Absolutely amazing customer service well on timing very thorough homework and when I got in to pick my truck up at the end of the day, there was a little note which really made my day… note said thank you Melissa drive save you are importance..,, will be going to this shape for now on very nice people very nice work

I chose this place mainly due to its proximity to my home. I'm newer to the area and this was the first time I've needed to take the car to a shop here in Richmond. Everything was top notch. I'll be bringing my cars to Art's for any and all my automotive needs!

I would give 0 stars if I could. Took my truck there for a slipping transmission. They went ahead and “diagnosed” it and told me that all the gaskets were gone. I reiterated and asked numerous times to MAKE SURE THE TRANSMISSION WAS GOOD. They said no codes or anything came up and they drove it and it was fine. Got my truck back and not even 200 miles trans went out again. NOW THEY TELL ME IT IS THE TRANS AFTER I PAID $4,000 for all the work 3 days prior and was told trans was good. They drained the fluid? And it looked good? Before putting the trans pan gasket in? Hmm? Then the new diag….. they HAD TO REPLACE A FUSE TO EVEN SCAN SO HOW DIS THEY DIAG THE FIRST TIME?? Hmm now they drove my truck and it was slipping when I got there now I have 2 gears from their test drive and they want another &4,500 to change the trans…. I FREAKING CAME IN THE FIRST PLACE FOR TRANSMISSION WORK. I was recommended here and they had good reviews. But other than a freaking oil change or something simple. I wouldn’t date your time or money. I spent $4,000 less than a week ago and as I just got home 15 minutes ago I now have a 5,500 lb paper weight because they either cannot diagnose correctly or thoroughly or they figured they’d jus get a few thousand off a schmuck like me. If you love your vehicle, do not take it to these people. Their solution by the way- because they did offer me one…. WAS INSULTING TO SAY THE LEAST.

I was a new customer at Art's. I was happy with the great service! I believe the first person you encounter sets the stage for a good experience. David was excellent and exemplary in his friendliness and his ability to communicate the process. I liked the digital vehicle inspection to identify any maintenence issues. The waiting area was very clean...one of the best I have experienced. I was here for a state inspection. David explained the vehicle and digital inspection in detail and maintenance items coming up. It was a great experience for me. David was the only person I met so again I recognize his ability to convey customer first attitude.

Always a pleasant experience and interaction when bringing my Jeep to Arts. I’ve come in for brakes and oil changes in the past and most recently came in for a state inspection. Everyone working there is consistent, knowledgeable and thorough when discussing recommendations for service. Not pushy or aggressive like so many other automotive shops and I greatly appreciate that! Really great customer service overall and a very clean and comfy waiting room area. Also, when planned ahead, they offer a shuttle service if you’re not traveling too far. Thanks Arts Automotive!

Front desk is always kind and welcoming. I can always rely on the quality service and at a fair price. Art's has also gone the extra mile for me helping me get an odd smell out of a vehicle we recently acquired and I couldn't thank them enough for that! I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family.

This was probably the best shop experience I've ever had. I knew my vehicle needed brakes, I was worried about the estimate and using the ways provided by the Arts team to 90 day finance. I was prepared for this. I brought the vehicle in advance the end of the day on a Tuesday. I got a call around noon on Wednesday that the noise I was hearing was only the rear brakes, the front brakes being fine. I came to this shop as Id had a positive experience in the past, so I figured why not bring it back. With the price only being half of the original quote, I didnt have to finance and had my car back that same Wednesday and its running great. I will be using this shop in the future, and most likely every tyme for the life remaining on this vehicle, which with upkeep I should get another 5-8 yrs our of. Definitely, if you live in this area, this shop is trustworthy and worth the tyme and money spent. Tell them Tyler sent you, or you saw my review. David is at front desk and Robbie is shop manager, but Trevor, Yoshida, the whole team is awesome. Already plotting the next repair needed as I have a small issue I need taken care of, but there pricing and labor is more than fair. Thank you guys. They even paid for my Uber home when I dropped my car off. Like I said, best shop experience ever.

I felt not just like a customer but a valued customer. They were attentive to my concern, did not rush me to make the decision, offered me options for payment, I felt very comfortable with their price and I knew their work would be done correctly...as I had been to them before. That says a lot. Oh! and they drove me back and forth as needed, their establishment is supper clean with goodies to nibble one.They took large photos of the work needed to better explain the issue. I must say honestly, they claim to be a family establisment...they are, and I am in for as long as they are there.

I brought my Toyota Corolla for my 60k maintenance. David is very personable and called to arrange a ride home for me. I will be returning! Also, Thank you for the coupons ?

