From the moment you enter you feel less like a customer and more like a welcome guest! You are warmly greeted immediately upon arrival, no lines, no waiting! Staff is friendly, respectful, and the efficiency with which they operate is like a well-oiled machine--pun intended! How refreshing to hear employees actually enjoying their work! I also really appreciated the text service they provide with updates and a breakdown of service provided. The mechanic was respectful and made sure I understood everything and asked if I had any other questions. Fantastic experience beginning to end!!Looks like I've found the best place to service our vehicles. One visit to Midas Short Pump has made me a customer for life. Great job guys, THANK YOU!!!

I’ve been meaning to write this review ever since I moved to the RVA area. When I found Midas of Short Pump, I knew I found a local gem. This auto shop is amazing. I am not a car person and find auto stuff to often be intimidating. The people here are full of knowledge and patience. They take their time to ask and answer questions and clearly enjoy and take pride in their jobs. The service crew is always friendly and easy to interact with. And the front office trio (Geri, Amanda and pup Rhoades!) always have a smile on their faces and helpful advice when needed. Today, while I waited for my car inspection to be done, I overheard a number of phone calls Amanda and Geri fielded. No matter the question or need, they treated each customer with respect, kindness and professionalism. And did I mention Rhoades? How many places can you go and be greeted by a handsome sweet pup (who clearly has everyone in that shop wrapped around his paw!) From basic oil changes to all sorts of services needs, Midas Short Pump is always the place I go to and recommend for all my family’s vehicle needs. Go visit this group…you won’t be disappointed.

Was given a free loaner while my car was worked on. Staff worked to find that one of the issues with my car was under an extended warranty at the dealership. Midas saved me a lot of money. 100% would recommend this to anyone looking for an honest and professional place to take their car.

I’ve been going to Midas for 12 years now, my mom has been going even longer. Every time they deliver the best service. Everyone there is incredibly helpful and they really take their time to communicate with you when issues arise. They provide quality work and made sure that my car would last for a long time. Brad specifically has been the go to guy to work on my, my mom’s, and sister’s car for the past 10 years. He even helped get my car towed once. They deliver quality service at a fair price. Midas truly gives you that “family mechanic shop” feel. I don’t trust anyone else to work on my car.

I had my car towed here after a rough week in which my car had issues starting then when it did start, had the check engine and traction control lights come on. I was afraid something was very wrong, but Midas thoroughly checked out my car and gave me peace of mind. I really appreciate them being able to fit me in. Very helpful and nice people! They really care about getting you back in your vehicle as quickly as possible.

I have been having my vehicles serviced by the team at Midas for years and have appreciated their professionalism and willingness to help no matter what. I have a 2008 Audi TT Quattro 3.2. It needed a new Inspection. Every staff member that communicated with me was very professional and accommodating. My initial call for an appointment was with Amanda. She greeted me and within seconds my car was being taken care of. The details of my inspection and any service discoveries were handled with professionalism...clear and upfront with the costs associated. Finishing my transaction, I worked with Adam. Again, the entire staff was just incredibly welcoming and easy to communicate with. My mom owns a 2018 Audi A5 Sportback...I have recommended to her that she change from using Audi to Midas (Short Pump).

Really impressed with my experience at Midas. Even though they couldn’t pinpoint a definite issue (which I’m hoping means nothing’s wrong), they still chose to keep my car to look it over thoroughly and set me up with a loaner. Above and beyond service, highly recommend.

My car was in desperate need of replacement brakes and tires but I was tight on money. Midas got the job done fast and offered financing so that I could get all the repairs my vehicle needed. The staff here are friendly and always provide great service. The Short Pump location has become a go to for myself and family for our vehicle repair and maintenance needs.

I made an appointment online for VA state inspection and was confirmed quickly by the service team. I arrived to my appointment early but the team moved quickly to work on the car. Great experience! Will definitely come back.

