top of things!! My review in a nutshell.. They have all kinds of German/Swedish/ import parts and products that you can almost only find online fully stocked in their store! I personally own a Volvo, and my parents are proud BMW owners that love their cars. Prior to finding this local store literally right around the corner from the house, we were ordering everything from bavarianauto online for the BMW's & IPD online for the Volvo. Its a pain in the butt having to wait even with free delivery after spending a certain amount. Bottom line these guys had comparable or cheaper prices than what I could get anywhere online. They also stocked head gasket kits and Volvo specific coolant and German/Euro turbo oil from Amsoil that I haven't been able to find ANYWHERE! My Pentofrost coolant was cheaper at this BapGeon than I could get online, and the victor reinz head gasket kit was the same price that I would get online from California. The only problem with online parts shopping besides having to wait, is losing that warm fuzzy feeling you get going to your local auto parts store knowing that you can physically see the part your getting and a return can be made quickly and right around the corner if it doesn't happen to match when you get home. I described them as overstaffed because there's always someone there to immediately help you with your vehicle specific needs, this doesn't mean that they're not busy though. They are always delivering parts to the dealership and other local auto parts stores like Advanced Auto Parts, Autozone, Napa, etc.. By going to this store I cut out the middle man a few times, and didn't have to wait for a "special order" from Advanced Auto that is also right around the corner.

This place was the only store where I could get the gear oil my vehicle needed as soon as possible and it had to be a special order. The customer service was great at first but then the guy got rude with me. I had placed my order over the phone and was told that they would give me a call when my order arrived. When they called it was to tell me that there was a mistake in shipping and that the arrival of the gear oil would be delayed. I said ok, no problem since I was still waiting for another special order part for my vehicle. In all of that I ended up forgetting because I never heard back from them until my mechanic asked me about the fluid. That's when my husband then called and they said that it was still there and that it had been there for a while but I had failed to go. I went with my husband to pick up the fluid and told the guy how come no one called me to let me know that the fluid had arrived. He then proceeded to argue with me stating that I had been notified to which I said no, you had called to tell me about the shipping delay. So then he responded yea and then we got it and we called but got no answer. I told him I had no missed calls from them at all. If this was the case how come no one left a message. I never ignore calls on my phone and answer all calls. Even the ones from telemarketers because of my job. I never know if it's someone calling due to business related purposes or annoying telemarketers. Needless to say I will never use this supplier ever again because this guy went out of his way to argue with me. What happened to the customer is always right. I worked as a store manager at a huge auto parts retailer and have never acted this way or let any of the employees act that way with any customer. We were instilled that our customers are precious even when they're wrong. These people need to work on their customer service skills. They don't even greet you when you walk in.
I received a defective window regulator and it went down on a pouring down rain type of day. My leather seats are, needless to say, ruined. They do not reimburse for labor costs nor help with the fact that my seat is ruined. This is speaking directly to Bap Geon, not the store on Midlothian Tpke. They were as helpful as possible and I could tell they wished they could do more. Only reason that it's 3 stars. Thank you for your help, Bap Geon on Midlo!
