My car broke down at eight in the morning. I called 4 towing companies. Two never answered, one called back, and On Demand answered my call. They were able to get there in 45 min and the driver had my car on the flatbed in less than ten minutes. The rate was reasonable and they dropped it at the dealer for me. I would definitely recommend them based on my experience.

Yesterday I called AAA for roadside assistance- needed a tow to the dealership 5 miles away. They called these guys to come. Driver continuously lied about his ETA I waited SIX HOURS, no one came. Do NOT use this company! If AAA sends them, cancel it, hire a different company, and request reimbursement.

Completely awful! I left my car overnight at my JOB. The owner called them and told them NOT to tow my car...next day I show up to work and my car is gone. They took my car ILLEGALLY!! Didn't bring it back to me until 245pm. Extremely rude and all they could say was it mistake. How in the world do you accidentally STEAL someone's car???

You would think only thieves would steal your vehicle. Nope, this company scans parking lots at night and tow cars they're not supposed to. They towed my rental with Cali license plates saying they have expired tags when that's not so. They think I'm going to pay a dollar to get that rental out just because they're uneducated. Don't understand how this company is still in service.

They were supposed to be open on Sunday from 12 to 2. No one was there. We waited until 12:30 still no one was there. We left and came home. Later in the day I got a call that they were there and if I came now well within 30 minutes they would stay and I will be able to get my car out. State troopers are giving everyone 60 days on their inspection sticker and tags so my car really shouldn't have been towed. Also the sticker that they put on my car I don't know how I'm going to get all the gunk and glue off of my windshield.

There service is terrible and when they pick up your car they charge you a lot due to they don't open time don't pick up their phone so they can stretch out the time it's on the lot they also have bad manners and leaves pieces of vehicles on the middle of roads they are bad for business.

Put a warning sticker on my husbands company work vehicle with PA plates, the two men were so uninformed they weren’t aware you DO NOT HAVE TO HAVE GOOD TAG ON VEHICLES WITH PA PLATES AND WOULDNT REMOVE STICKER. Your company’s drivers should be educated and not argue with people and look up requirements before placing anything on vehicles. This company seems very unorganized and very weak with standards.

My u-haul and trailer was towed from my complex. I tried calling early next day and nobody answered or called me back. I went to the office at 3:45, which is 15 minutes before there closing time. The gentleman then answered the phone after multiple attempts of them declining the call. Then I was told I am being charged a late fee because I wasn’t there by 3:30 when the website clearly says 4:00. They charged me $320 for them towing my truck and $220 for a very small dolley trailer. Keep in mind a normal vehicle is only $160. This company is a scam and is not to be trusted

The tow driver was great and helped locating building due to gps incorrect. But, not being allowed to come inside building and wait in cold was not good. Also, drivers had an argument session in front of customers and inappropriate language used majorly. Not good look for waiting customers. Points of interest to take away. Manager needs to think more about a frustrated customer that is out in cold waiting for service. Secondly, manager needed to direct workers on etiquette when it comes to the workplace. But the driver that gave directions and also provided great service and best way to handle paying and retrieving vehicle acted the way a manager should have. He should be assistant manager in my book. Good luck

My 16 year old daughter was left stranded when her car stopped working. We had road side assistance and requested that they call a tow truck. We had to wait longer than expected due to a situation out of their control (the VA state police needed them). Once the guys arrived, they were very kind and apologetic to my daughter. They even stayed with her while she waited for an Uber to pick her up. My daughter couldn’t say enough how nice, and kind T (one of the drivers) was. T even called me to let me know that he just dropped the car at the dealer. Thanks!

I spoke with the owner and he has been working with me and my family while I'm stationed in Korea to get my car back to my moms house. Thanks on demand. Everyone has been professional and willing to work with us. Update: My car was picked up today and towed to my mom's house. The price was reasonable, they was on time, and communication was amazing. All around a great experience with these guys. Will definitely use again. Update 2: My mom needed my car moved back a little more. We called the guys again and guess what, came out the same day and moved it with no problem. It looks like their negative reviews are coming from the same apartments. If they are doing their job wrong the complex would of let them go. Obviously they are not. Keep up the good work ON DEMAND.

They like to make rules up on the fly. My car was parked in handicap (with the handicap sign visible) the space does not specify it being for resident or visitors so I can only believe that the space is for all handicap drivers. There defense is the none handicap space beside it says resident so that automatically would mean it’s for residence. Property manager tells me that they were suppose to come out and label all spaces but when it came to the handicap they didn’t have blue paint.

This business is not a BBB accredited. They offer poor services and poor management. If you are considering a contract with this establishment, reconsider. If you are considering using this establishment for any services, RECONSIDER. From my understanding they have been in business under Keisha Crawley for 12 years and as a suggestion they need to have a proper guideline and procedure available to those who fall victim to their services. If you decide to use this company, you will only fall into the piss-poor category of a business owner/business just as their current partners/contract holders have. Respectfully, the company is very ghetto and I would not recommend.

