I had a very disappointing experience with this location.
Before bringing my truck down from Stafford, I called ahead and explained that I was having transmission issues and would need to have the truck towed in. I was assured that it wouldn’t be a problem and that they could help.
After paying to have the truck towed all the way to Richmond, things went downhill quickly. Instead of properly diagnosing the issue, it felt like parts were being thrown at the truck without a clear plan. Then I was told by a mechanic that their computer system had been down and that I had “caught them at a bad time.”
That’s something that should have been communicated before I spent money on towing and brought the truck in.
To make matters worse, when I got my truck back:
• My PTO cable retainer was missing
• My front grille was missing
• And I was still dealing with the original issue
So after spending money on towing and repairs, I ended up with a truck in worse condition than when I brought it in.
This was a complete lack of communication, accountability, and professionalism. I would not recommend this location to anyone, especially if you’re dealing with something serious like transmission work.
10/10 service, the guys were so kind and went out of their way to get a nail out of my tire and patched up to hold me over until my tire place could get me in!
I recently replaced the Dana 44 in the ass end of my Jeep with a 60, so I needed to have the rear driveshaft shortened.
When I showed up and Andrew had a dip in, I knew I was at the right spot. Gave him measurements from both sides of my diff yoke (high and low). Without skipping a beat, he threw back the correct average. 2.5 days later, he called to let me know he’d shortened my driveshaft and I could pick it up whenever.
That was just today, so I haven’t reinstalled it yet, but the work looks solid - beautiful weld and balanced.
These folks are legit. Good people and good work.
Unreal service. I needed a odd ball drive shaft that they could not work on. They still took the time to look for a replacement and told me what to look for due to it being so odd. I
Had the best Parts tech work with me this am. Mr Vincent Otey… Needed a simple part that was so important to our Well Drilling operation to continue. He Took the time to tell me my options, and took the time to send pictures of the part to make sure it was what i needed. Great Service and knowledge!!! Thank you Mr Otey. ??
ask prices to others! to get an idea. I am a client of truck pro, and I have never had a problem. an "air bag" they definitely judge you by your appearance , double price! and bad attitude, to start the morning
Great places to get your parts, friendly staff, and they actually know what they are doing. I went in there looking for parts for a my transmission, and Earl knew exactly what I needed without looking at the computer, best parts person I have ever dealt with. He went the extra mile to make sure I had all the parts I needed!!!! I never leave reviews, but Earl is the best hands down!!!!
It's the go to place for all of my dump truck parts, if you have the part number or serial number they will have the part pulled and ready for you to come and get. This staff is amazing
Pump that we bought wasn’t working properly.
They said they wouldn’t take it back bc it was already put on the truck. They told us to come by Saturday to look at the pump. The store was open but NOT the shop which was extremely inconvenient. We drove an hour down.
Put a clutch in my dump truck that it did not need than told me to have it towed out after charging me 4000 plus 500 dollar tow bill read some forms put a 80 dollar sensor on the truck fixed it not a happy person
Johnny and his staff go above and beyond to trouble-shoot, problem-solve, and then get it RIGHT when other shops have made a disaster of it. A huge thank you to the Service Dept. for their knowledge, expertise, top-notch dedication, and thorough customer service in getting a hurricane emergency services vehicle back on the road—FAST.
