Show up at the store a half hour after they open and the two employees are sitting outside because the manager hasn’t showed up to open the store absolutely horrible customer service they’ve got the wrong person running this store
Prices are way too high for identical products elsewhere. Double and triple the value just by looking around at Walmart or even Advance Auto. But there was a young man who was helpful and polite. He saw me waiting and offered assistance even though two other associates were ignoring me.
This place never opens up on time here it is 8:45 am and they not open cars pulling up waiting and pulling off to advance cross the street shut it down you not servicing the public we on they time
I had a great experience at this AutoZone. Taequan was professional, super friendly, and helped me out quickly. The whole process took almost no time. Excellent customer service
I came in for new brake rotors. I was questioned WHY I needed new rotors. The ones on my SUV were under warranty. I thought my pads were done but my mechanic said no, the rotors are damaged. The manager told me that, that was highly unlikely!!! Oh excuse her ma'am. Didn't know you checked my rotors and brakes as well....When I came back to get my refund, she shook her head at me... Like I'm wrong for getting what's owed to me. These dollars aren't donated. I work for mine just like you ma'am!!!
Rating 0/5. Store #972. Before I arrived I called the store and asked if they offered car battery charging and the guy said yes. When I was assisted by Patricia she wasn’t the best to interact with. She was very dry and every time she asked me a question and I gave her an answer she looked at me as if there was a problem helping. She then told me by battery couldn’t be charged here because of the type of vehicle I have. I asked her why not know for sure before telling someone that they can. Her response “ I don’t know” Once I was unsuccessful with any assistance I left just to not make it home and my car battery died on me. So I traveled for no reason and since my car battery died I was stuck on the side of the road. Thank you Auto Zone
Excellent customer service. The manager was extremely helpful and even gave me advice on a repair. Update: Shoutout to Kenny! I was having some issues with an online order but he quickly took care of it. Awesome guy!
Manager John White was a big help yesterday helping me an my buddies find exactly what we needed , and went out his way to help us with last minute items before closing excellent customer services this man needs a raise !
The saying "one bad apple spoils a bunch" is the reason for my two star review. I had someone call the store for me to price parts for my car. I was told by my friend to go to this location and ask for Frank and he will assist me. When I get there I asked for Frank and he was rude asking the associate who went to get him for me what do I want with a not so pleasant look on his face. I then told him he does not have to help me and asked the young man Zay to assist me. Zay was very pleasant, kind and helpful. He has amazing customer service and even carried my parts to my car for me. I can tell Zay is much younger than Frank but Frank can definitely learn a lot from Zay,. Kindness and customer service for starters. Zay gets a five star review!!!!! Not so much for Frank who never even apologized.

Horrible customer service. These people act as if they’re not getting paid to be there. Called this morning to see if I could order a part for my car and just pick it up later. I had the part number ready and everything and the employee told me that if I was able to find it online than I should be able to order it as well. The entire time I talked to her she was dismissive and you could clearly tell she did not want to be there. Every single time it is a terrible experience. AutoZone needs to do better for its customers.
My car battery was so corroded that the terminal was completely stuck and battery was coming apart, both needed replacing. What’s usually a quick change turned out to be a major ordeal but Rachel and other workers took the extra time and effort, going above and beyond, to make sure the battery and terminal were replaced.
Not only were they very thorough in verifying the part we wanted to purchase was correct, when they did not have what they needed in stock they were kind enough to recommend an alternative local vendor where we might be able to save a bit and get the part we needed.
Paid over $250 for a battery with free installation only for the guy working to tell me oh we don't install that kind after I bought the battery and we went outside. If company policy keeps them from changing the battery then the computer should have noted before I paid for the battery that the tech can not install it. Therefore I'm not sure if the company is false advertising or just has lazy employees. This also forces a core charge on my purchase because if the battery had been installed as advertised there would not have been a core, the battery would already be in the stores possession. I simply installed the battery myself. I don't see why there was a problem with the company doing it as advertised.
I went into this Auto Zone at 7207’Brook Road, Richmond, VA 23227on 5/23/2023 to get a new battery for my car. I had been going to Auto Zone for over 20 years and never had a problem until now. I purchased a new battery and when the man came out there to install the battery he didn’t know how to install the battery in my Infiniti and I needed a mechanic to install it. We were going to take it home and have one of my friends to install it. They said I needed to leave a core charge. They wanted a cash payment instead of using the debit card I used to pay for the battery or I to had bring the battery back. I decided to to give back. My daughter took the battery back in. She came back and said they wanted a core charge anyway. I went off on those people they were committing fraud and theft. I did use profanity they weren’t going to get away with this. We went across the street to Advance Auto and we treated like royalty. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS LOCATION.
Juwane helped us figure out why the engine light came on during our trip from NY to SC. He's kind and professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for the peace of mind knowing we wouldn't end up on the side of the road on our way home! ❤️

Stopped by late on July 10th. Called before arriving because i didnt want to hold them up while closing. The customer service was great looked up the part (wipers) and showed me exactly what i wanted. In and out in 5 minutes and even spead up the process by helping install at 10pm at night! Thank you!
Went in tonight to get a battery. Spoke with a great lady who recognized me when I came in and quickly got my replacement battery. She was first-rate and I hope she and her manager sees this review. I wish every place had service like this.
Gavin is awesome!! He did an amazing job of replacing a battery that was incredibly corroded!! He was able to remove the corrosion and put in a new battery, during which we had a great conversation, and he showed his great knowledge of cars. Thank you, Gavin!! Because of you, I will definitely come back to this location in future!
Just absolutely, completely, dissapointed with this place.. The managers are BOLD FACED LIARS and don't mind hanging up on their customers while they are trying to explain something, they blame their customers for their mistakes. They're not setting very good examples for their employees as they smoke cigarettes hanging out of the front door. The employees say they are going to do one thing and say they will notify the managers of important information and never do, probably because their management has no respect for their customers either. Will be back to do any further business with them.. Worst AutoZone I have ever been to!!
Wow! Talk about having knowledgeable staff this store has it! And they are women to boot! The manager and the sales clerk ( both female) helped me with such professionalism I was blown away! They could have let me purchase something totally unecessary, but they checked out my car, gave me a suggestion and it worked. They truly are concerned about getting you what you need...not just making a sale. That's how you earn repeat business!
Helpful staff IF you ask for their help. I needed an air filter for my car and they looked it up and found it for me although they were out of the brand I prefer. Next time I'll order it on their website for in store pickup to ensure that they have what I want.
