I had smileys come out to my house today and replace my 03 Isuzu for a great price. The guys that came out were very respectful, fast, and easy going to deal with. 10/10 would recommend again if your needing a windshield done in a short amount of time you got your company. Thank you guys.

Professional & honest, totally covered by insurance but I would have gladly paid more than the full charge on the invoice as it was less than previous windshield replacements that did not require calibration of lane assist and did not look as good when finished They are honest and I appreciate that over telling me what I want to hear, due to the lane assist had to be done at their shop, still painless and fast

Smiley's commits fraud. In 2024, these crooks charged my insurance company 600 bucks to replace three plastic trim panels as part of a windshield replacement. A year later in 2025, I had another cracked windshield, and found Smiley's had reused the original trim panels and glued them in place. They say they care about their customers, but it seems they only care about their wallets. Don't give them your business unless you want to be lied to and cheated.

Went there to see if they can help with the issue of my car, the store manager Tim was very nice and helpful and he didn't even charge for the minor fix. Super grateful! Will definitely recommend and return if needed.

My first experience with Smiley’s on Forest Hill was truly unforgettable—in the best way. I had my front windshield replaced on my 2025 Chevy Trax at a different glass company entirely, and when I picked up my vehicle, I immediately noticed the windshield had been installed incorrectly. When I pointed it out to the front-desk employee, I was met with rude, condescending remarks and was essentially told the misalignment was my fault. He informed me that if I wanted it corrected, I would need to submit a brand-new claim, despite the fact that they had already charged my insurance company and charged me an additional $209 out of pocket. After reading reviews of the other shop online that night, I knew I needed help—so I called Smiley’s the next morning hoping they could at least look at the damage. Lorri answered the phone, and from the moment she spoke, she immediately took care of me. She asked me to come in right away and bring all the paperwork from the previous shop so she could speak directly with my insurance company and work to get a full replacement done with Smiley’s at no cost to me. I can’t put into words how validated, supported, and relieved I felt. By the time I arrived, her manager was already aware of the situation. While I was there, Lorri called my dealership to confirm part numbers, contacted my insurance company, and patiently navigated every step needed to make this right. The manager (a former installer) and another installer also came out to inspect my windshield. Before I could even explain the issue, they immediately noticed several problems—most concerning, that the driver-side corner sat higher than the roofline while the passenger side was sunken in. They explained this could easily lead to water leaks and long-term damage. Without hesitation, they reassured me: “We can take care of you. We’ll order a new OEM windshield and redo everything from scratch to make sure it’s done correctly.” From start to finish, the level of care, professionalism, and compassion at Smiley’s was outstanding. LORRI IS INCREDIBLE. She was exactly what I needed on a very stressful day, and she didn’t even know me. Her kindness, dedication, and customer service are absolutely unmatched. I’ve already recommended Smiley’s to friends and family for any glass repairs or replacements. I’ll be updating my review once my windshield is replaced!

The workmanship was great. The employees were nice very, very kind and knowledgeable. I felt that they had my best interest at heart. Originally, they said it would take a couple hours. It did not. It only took about an hour and a half maybe less. They washed the car for me. Overall, they were just nice people. The office had a family vibe. It’s only been a day, but the work looks like it’s done properly. I will keep you posted.

I needed to replace the front windshield of our van. My first thought was Smiley's since I had used them twice before. I like that they are a small family-owned business that has be around for many years. This says a lot about the quality work that they do. The office staff was eager to helped me out by securing coverage/payment through the insurance company. We made an in-shop appointment for the next day. And I had a new windshield within a hour of driving in. It couldn't have been easier. Everyone was professional and courteous. I was very pleased with the service I received that Smiley's

Smileys beat a quote from a national competitor by a few hundred dollars. This is a family owned Richmond Business that has and will continue to receive my business.

Warning for Volvos with cameras. Had to spend hundreds at dealer to get Smiley's to honor their warranty after they installed a defective windshield. Smiley's software cannot read Volvos correctly. Not their fault it isn't compatible but they need to not accept Volvos if that's the case. 3 months, multiple visits to Smiley's and the dealer. I had zero problems before defective windshield, daily problems during the time defective windshield was installed, and zero problems once defective windshield was replaced. Smiley's witnessed and acknowledged these errors during a test drive because they were so frequent. But Smiley's still insisted it was a pre-existing issue with the car because their software says there's an error with the camera. Volvo software and the car itself tell a completely different story. Volvo software even pointed to the exact issue with the defective windshield (the heat strips in front of the camera area on the windshield). I wouldn't have written a bad review and would have just chalked it up to unfortunate circumstances, but they have stopped responding to me. No reason for it - everyone on my side and theirs had been very polite and reasonable up to this point. I had used Smiley's before several times and would still say they're great for older cars (or possibly new cars that aren't Volvos). The main issue really is they should not be accepting Volvos if their software isn't compatible.

