4 floors of antiques and stuff. Comparable to a vendor mall. Lots and lots of really cool things. Definitely going back

This store is one of the only places in the area I have found that sells used/vintage books for reasonable prices that isn't a thrift store selling whatever is donated. The seller Other World Books really takes the time to find books from all genres and price points. I went yesterday with my husband and we both found some really great books. I got an original printing of A Storm of Swords by George R. R. Martin and my husband found two books from the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. With access to affordable books becoming more scarce places like this are really important. I've been three time in the last 3 months and I've bought at least 30 books. I cannot recommend them enough if you're trying to grow your home library without spending a small fortune. Book aside this store also has some really great stationary/ephemera as well. There are boxes and piles of postcards, old photos, maps, prints, etc scatter all over the store that are really fun to go through. I bought a vintage Waterman Laureat yesterday as well that I was able to take apart, clean, and get working last night and I'm very happy with it.

Great selection of antique goods. You can easily spend hours roaming around and leave with one or two cute finds.

All I can say is bring a spare pair of feet! That's a little joke but it is very spacious and you do have to walk up several flights of stairs. The people who work there are very friendly and even some of the vendors you bump into are nice to talk to. There's certainly something for everyone in there, although you might have to travel a bit and do some searching to find that one special item. A very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon.

Curated Elitism, With Junk at Luxury Prices This is a four-floor antique store that clearly wants to present itself as refined and exclusive. There are genuinely beautiful and interesting pieces here—but they’re mixed in with plenty of mediocre, even outright junky items that are priced just as aggressively. Almost nothing is affordable. Single-digit prices are basically nonexistent, and three-digit tags are the norm regardless of quality. That alone changes the experience: browsing stops being fun and starts feeling like a reminder of who this space is (and isn’t) meant for. I found myself skipping entire stalls—not because the items were fragile or precious, but because I couldn’t justify engaging with things that felt wildly overpriced for what they were. What makes it worse is the lack of value differentiation. When both rare, well-preserved pieces and dusty, forgettable objects are priced as if they’re museum-grade, it’s hard not to feel that the store is testing how much money customers are willing to part with rather than offering a genuine antique-hunting experience. If you’re a high-end collector with a large budget and patience for inflated pricing, you may enjoy it. If you’re someone who loves the joy of discovery—finding charm, history, or a small treasure without spending a fortune—this place feels more alienating than inspiring. Impressive to look at. Exhausting to browse. Surprisingly joyless.

I came to this place like 4 times while I was visiting and bought something every time. Beautiful jewelry. Excellent customer service. They were very patient with me while I tried to find what worked for me and was within my budget.

This is a big store and you need time to go through all 3 floors. You can find a lot of different things here.

Very cool place with floors of fun adventures to explore. The top floor has an incredible book selection. Wish we had started from the top and made our way down.

Went for the first time today after hearing countless times about how cool this place is from friends. It lived up to the hype! Highly recommend if you’re in the market for something special.

Brandy and Sophia were absolutely amazing. They were so helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. I found three pieces that I’ve been searching for, for years! Everything was very reasonably priced by their individual vendors and seemed fair across the board. Great collection of item. My mom and I are going to put this place on our monthly visit list. So beautiful.

?️ Hidden Gem Alert: The Antique Wonderland You Have to Visit If you’re a lover of history, treasure hunting, or just the thrill of finding something unique, let me put you onto one of the most magical places I’ve stepped into in a long time. I stumbled into what I can only describe as an antique lover’s dream—and walked out completely enchanted. This place isn’t just an antique shop… it’s an experience. Imagine this: four full floors of history, nostalgia, charm, and quirky discoveries around every corner. Each level feels like entering a new world. Whether you’re into vintage signs, timeless furniture, retro kitchenware, delicate china, rare books, or just fun oddities that make you go, “Whoa, what is that?”—you’ll find something that grabs your attention. No exaggeration, I could’ve spent an entire afternoon there and still not seen everything. It’s the kind of place where time disappears because every nook is full of surprises. And the building itself? Stunning. Historic architecture, beautiful light, and the kind of creaky wood floors that add to the charm—not subtract from it. One major plus: free parking. In this day and age, that’s practically a treasure on its own. Now, let’s talk prices. Some items are definitely on the higher end—but in all honesty, you’re paying for the curated selection and the sheer quality of what’s on display. This isn’t a garage sale. These are pieces with stories, craftsmanship, and personality. Even if you’re just browsing, it’s worth the visit. You’ll leave inspired. Whether you’re a serious collector, casual browser, interior design junkie, or just love a good weekend adventure, this antique shop is a must-visit. Take your time, get lost in the stories, and treat it like a mini time-travel session. ⸻ ✨ 4 floors of vintage heaven ?️ Free parking—yes, really ?️ Gorgeous, character-filled building ? Prices reflect quality, so bring your ‘treat yourself’ mindset ⏳ Warning: You will lose track of time (in the best way) #AntiqueAdventure #HiddenGems #VintageVibes #CollectorsParadise #SmallBusinessLove #AntiqueShopping #TreasureHunt #WeekendWander