Midas is top notch. I take my personal vehicles and work truck to Midas for all my auto repairs / service needs. Amanda, Richard, Brad and whole team go above and beyond for exceptional customer service and support. They also text you the updated information on your service as they go with pictures as well - which helps you stay informed on what all is going on with your vehicle. I can’t say enough good things about this place! From their flexibility, customer service, quality of work, and their complimentary service cars you can borrow while your car is being worked on, everything about this business is top notch. I have, unwisely, gone to other shops out of convenience ( palaces that were close to my work), and every time I am reminded of how much above the rest Midas is. My most recent visit, they got me in immediately, I interacted with 3 different women at the front desk who were all wonderful, left with a service car so my day could continue as normal, and had regular updates and communications from Brad who was knowledgeable and gave me sound advice, and felt like someone I could trust. Even the guy who brought my car out when I was leaving was professional and had great customer service. I’ve been to a lot of of different auto repair shops and this place far exceeds the competition!

Love this place! They always take great care of my car and I never have to worry about being upsold on things that I don't need. Amanda is always there to greet you with a smile, and the whole team is very communicative and professional. Highly recommend!

The service I received from Mike and his crew at Midas in Shortpump was outstanding. I came in because I heard noise from my rear brakes. Mike advised me the noise was from my caliper, but it would be covered under my 24 month warranty. They replaced both my rear rotors and pads at no cost to me. Midas customer service was amazing. Midas is truly a gem. I recently went in for my annual vehicle inspection, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and went out of their way to accommodate my schedule. The service technicians were productive and professional. The work was quick, efficient, and completely no-nonsense. I left feeling confident in the quality of the service. This will definitely be my go-to auto shop moving forward. Highly recommended!

Within what seemed like minutes he was able to diagnose the transmission and track down a new one to get the ball rolling. The two way communication throughout the process was like nothing I had ever seen. Brad had my family and coolers full of deer meat underway in a loaner vehicle so we could spend Thanksgiving with my family. He stayed late to make sure that the programmer was able to connect the transmission to the truck. Friday morning, I was contacted and told my vehicle was ready for pick up. I was in the boating service industry for years and can tell you that a turn around like that is rare. Don’t waste your time or money anywhere else. I always have a great experience with Midas Short Pump. I requested a loaner car since I had a feeling my 2013 would need more than just an inspection & I was right. Having my service technician, Josh H, take pictures of everything about my car helped me better understand when Brad called to discuss the repairs that I needed to pass inspection and keep my car running smoothly. Geri took back the loaner car and finalized my payment with a smile. The friendly, efficient & knowledgeable staff makes having my car serviced a significantly better experience than it used to be. I really appreciate the Midas Short Pump team.

A Truly 5-Star Experience: Fast, Professional, and Respectful! I needed an appointment ASAP and was able to schedule one last night for this morning. The Midas team in Short Pump had me in the bay at 7:30 AM, diagnosed the issue, and the work was completely finished before I knew it. Talk about incredible turnaround speed! The experience was elevated by the exceptional customer service. Not only did they have plenty of loaner vehicles—and nice ones at that (I got to drive a 2025 Trailblazer today!)—but their communication system is flawless. The text messaging system kept me updated every step of the way. What truly set this Midas apart was the level of respect and professionalism. I'll admit I don't know much about cars, and I'm used to mechanics talking down to me, but the staff here took the time to clearly and kindly explain what was going on. I appreciated that honesty and transparency more than anything. Great work, great service, and a great experience all around. If there was anywhere I needed to pay my total, I'm glad it was here. Highly, highly recommend!

Was able to give me same-day service with a tire patch at the same time help my son who got a nail in the tire as we drove to the tire shop. Two young ladies upfront were great! Caring to our problem, sent an email invoice, followed up with a call…really just great service!!! And extremely reasonable on their rates and pricing!!! So a win-win for the customer!

From Brad to Mike T to Jacob, the service was unbeatable! The tow was dispatched and arrived to me within 10 minutes. The tire was repaired and I was ready to roll in less than 30 min. Midas goes above and beyond to make sure their customers are safe and happy.
