So I've been going there for a long time now everything seem to be going pretty well until the last few times I went I started noticing that I just didn't seem to be getting what I was bringing in in weight the last two tickets didn't contain several items that I brought in and that they were trying to hurry along and get everything done which led to you know quite a few of my items not being put on the ticket which led to me not getting paid for nearly what I thought I was going to for instance today I brought an outdoor outdoor units worth of copper and aluminum and radiators the whole line set that ran from outside to upstairs inside and all the copper from two small refrigerators the sealed units from all of them and lots of other stuff too regular steel I walked out of there with right at $100 which is ridiculous they said I had 6 lb of copper when I had well over 16;wached them weigh it and said 12 lbs they wrote 6 on my ticket my number 2 copper did 6 pounds didn't make it to the ticket things like that
lb when I came in there I know I waited myself yeah they're my ticket was saying I only had 5 or 6 lb of copper was really ridiculous in the previous sound I went in he said that I had four things on my ticket when I had brought seven things seven different items in I told the guy out front about it and he was like kind of made fun of me for complaining about it and then went back there and they gave me the lowest amount of weight possible for one of the three items that I was missing and then it's kind of wrote me off and didn't say anything else about it yes you know acted like my measly few dollars was too good for them or whatever but I won't be going back there again giving three stars because the service was okay up until this point
I'm a first-time customer here. Smooth transaction, friendly staff, and fair price for your scrap metal. I do recommend and will be coming back next time.
They consistently throw items in with the "general steel" that have higher scrap value. They also round down (i.e. 1040 lbs of steel rounded to 1000) when they already offer the lowest steel price in town. The owner also insinuated that I had stolen some of the scrap metal I brought in, which I didn't appreciate. They would also get mad at me for showing up at 4:45, when they close at 5. If you want to close at 4:45 change your hours to close at 4:45. Go somewhere else.
Good friendly place to take your recycling. You can drive right up and they will offload it for you weigh it and you go around front and they pay you cash. Always a good experience going there.
Came in with a small Honda civic. Felt ridiculous, but the employees didn't care. They were worried the trim may get scratched. Fast transaction, do recommend.