Friendly customer service. I went in for a state inspection. They provided me with a list of minor issues that should be addressed in the near future with an affordable estimate. I ended up getting my rear brakes addressed along with my back windshield wiper and oil change which didn’t cost too much. I will be returning as a customer and referring my friends who are in desperate need of a reliable and affordable mechanic.

Art’s dis a great job repairing our car. Fair pricing, and they stood by their warranty on all parts. We had a bad battery and it was replaced free of charge.

Art’s Automotive did a good job with my state inspection. Another shop had a 25 day wait for an appointment. Art’s took care of me with only a little wait. Plus they were very polite and cordial.

Always a good experience when I dreadfully have to have my car serviced. This place makes the hassle of car issues not a hassle at all. Their professionalism and genuine caring attitude keeps the fact you have to have your car in the shop not an unpleasant situation. Thanks to all their staff for another good visit. Now, I can hit the brakes without a terrible “wobbly stumble” to a stop.

Art’s did a great job with my exhaust repair, they were fair, transparent, and got me a quote/repair within two days. Definitely recommend their service.

As the shop’s name implies, there is an art to working and operating a business in the automobile service industry. Depending on the degree of the work required, especially with newer car models, car owners in need of evaluation or maintenance for their vehicles have few options. Auto Industry Dealerships have the access to standard techniques but they exist in a sales industry so fears abound that they are always attempting to get you in a new car - or charge the same in repairs. Meanwhile, smaller shops carry a local community, service station and may charge lower prices, there is still a concern as you drive away of whether you got what you paid for, as anyone who has had to take their car back to the garage in a week can attest. Plus, they don’t offer the same amenities as dealerships, which can make the choice to wait for your service to get completed uncomfortable. Art’s Automotive Service may not specifically state it in the shop’s name, but from the minute you contact them or the day you show up at the door, you notice the service managers and techs understand the keys to a good automotive repair shop/service is taking care of the person handing them over. Customer service reps are taught the positive effects of smiling while talking to your customer. Either the team at Arts knows this or someone else has benefitted from the smiles that greeted me at the door during my recent visits. Prompt, professional and not pricey. With a comfortable lounge that is as spacious as some larger dealerships and shuttle service, you aren’t trapped in a tiny garage in any sense. With the auto industry complaining of a back stock of cars, clearly we are holding on to them longer these days. For decades car makers have claimed with proper maintenance newer cars could last for a very long time, well over 200,000 miles. It can, if you trust your vehicle with the work from Art’s,

We asked for a second opinion from Art’s after receiving an astronomical quote from the dealership. Turns out the services recommended by the dealership weren’t even necessary, and the things that were, we saved quite a bit of money! We just found ourselves a new mechanic in Art’s! Finding a mechanic that works on European cars isn’t easy - we’re really glad we found this place. The service reps were pleasant to talk to, too. We’ll absolutely be coming back, thank you!!

I had a phenomenal experience with arts. The staff was extremely friendly had a quick turn around time and did a thorough inspection of my vehicle that made me feel confident in their work. Will be taking my car here for repairs and regular maintenance from here on out.

After reading reviews, I decided to try Art's Automotive because of its convenient location to me. When I received their online quote for a part that was needed it was unbelievably high, so I checked both the manufactures and after-market options. They did lower it some but not comparable to other providers. Also, they had a special going for synthetic blend oil as well as full synthetic. I asked for the blend since that is what I use in this particular vehicle. When I got the invoice, I was charged for the full synthetic oil. After questioning it, the corrected the invoice. I appreciate the friendly interaction with David at the counter, but my confidence level is not high given this.

Came in for an oil change. My vehicle was ready faster than I expected. The service writer was very thorough and provided details on issues that needed to be addressed with the vehicle. They also provided me a portal to see pictures of things that needed to be addressed. Art’s always take good care of me and I have recommended friends to them.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I can’t say enough good things about Carlos Hernandez! Every time we bring our vehicle in, he’s incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive. He takes the time to explain what’s going on and makes sure we feel comfortable with the service. It’s clear he truly cares about his customers and their cars. Having someone you can trust at the shop makes all the difference, and Carlos is definitely that person. Highly recommend asking for him!

Their AWESOME!! Came in for an oil change that was the cheapest price around town, they inspected my whole car from the inside to the outside to under the hood all for free, told me what needed to be replaced and needs work and what was already good, they GAVE ME A RIDE HOME FOR FREE AND BACK while I was waiting on my car because there was plenty of cars ahead of me. I’m not going anywhere else besides here from now on for any type of work on my cars. These guys were amazing, professional, and very helpful