Very nice and clean antiques place, so many beautiful things to see. I didn’t find much for myself this time, but it’s a nice shop that I would visit again when in the area. Prices seem mostly reasonable for what you’re getting, I did find a few things that I felt were a tad overpriced, but still within the realm of reasonable. I definitely recommend giving this place a chance, the employees were kind and helpful as well. I tried to get a few pictures, when I’m looking for secondhand places, it helps to get an idea of what to expect when there are photos.

The first time I went to the store, I saw some amazing things, I didn’t see anything I particularly wanted though so I left and yesterday I returned and found out there was THREE OTHER FLOORS. I was awestruck. Such beautiful items. I left with a wildflower resin necklace/brooch and a rustic pear painting. This place is truly a diamond in the rough

This place has a variety of collections - you can simply find surprises any corners ;) The cashier was very kind. She shared with me information about vintage fest and special events for antiques. She also patiently helped me with figuring out the right price of a vintage bag that was tagged wrongly. I really enjoy my time hanging around in this place!

Update again- my wife and I searched high and low for a chandelier for our entrance. Online searches were frustrating, online companies were uncooperative, but Syracuse Antiques Exchange came through again, as always!! So grateful they have a fabulous selection of vintage chandeliers. Updated - We're now in a newer old home and was need of chandeliers, and this was the first place to visit. Great selection, great quality, and again outstanding customer service. Posting one of the chandeliers we purchased for the second floor bath- another outstanding purchase! Consistently outstanding! We've been buyers from SAE for decades, and a recent visit confirmed the same great service, support, and dedication. We were in search for a vintage chandelier for our dining room and their selection was far superior to any local "big box" chains, and visually appealing. Easier than eBay, and convenient with 4 floors of selection - Great job SAE as always!!

We always have a great time visiting the SAE. It's always a adventure to find something new. We found the perfect Teapot for our stove... Love the treasures you can find at SAE.

If you like antiques you need to check out the exchange! It has multiple floors of endless furniture, trinkets, collectibles, vintage, and more! I always find something when I return for a visit! The amount of items this place holds is incredible, has reasonable prices, and always fun to explore every corner of this building! The works are always friendly and the atmosphere is great overall. If you are a collector or just want to look for fun I am positive you will come out with something from the exchange!

The largest antique shop I ever been to!!! An idea came to my mind while I was in this store: I will start collecting things from this time period and when I am in my 90's, I will see them to antique shops!!!! (I hope to live 105) They serve free coffee because, I think, back in the days, hospitality was part of life, just like those antiques things were ?this store gives you a full experience ?

There's a lot of amazing finds spread out over this four-floor shop! It's about the thrill of the hunt for me, but I did find a really nice After Five purse from the 1950s on sale. All of the staff I interacted with were very welcoming. Keep in mind vendors determine their own prices, so like any other market, some things are marked up higher than others - this isn't single store pricing. I could have easily spent a couple of hours here. My only feedback, which again is more of a vendor comment than a shop comment, is that some of the clothing vendors here need to take more pride in what they sell. As a picker and seller, I'd be totally embarrassed if a customer opened up a coat or sweater and there were moths crawling around. It also puts other vendors' product at risk for being damaged. You absolutely have to clean and examine your pieces before you resell. This is not a problem unique to any one shop though, and I really did enjoy my time here.