This place is expensive. Their quote was almost double any other quote I got. Insane. They said $460. Almost every other quote was between $200-350. AND YES. Every other company also offered life time warranties. Some even had services where they would come to you for under $400. Don’t know why you would ever choose these guys Maybe they have the best glass in all of Virginia but I don’t know how to find that out. I would rather replace the window twice with someone for $200 and still ave $50. But maybe I’m cheap. Or maybe they are just money hungry. Recommend calling around

Superb service employees! Edward and Brandon just finished replacing my windshield and the customer service they both provided was outstanding. Besides explaining the process of replacing the window, both asked questions about the after-build items I had installed around the windshield to ensure that they continued functioning properly. Their communication was clear, friendly, and informative. I would recommend using Smiley's rather than any other company, especially for auto glass repair!

Smiley's saved me! I needed some help with the gaskets and chrome trim on my old Dodge Dart sedan's windshield and back window. Laurie kindly directed me to Peyton's care, and it's like new now! He took his time, and its shows. Thank you so much, I will only visit (and recommend!) Smiley's from now on for my glass needs.

Wouldn’t honor warranty. At first it was because I wasn’t the one that had the previous windshield replaced there. Then, they could see point of impact, which voids the warranty. Please show me the impact. They would never get my business.

Our insurance tried to steer us towards the major nationwide chain of auto glass repair shops, but from hearing their radio ads and checking out the reviews we went with Smileys. We're glad we did! Did a great job with communication and got us in quickly. The team did a fantastic job with the replacement and ADAS calibration. Only complaint is their location can be a little tough to get in and out of. Will definitely be back if we need another windshield replacement. Thanks!

What a great team at Smiley's Glass. I recently had a windshield replaced. Lorri made sure I had the "75th Anniversary" edition glass to match the existing. It's a small detail, but it matters to me. We had a little hiccup along the way, but Peyton and the crew, including Peyton's brother made things right. I'm more than satisfied with the entire experience. Great communication, excellent craftsmanship, honest, and respectable. Keep it up guys, don't let up for just a minute. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

This place is great. Ashley and Lorie were quick and responsive. I got my glass changed quickly and exactly for the price quoted. The office waiting area was comfortable and there was no up-sale pressure. Great experience. I have already had two friends call for service

Thank you to Ashley and Peyton at Smileys for fixing my cars windshield! When driving back from Philly, my car got hit by a rock and it immediately splintered. I waited until it was closer to my inspection date to get it replaced. I dropped off my car a day before my appointment at Smileys and picked up a day after it was ready, and they kept it safe in their lot. I did not have a flat surface for my car to get worked on at home. They were efficient, cost effective, worked great with my insurance, and left me smiling! Thank you Ashley and Peyton!

My experience at Smileys exceeded my expectations. Not only did I get a new windshield, the inside of my car was practically cleaned. My floor boards were vacuumed and my dash was wiped. Everyone was so friendly and upbeat. I'm so glad Ashley Oswald referred me to Smileys for my windshield repair.

Smiley's was fantastic to work with for my windshield replacement. They were able to get the OEM parts from Honda which was important to me due to it being an acoustic windshield that came with my truck. Progressive didn't include a $75 part and Smiley's let me know so I could go back to them. My claims adjuster apparently didn't believe me and called Smiley's themselves. The office manager, Tim, spoke to them and provided me with a copy of their invoice from Honda so that I can show hard-headed Progressive. Tim was very professional and polite and I'll certainly use them for any future glasswork I may need.

Had an fantastic experience with Smiley's. They walked me through the entire process, delivered final install quicker than promised and did a great job! My sales person was Ashley and she was amazing to work with!!! Go Smiley's!!

These guys do solid work! It’s my second window replacement and these guys did a great job once again. They are also local which is awesome. I also had a replacement window done by Safelite and they didn’t seal my windshield so it leaked and had major sound issues. That’s why I choose Smileys because of the professionalism and I’ve never any issues.

I submitted an online quote request to have my daughter's windshield replaced. They were very responsive in following up with me immediately after my request was submitted in addition to additional correspondence over the course of the next few days whereas one company never responded to my online request and another company responded several days after my request. I found the pricing to be reasonable and chose Smiley's mainly due to their responsiveness and excellent reviews online. Two gentlemen showed up to perform the repair and both were very friendly and had the windshield replaced in less than an hour. I'm very pleased overall with both the customer service and timeliness and would most certainly use Smiley's again.
