Let me give you a quick story about my rep John. He is one of the most amazing people I have come across. My RV broke down on the side of the road and NOBODY had what we were looking for with a reasonable price. Mind you, I came from PA to buy the RV and the tires blew on the way back home. We were stranded for HOURS! I finally found John and he was sooo helpful and pleasant. Even listened to my life story when he didn’t have to and was busy. A Good Samaritan helped us take the rim off and waited at my RV and I called John to ask if he could do it right away because this was our only hope. John placed me on a brief hold and said get here and we will help you. I broke down in tears because of these two angels. I barely had any money left, hungry, and just exhausted and John and the Good Samaritan gave us the light we needed. THANK YOU JOHN! I don’t know what would have happened if it weren’t for you. You have hope when it was looking dim. Thank you!!!!
OVER PRICED. Go anywhere else. Hope this review saves you some hard earned money. Work completed but not honestly or well. Took hard advantage. The owner, Patrick, is a gaslighter, dishonest, and a disingenuous person in my opinion. Do not trust this place. You will be leveraged. Desperate for $$$ huh? They overcharged me $300 on record on a $4,656.13 bill and acted like it wasn't their problem. Promised me a $300 discount that never happened even though it states it on my bill. Mr. Patrick refused to make it right even after pointing out THEIR mistake. Patrick stated "all sales are final". Not even an apology for their mistake. His employees made 3 seperate false promises with no follow through. Patrick and John TOLD ME that they were doing me FAVORS!!! Are we serious?? Some expensive favors. What an Insulting statement. They were paid in FULL when they said this. Charged me TOP DOLLAR for one days work? Look at the bill I posted. They are $35/hr more expensive than most stealerships and don't honor their hourly! They heavily over charge per job so their hourly is +++ and total fraud. Tough to find an honest mechanic. This place is not one of them.
I went to Auto Rescue of Lakeside for my car inspection. The staff were friendly and professional, and they clearly explained what needed attention and why.
They offered options with transparent pricing and let me choose what worked best for me. The work was completed within two days. After the repair, my car feels like new. No more noise when turning the steering wheel, and the ride is noticeably smoother.
Overall, I appreciated the clear communication and quality of work. I had a great experience and would highly recommend them.
We had a snow and ice storm last week and my car battery died at home. AAA and most services were in emergency-only mode, so I called this shop because it was in my neighborhood.
The owner personally came out, helped get my car started, and made sure it was taken care of with a new battery and a full health check.
The kindness, professionalism, and integrity shown during the storm meant so much. Truly above and beyond. I highly recommend them!

I had an amazing experience with Auto Rescue in Lakeside! I needed to complete several maintenance repairs to my car. They created a tailored, customized plan centered around my needs. They gave me a much needed loaner car while the repairs were being completed. And mostly importantly, the price fit my budget. They gave professional recommendations and didn’t pressure me to do unnecessary services. I immediately scheduled a follow up appointment to address recommended future repairs because I fully trust they will get the job done right at an affordable price. Auto Rescue has always lookout for me. Those guys genuinely care about the up keep of my car. I like them because I get reminders of my upcoming inspection and when my oil changes are due. They are professional and always answers and explain any issues i have with my car. I trust them with my vehicle and if something is not right with a repair they rectify the situation quickly. Super friendly and professional staff. They really know what they’re talking about and went above and beyond to explain everything to me in detail about some minor things that were wrong with my car. As a woman, I know sometimes it can be daunting to go into an auto shop by yourself with very little knowledge on cars. I had a very smooth experience and I will be back in the future!!

I have never felt more informed and taken care of! I have had my share of garages try to scam me or upsell me or charge me more for parts. Not here. Patrick walked me through a detailed inspection, answered all my questions, and worked with my budget to make sure the repairs didn’t break the bank! Could not recommend any higher this establishment .

I would never take my vehicle here again. The first time I brought it in was for an oil change. The next day the also guard under the car fell down. I brought it back and they refused to accept that they didn't secure it. They fixed, but made it seem like I crawled under my car and loosened the bolt or something. The second time I brought it in was for tire. They charged me almost twice what I could've paid elsewhere. Not only that, but my alignment was off. I had to bring it back. I made an appointment for the morning, but they didn't get to it until the end of the day. I had to go out of town in the morning, so they rushed to do the alignment again. It still wasn't right in the morning. I had to take it somewhere else to get it done right.
The team here was very friendly and kind to me after having a terrible encounter with a different business. They really explain and show you want needs to be fixed and what could use replacing to enhance your car's life span. I'm really glad I was referred to them.
Went to Auto Rescue for a state inspection came out with an rejection sticker, due to their fraudulent activity like removing certain fuses out of my fuse box, claiming that I needed rear side marker bulbs replaced, and repair to my vehicle horn, and tires. I replaced all my fuses, and now everything up and running with no problems. They did a pre-check auto inspection , invoice cost came up to $6500 parts and labor. A big scam, be aware about going to this location!
This shop is top-notch! They really helped me out when I was in a bind back in February. I was Googling for a place early one morning, and when I called, Jake told me to bring my car right in. I was pulling up as we spoke. They do a health check that’s soooo thorough, with pictures and clear explanations, which I really appreciate as someone who isn’t a car person. I can’t recommend them enough.
HIGHLY recommend this place! They have a bright, clean, comfortable, welcoming setting… with very helpful, professional, knowledgeable & friendly staff members! They squeezed me in, last-minute, for a state inspection and included a first-time customer “car health” diagnostic evaluation. I will DEFINITELY be going back here for future service & repairs!!!