My car was being towed locally. It was in front of my home. I watched the guy tie my seat belt to the stearing wheel.. Finally when I got my car to the dealership. I found my dash was cracked. They refused to take any responsibility for the damage. Looks like I will see them in court. Andre said he was the owner and hung up on me.

On Demand Towing is the absolute worse tow company I have ever had to do business with! I am infuriated at their lack of professionalism and high propensity for being rude. Fist of all, they illegally towed my vehicle. The law says you must remove a vehicle that is stranded on the highway within 48hrs. But they had my car towed within 24hrs even though I clearly had a shirt hanging out the drivers window, signaling that the car wasn't abandoned. I had 24 more hours to remove the car myself. In actuality I just needed to have the tire changed because my tire blew on 295.Then when I called, they quoted me a price over the phone at $285. When I get there to recover my car, they have me waiting forever just to misquote my a grossly overinflated new quote of $480!!!!! I told them that I would not pay that but they had to honor the first quote they gave me. So they slammed the door in my face and made me wait again!!! Mind you Im pregnant and its storming outside. After about 15 minutes of waiting they come back outside and take my money and disappear again. After waiting again I got fed up and knocked on the door demanding my change and my ID back. They owed me $15. The guy claimed he was waiting on another guy to give it to him. But he wanted me to sign. I told him I would not sign anything until I received my ID and change. Thank goodness their dad pulled up and we got our change from him. They tried not to give me change! What type of business are they running? I'm completely dismayed at their lack of work ethic and professionalism. Do NOT USE THIS COMPANY and document everything when dealing with them! They will try to get over on you.

Very incredibly unprofessional and rude. Quite unscrupulous in their business practices. Very inconsiderate. After making customers wait for them for over two hours, they cannot even be patient and courteous. They do not treat people with respect. They prowl at night and take people’s cars from where they live during a pandemic and charge exorbitant prices to get the car back. They don’t care about people. They are empowered by building management who don’t think thins through.

Whoever was driving their ODT 10 truck tonight almost caused multiple accidents and blew through at least one light because they do not understand waiting for a break in traffic trying to make a turn. They cut off 4 different cars, and when we drove alongside to get the information of the business from the side of the truck whoever was in the passenger seat hurled threats and insults at us. Their website is nonexistent, their FB page is blank, and they are dangerous on the road. Their voice mail is full when you try to call. These are some shady , terrible people. Do not use them.

Damaged my car just towing it across the street! Young inexperienced operators figured it was just a short trip and didnt bother to strap the vehicle down, causing my car to roll on the truck and crash into the back of the bed. Make matters worse they disappeared for 5 mins with my car while thought of a way to drop it off without me noticing. Again from across the street! Owner came out to inspect the damage and said they would repair it, even gave me his word, now no one wants to answer the phone. Okay, Next call is to the Towing Commission and The Courts! Also, if Google would allow for Zero Stars that what it would be

This place has got to be one of the worst tow companies in the city of Richmond and surrounding areas. I cant give it a star because they are not only unprofessional but also have to be the rudest bunch of people I have ever seen. No wonder they aren't accredited by the BBB. Its got to be a way to run these clowns out of business because I haven't had 1 bad experience with them, I've had 2

On Thursday August 1 2019 my car was parked at the river road Terrance apartments located in southern chesterfield county in a place called ettrick . my car was towed at around 7:30. My 2006 honda accord with handicap plates i went there to drop some food to my 80 plus year old father. When i came out my car was gone. I called this company on demand to ask exactly where they were located and they told me 5341 old Midlothian turnpike . and i said i was on my to get my car .i was told that some one will meet me at the gate. Here is where the un professionalism begins. I arrived at the office, there was about 3 to 5 people or spectators in the room. The women whom was one of them was rolling her eyes and using her body language. Then she said i have nothing to do with your car being towed, from behind a desk in the office on the other side of the half door. Now young andre and i begin to conduct business. I look at the price sign and it says that chesterfield county cost $150 and he tells me that ettick is in surrounding areas and that will cost me $180. Plus an additional $ 35 for after hours .when andre told me when i first called that they close at 10pm . i arrives at the office 5341 old Midlothian turnpike at around 9pm . so i paid him $ 215 to get my car. Now we go outside and he unlocked the gate and it is pitch black and i say you can bring my car out ,and he said i need to bring it out my self and he went back there with my sister with a flash light. And guess what? My car is not there .Andre offered me many excuses why my car was not there. Didn't he know that when i called for directions or when he charged me $215 to get my car. Oh the spectator were still there. The lady behind the desk and others was still standing around i guess i was the joke for the night u til i said and did call the police, they got out of there like roaches. Where is my car . oh the truck. Tow broke down . so i say to the owner 1 how did i get here before my car and i came from ettick also 2.why didn't the tow truck driver report that to you 3. Now 9:30pm mt car has not shown up and again i ask where is my car 4. Now 10pm where is my car another excuse 5.10:30pm still no car and remember business hour end at 10pm and at 9pm i was charged after hour fees 6. 1045pm 3 hourand some later here comes my car Oh they had to find another tow truck to bring my car They gave me a bunch excuses never offered me any of my money back Beware beware This on demand company is not accredited by the better business bureau This company is a rip off And for the apartment development that hire Do not get caught up getting this company to work for you they are a rip off And Mr Andre the surrounding areas would be Hopewell Prince George Petersburg not ettrick do your home work.

