Biggest scammers I've met in syracuse. First off they have a scale but guess the weights of things. Second off they put everything as tin..steal ECT. And pay 3x LESS than metalico for tin. Ps metalico counts short steel, counts, different grades of metal. This place it's either 200% copper or aluminum anything else is tin. 55gt is roughly like 3 cents a pound. Imagine lugging 600 lbs there just to make 17$ or something. Last but not least, I stepped on the scale 2 times on the same day. First time it read 151, second time it read 145. For a huge scale like this to be off over 2 lbs off means unless brought low weight high grade, you wouldn't know your being scammed unless someone percuses like me comes around.
2lbs of copper is more than 5$. They got it set to unless u got 10 lbs or more, everything is 1lb. Not bc the scale read that, but because they know better than a scale
Metalico pays 155gt for tin, and 200 gt for short steal. Highly suggest go their for 3x more. Its only 2 miles down the road too. My Christmas was ruined bc i was stolen from instead of going to the trusted guys. This is another evil empire, go to metalico
New manager running the place, very professional and appreciative to customers, keeps the yard free of nails and screws like never before, I hope he lasts.