While on a trip to Charlotte, North Carolina, I had a tire that was losing air even though I had pumped air in the tire no more than five minutes. It had gone down in my TPS system showed me that my tire was low at that time I knew I had something wrong with that tire And thought it just needed to be patched. Well I stopped off at the tire company will repair facility in Richmond and told them of my situation. Also told them that I was on the road and couldn’t leave the car or anything like that when I had told them that they said we will get on it as soon as possible. They replaced my tire within two hours and got me on my way.
I am here from out of town with a flat tire. Patrick went out of hood way to pick up the tire I needed (in his own car) to get me on my way quickly. Every person here is kind- listening to Jake speak to customers in the shop and on the phone - I am so impressed at his demeanor. My son is here for college, will keep this place in mind of we ever need car maintenance

Auto Rescue is a great local company to get your vehicle serviced. Patrick and the team give A+ service at this location. They have great customer service and are very knowledgeable on diagnosing your cars needs. As well as preventative maintenance. Overall i had a great experience there. It was my 2nd visit and definitely look forward to bringing my vehicle there and feel comfortable doing so. They also detailed my vehicle when it was ready for pickup. That was a really nice touch. Went in for a diagnostics test, and they found the main issue. Patrick & I took my car for a test drive so that he could better discuss what’s been happening with the other staff. Jake was also extremely helpful with going into detail to insure that the problem was understood. The 2 are extremely helpful when it comes to making sure the customer is aware and satisfied. Bryan was helpful as well, helping me to make other arrangements for my appointment. Resulting in a negative outcome, but that’s ok… my car is an older model & has ran its course. I give them their credit and when in need again, I’ll be sure to make my way back.
Textbook experience: fair prices, honest assessments, premium parts, constant communication. Additionally, fixed some issues other shops quoted 2-3x the cost to replace instead. Grateful. If Ford won’t take your Ford, push it here.
I went here over a year ago to get some AC work done. At first they replace the wrong blend door actuator for my AC system so I had to bring the car back to get it re-fixed. When they placed in the new actuator they didn’t screw it in just left it unscrewed. I went just now because it stopped working again, come to find out it wasn’t screwed so the gear eventually broke off. And now I can’t put the new one in because I don’t have the screw they forgot to reinstall. They charged an arm and leg just to mess up 2 times !!!! Now I’m stuck with a problem trying to find screw replacements and can’t pass my state inspection until I get this fixed.
After my car broke down in Richmond, this shop made sure I was safe and all my needs were taken care of. Jake from the shop explained everything so I really understood what was going on and helped me with future issues that need to be addressed. They turned a very stressful situation into a manageable one. Would return to this place and have more work done in my car. Extra bonus shout out for helping me get a shuttle service back to shop since I did not know area.
*UPDATE* I have recently returned to this shop to have additional work done and again, an outstanding experience with top notch customer service and support. They helped me prioritize work that needed to be completed and were forthcoming with cost and time it would take. Shout out this time to Anthony and his constant communication and contact with me. He made me feel valued and wanted to ensure I understood what was being done and why. I recommend this place for service to your vehicle.
Vehicle engine light had been on for a while after taking it to Parks Chevrolet dealership and they had my car for 2 days and couldn't figure out the problem. I ended up paying over $600 and my engine light was still on. Took my vehicle in to Auto Rescue on Thursday morning by 12 noon, they had a through diagnostic review with total pricing and suggested other items to be fixed. However parts wouldn't be delivered until Monday. I agreed to have them fix it but I needed my vehicle for the week end and would bring it back. They were concerned I would do more damage so to my surprise they offered a loaner. (Dealership couldn't even do that). I picked up the loaner without issues and my car was ready Monday evening. This has been the best experience I the have ever had with any car repairs. Customer Service is #1. They have a customer for life. Thanks Jake, Antonio and staff. Took off 1 star because my carpeted floor mat was extremely soiled with black stuff ( I'm assuming grease from the mechanics)
Update: Auto Rescue detailed my car, to correct the issue of my soiled car mats. Customer service is everything 5⭐. Thanks
