It was easy to find what I needed with Marsheas Ps help! She came outside and put a new battery in for me quick & easy on a cold rainy day, I’m very grateful. Definitely will be back!

Nate is an awesome employee and he's pretty funny. On top of that. He helped me install a very difficult to reach battery. He definitely went the extra mile. Another store I had originally called said with my particular car I would have to take it to a service shop for them to remove parts to get to the battery. Nate was like" I got this" and he did.

Mathew was extremely helpful and professional at the chamberlayne ave richmond location. From switching my batterie to even getting locked out of my car. I felt I was in good hands thanks to him!

I don't normally write reviews online, but I couldn't go without expressing my gratitude for this team. CJ in particular helped install a new battery for a Jeep Renegade, a process that's become more difficult with newer cars. I'm sure there's an argument grounded in engineering principles for this, but it doesn't change the fact that many places would have you go find your own mechanic to pay for what used to be simple installations. More significantly, I had the battery replaced after several never-before-seen warning indicators came on at once, which suggested to me an electrical issue. Unfortunately, the problem wasn't resolved with a simple battery fix (no worries; it was time to change it regardless). As I was about to leave, CJ offered to run a diagnostic check, which yielded all the information I needed to uncover the (very specific) problem. Although CJ helped me firsthand, I would also like to note the sheer comradery among the workers there. Another gentleman (didn't catch his name) offered his opinion as well for the unprecedented issue I was facing. Everyone was highly respectful and friendly, even on a chilly evening before the weekend. I have found such traits to be increasingly rarer in workplaces as the years go by, and this place reminded me of a better time. It will be my go-to auto shop for the foreseeable future.

I had a great experience at this AutoZone. Garret, Matthew, and Ms. Nina we’re so kind and helpful in helping me with my key fobs batteries. Their patience and kindness was greatly appreciate it and I just wanted to give them a shout out for wonderful customer service. Thank you so much you guys are the best next time I am in Richmond and have some car care needs you will be my first stop. Thank you again.

Cj B was very helpful! He helped me instal my new key fob battery. He noticed my screw was loose so he taped it up for me so it wouldn’t fall out (I asked him too). Amazing service very helpful given that I am a young lady who doesn’t know much about cars.

I want to give a huge shoutout to Tony H. at AutoZone. After spending hours trying to return tools through another store and running into PayPal issues, I was completely drained and frustrated. Thankfully, Tony stepped in and turned the whole experience around. Tony was professional, knowledgeable, and determined to help. What had taken me hours elsewhere, he handled in just 15–20 minutes. He knew exactly what needed to be done, walked me through the process, and made everything smooth and stress-free. Tony truly went above and beyond, showing what great customer service should look like. He turned what had been a frustrating situation into a positive one, and I left the store relieved and extremely grateful. AutoZone is lucky to have Tony! TLDR: Tony H. was outstanding! After struggling for hours at another store trying to return tools with PayPal issues, Tony got everything done in just 15 minutes. Super helpful, knowledgeable, and professional—he completely turned a frustrating situation into a smooth experience. AutoZone is lucky to have him!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience at this AutoZone location. The staff was very supportive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to help me find exactly what I needed. Their customer service is top-notch, and they made the whole process quick and easy. Definitely a 5-star customer satisfaction experience!

Ken Williams gave amazing customer service by taking care of a technical problem I had with my return. He went above and beyond to solve my problem with a positive attitude. He helped other customers coming into the store, calling over the phone, meanwhile prioritizing my concerns. He is very patient and his efforts were greatly appreciated along with the store manager. Highly recommended this location for any auto parts

This is a late review; however, we wanted to shout out Dominic who works at this store and helped us greatly a few months ago in May when the battery for one of our cars went out. Dominic was respectful, attentive, welcoming, knowledgeable and efficient during the entire process to ensure we got the new battery installed promptly. You can also tell he enjoys his job from the way he interacts with the customers. We would highly recommend being assisted by him, if you are visiting this store. Thank you, Dominic for your impeccable customer service! We will return to this store whenever we are back in Richmond. Keep up the great work!!

In addition to helping me with my issue when I visited the store today, Mr. Tremane went above and above to ensure that I completed every step required to resolve it. He is an incredibly amazing employee.

100% this place deserves five stars for the sole fact that I have been in Richmond for the past 2 years now and out of every single auto store from O'Reilly's to advance to an AutoZone even nobody and I mean nobody but this location greets anyone at the door this is the only location that greets people at the door the most amazing customer service super fast and friendly if you need an auto store you should only do business with these fine gentlemen they will get you in and out and they will make you feel good about yourselves as well

Went into return a battery core, a 2 minute procedure. Waited for 15 minutes for anyone of the 5 employees "working" there to ask if I needed help while I stood at the register. A gentlemen of the same race as the employees, who came in after me, was helped right away. If you appreciate customer service-shop elsewhere!

Not surprised to see the good reviews at this location! They were slammed after work today. My husband and I came to get me a new battery. They tested it, got a new one in there. Some confusion, but absolutely nothing they didn’t make right. Lainey and Tony were both very helpful and very kind!

Angel took the best care of me today. She was kind, thoughtful, and gave me a bunch of tips on how to better take care of my car and stay safe on the road. Thanks! This has become my go-to store because y'all are always lookin out!

Tony H helped me put a new air filter in my Ford Edge car and was very knowledgeable. He went above and beyond when he really didn’t have to. It was so a blessed to interact with such a kind spirit. The store is lucky to have him!

Love this spot the hole crew at this store 1024 great customer service and if u have a problem with your car this is the autozone u want to go to they will most definitely make sure your car is right and if you need a person to repair it on the spot they have a line of Certified mechanics that can come and take care of u on the spot

A couple of days ago I went to this store needing help about my radiator in my Infiniti I was helped by an absolute wonderful person named will , he was sooo informative and took the time to tell me something’s about my car that I didn’t know and wasn’t aware of. Great customer service!!! I went there because my headlights were flickering. They tested my battery and it failed. They changed it quickly and efficiently. Angel and David are awesome, go to them for help!!!

I had the best experience at Auto Zone! I do not know anything about cars. My car battery broke down in the parking lot and I worked with Odie who went above and beyond with excellent customer service, guidance, and appropriate reassurance! I am so beyond thankful, especially for Odie!! It was a freezing day, he didn’t complain, and he treated me with such kindness and compassion! I wish I could do more for him in return. IF YOU GO TO THIS LOCATION ODIE IS YOUR GO TO!! I’ve never had such an excellent experience.

Lost an item under the front seat of the car and needed the tools to remove it and employee helped us find the right size and tools. He assisted us in testing the size on the seat before buying it / needing returns and was extremely helpful! Very grateful for their high levels of customer service.

I've been to this store twice and both times the customer service was absolutely excellent. The associates really go above and beyond to be helpful. Tonight the associate helping me replace my headlight came out in the rain and cold to do the installation when all I asked for was for him to confirm I had the right model of bulb. Really incredible service.
