Lashay was awesome. My car battery had died and it was somewhat of emergency. I called the location here in Fairmount and he advised me on the right battery. He even installed it for me on the spot in less than 10 minutes He cleared the code and we are good to go. Highly recommend this location. Make sure you ask for Shay!
Super helpful and knowledgeable staff. I came in holding a dead headlamp, they helped me find the correct replacement. They also reminded me about the importance of wearing gloves when touching the bulbs, so as to not get oils from my hands on the bulbs which would damage it.
Josh has helped me many times. He’s been great helping me understand what I need and going the extra mile to be sure everything went smooth with the items I purchased.
AAP on the commercial side is pretty great. I cave to this store to get a party that my regular store didn't have. Counter person was very helpful and genuine. Much appreciated.

I bought some $30 ,each, windshield wipers a few months ago. They were not properly on and loose. David informed me that I was sold the wrong wipers and replaced them with new ones. These have a year warranty. David was very helpful and answered questions for me on some other products. Thanks for the help.
Friendly and knowledgeable staff, store is clean and well maintained. Even with the staff busy putting away new or restock items they always take the time to help answer questions or find the right item!
I went here to purchase something for my vehicle. I walked in and asked for assistance and was given an attitude when asking. These 2 men employed there we’re laughing obnoxiously loud. One of them was stumbling around and his breath reeked of alcohol. I went to cash out and the person cashing me out with dark long hair had also been slurring speech and his breath reeked of alcohol as well. This experience was very unpleasant and It’s very disappointing to know that these young employees were under the influence while working with customers.
If I could give 0 Star I would. Im a commercial account. I called this advanced auto after a sales tax populated on my invoice after inputing my purchase through my online account. So I called to Address that and let them know im coming to pick up my Purchases. Some young kid answered the phone and asked how e could help, when I started to speak he arrogantly raised is voice and said "whoa whoa whoa im just a driver!!" it was awful because im just responding to his how can I help you. None the less I went there to find my self getting kicked out by someone that was over the top sensitive and didn't want to hear about my complaint on the young guy that answered the phone. I get out to my car and find this young man approaching my car telling me to get out fight him and that I was all talk. I was unbelievably flabbergasted
They are are always helpful when I have questions about parts for my vehicle. Great place to check what codes are turning your check engine light on, a service they offer for free.
HORRIBLE, SOLD ME AN ALMOST EMPTY BOTTLE OF OIL, AMD THEN REFUSED TO EXCHANGE IT. CORPORATE NEVER CALLED ME BACK ON THE ISSUE EITHER. never using this company again., Clearly you have a bunch of complaints, just of the ppl who bothered doing a review. Your response was contact customer service, did you not read my original review? Did everything I could! Stop making garbage excuses to everyone who complains! Make it right it's not hard! Its one bottle of oil, from months ago... Fix it
I was told they had the radiator I needed in stock I drove across town to pick it up it was not in stock they read the screen wrong very frustrating I ended up finding it at AutoZone which did a great job selling it to me too bad Advance AutoZone wins the day
I drove a long way to pick up my part while it was promptly brought out I was kinda taken back when they asked to see my license ok but I did not feel comfortable to show them because I would have had to walk close to them and neither one of the two employees were wearing masks while I understand how hard it is to wear it all day because I work in retail too they should have put them on as soon as they saw us comeing
The lady here was less than helpful and rude. I usually go to other advance autos with no issues. My first choice auto store. Being upset I googled the part because I thought price was insane. Sure enough every competitor had it about $20 cheaper! Amazon had it for 6 dollars!!!! I paid $30!!! If you dont believe me look up dorman 85855. I will never go to that store for anything and definitely will look around first. Lost faith in all advance autos over one transaction.
Woke up on a Monday morning with a dead battery, which is no way to start the week. Was able to get a jump after ordering the battery online (gotta get those promo codes) and they had my battery ready and installed it in less than five minutes. Great service, which helped turn my day around!
They are so nice here! I am not very good with cars and no matter what I need they tried to help me. And I love how they will come out and put my windshield wipers on for me! It makes my life so much easier.
Very helpful. Went there to buy a new battery. Prior to my purchase, Brad (an employee) tested my battery and alternator. Long story short, the test was free and didn't try to sell me a battery. Will be going here for all auto purchase.
I've never had bad service they always offer to assist you with the placement or minor fix with your car, Weather it by windshield wipers car fluid or a lightbulb they're always willing to help and they're also not out just for your money they're out to give you the best service and product for your budget and car
Had a problem with my oil. The service was very good. Temperature was 12 & they can't touch your car so the young man named Matt came outside and talked me through checking oil don't be afraid to ask for help
It was the worst experience ever. Felt sorry for the girl helping me. But i was ripped off. And her manager a huge joke. Told me because the parts were bought online they couldn't refund my money the correct amount. FRAUD... Not ordering online or from this company ever.
It's a typical auto parts store, however the service could be better. Often times waiting in line while several employees are gabbing in the back and only one person works the registers.
Had my relay I needed to keep my 85 corvette from over heating. I wasn't far away when the old one crapped out, good thing for me because this store was the only one who had it in stock around, and kept me out of a jam!
I've yet to have a positive experience in this store. Customer service is tough to locate, even if you want to purchase something. Prices are absurd -- even if I really need something, like a head light, I am always convinced by the high prices that maybe it can wait. The stock is always scant and limited. Forget ordering anything -- remember, customer service is absent.