ON Demand Towing is unscrupulous in their practices. They tow for unwarranted reasons and when proof is requested they blow you off. My personal property was taken out of my vehicle and I have asked to speak with the owner and left my phone number with no response. All who work there are unprofessional a give a bad name for small black owned businesses. DO NOT USE THEM you will regret it. I am consulting legal representation in the hopes of a class action suit. To do this I need additional wronged individuals. If I can not do a class action I will proceed with a suit on my own.

I am a Realtor from Florida who visited family in Dunston Manor West Saturday June 8. When my husband and I left attempted to leave Sunday morning at 3am, to begin our trek back to Florida, we found our vehicle was gone. We called the police as we thought our car was stolen. The police informed us our vehicle was towed. Please note, we were parked in the visitor designation. We waited until 11am to retrieve our vehicle from On Demand Towing and when asked why our vehicle was towed we were informed it was because our TIRE was touching the white line. Not that we were taking up 2 parking spots or over the white line, but our tire was TOUCHING the white line. I asked for proof of this violation and none was provided. I have been given the run around concerning this matter. I know our vehicle was targeted for having out of state plates. The fraudulent manner in which this company is ran is one of the reasons they ARE NOT backed by the BBB. If I could provide negative stars I would.

Parked here for months and this janky tow truck people towed my car on the sneak without any noise or lights, no warning. The guy Andre even went as far as saying they have ways of getting around making noise or alerting anyone. This company is crazy shady and is about squeezing money out of people in low end areas.

Very reliable & trustworthy service. I've had to have both of my vehicles towed a few times within a couple of month's & they were always right on time and the prices are lower than most. I never have to call any other company for my towing needs.

Thanks On Demand. I locked myself out of my car at Pizza Hut and On Demand was there within 15 minutes and retrieved my keys from my vehicle for me. Their customer service was exceptional compared to my previous experiences. I'd use their service anytime. Much appreciated.

The employees are incredibly rude and unhelpful. The first person I spoke to on the phone cursed at me and told me that I was wasting his time. The wrong address was listed on the website, so I called for the correct one after driving 30 minutes out of the way. When I arrived at the correct location, no one was in the office and the doors were locked. I called again and was told that someone would be there in 5-10 minutes. 25 minutes later, a man with his half naked child in the passenger seat pulled up and told me that I should be grateful he even showed up because they do not have hours on Saturday despite the giant sign on the gate that had Saturday hours posted and the employee on the phone who assured me that they did. He then got an attitude and claimed that he meant to say their office administrator was off that weekend as a feeble attempt to cover up his blatant lies. I have never seen such consistently horrible customer service from an entire company like this. My advice: go elsewhere and let these bottom-feeders go out of business.

This towing "business" (I use that word very loosely) is a predatory company and absolutely unprofessional. Crystal Lakes Townhomes hired this business to tow vehicles from their complex, but they should do away with their services. I was visiting my fiancé for the weekend and parked in the limited visitor spaces; we decide to leave to fill up my new truck before I headed back to my state in the morning. I see in the distance two men shining what looked to be lights on my vehicle, and I cut across the grass to see what was going on. These employees of the company stated that they were towing my vehicle due to an expired Virginia tag, and that Crystal Lakes gave them permission to do so whether it be tags, flat tires, and so on. If these gentlemen had taken the time to look at my tags, they would have noticed that my plates and stickers are for a different state. I explained to them that the sticker is void here in VA and in the state I currently reside in; it is stuck to the windshield, so I left it there. I had plans to get something to scrape it off with later; rules vary from state to state, and you two do not have the authority to take it. Consider the sticker invisible because the motor vehicle departments in both states do. So, he says I won't tow your car, but I will require a $50 drop fee. That was when I knew they were greedy and preying on my vehicle. I stated that I would not be paying them, and they told me they would call the police. I responded that this was "fine by me," and I would show the officer my registration and title. The officer came, I greeted him, and he ultimately told the men that there wasn't a problem. My plates and stickers were correct, and every state operates differently. Let her go. so, they removed the boot and slithered into the darkness like the snakes they are. Even the officer knew that was a despicable move. My time was wasted and, had my vehicle been taken, I would have gotten the courts involved. All of this happened around 9:45/10 p.m. on Sunday, August 27th, 2017. This is not a BBB accredited business. Apartment complexes should not use this towing company. Every business with the word "incorporated" after the name does not have exceptional customer service. Furthermore, Crystal Lakes claims that they never gave them permission to do that (not that they had the authority to). So either Crystal Lakes does not want to accept responsibility for the rules they set or On Demand Towing are vultures. Either way, this is unacceptable, and I will make certain that customers know about the level of unprofessionalism this place brings.
