Kayla did an amazing job finding me the right battery on the coldest day of the year. She searched and found it out back and out in a massive amount of effort. Thank you so much
They dont answer the call and when they do they put u on hold and then hang up it usually happens on the evening hours that should be looked in to cause they not doing their job right
Was told by email my order was ready for pickup. Pulled up to pick up my order well within business hours. Lights on, open sign on, doors are locked!! Typical dump in the middle of the Southside... Waited just in case someone was in the bathroom but nope. No respect for peoples time!! Might as well just close this embarrassment of an establishment down! 0 stars if I could... The next morning I Received a call from advanced at 8:33 am (rang once) and at 8:34 am my order was Cancelled. I do feel bad for any person who has to manage a store in such a terrible location but seems to me there are some real shady acts going on there. Be better!
Stopped in for assistance with changing the battery in my remote car starter. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Update: visited again for a replacement windshield wiper. Employee at the register pulled the replacement wiper from the shelf and installed without being asked. Very appreciative of their assistance! Wipers have gone up in price, $25 with tax.
Needed a wiper blade. Sign in window said free installation but the guy was rude and said he refused to do it since it was too cold out. So I went elsewhere. Will never do business there again. AutoZone did it in 2 minutes.
Went in with bad battery, Asked for a new battery, ran over n grabbed a couple of 1156 lcd's, returned to parts counter where new battery was waiting. Paid up. Grabbed my goods n out the door I went. Duh !! Friendly and we'll educated staff !!
This is the worst Advance Auto Parts I've set foot in. The employees are fine, they are nice and usually helpful and honest. The issues come from this store being understaffed. Every time I am there it takes way to long to get checked out and every time I call there is either no answer or I am put on hold for 10+ minutes. The owner of this establishment should be embarrassed. I have pretty much given up on this place and have now been going across the street to the AutoZone....it's much better there even though they seem just as busy.
Good place for parts..stick with moog and spicer for your front end gear and driveline parts..DO NOT BUY A GREASE GUN HERE...THEY'RE NOT GOOD...go to the Salina st, west genesee, cicero or teall Ave store...don't bother going to the Onondaga Blvd store.that one reminded me why I go to auto zone for parts and only go to advance auto as a last resort
I came in here because (I'm a slacker) and I had 3 different lights out on my Jeep, so I stopped in to buy them all so I can finally fix them. They lady behind the counter was AMAZING! I walked in and didn't even need to ask for help! She was right there asking what I needed so I told her. She went right over to the isle, found all the lights I needed and then while she was ringing them up, she wrote on the package which lights went where!!! I wish I got her name, but I didn't. Anyway, I highly recommend! (Oh, and all my lights work now! Yay!)
About two months ago I bought a package of signal bulbs and some liquid that goes on the end of the bulb before you put it back in. I was told by sales guy it help the bulbs last longer im not for sure what the liquid is called. At the time I only had one signal bulb out but I decided to change both since the package came with two bulbs.
Well two months went one signal bulb went out then the other one went out. I called the store and spoke with a sales person I explained what happened. He told me just bring the bulbs back with the recipe and he will replace them. I told him that I didn't have recipe but that I'm in the computer he said that's fine he will look it up when I get there.
When I got there it was the easiest exchanged the bulbs were replaced with no charge.
I would have giving it no stars but there's not an option for that anyways I ordered pre fab break lines and they got them wrong they never checked the box to double check the order
I bought a Jaguar XK8 battery online for local pickup in Syracuse. When I got there, the battery was not in stock.
Zak and the manager found a much more expensive battery and gave it to me for the same low price as the one I ordered so I would not have to make another trip in to the store (over a half hour from my location).
They went way above and beyond the "call of duty" and I will be back again next time I need automotive parts.
Not a good place to get Auto Parts they never have what you need the store is almost half empty and you have people hanging out doing nothing talking to regular customers who not buying anything
Extremely friendly staff with a firm grasp on all & every product they carry & even those they don't. I would highly recommend when you get a chance...to most def stop down and make Advance your go to for all of your automotive needs.
The staff member we spoke to, Bano, was very unhelpful. We asked for assistance in looking for an item we couldn't find and he just pointed towards an isle. Then while we were walking out of the store I noticed he was outside at an elderly ladies vehicle. While he was standing right next to her looking at her car he was smoking a cigarette and the smoke from his cigarette was blowing in the ladies face.... I feel his actions that I observed were very unprofessional!
This is my go-to auto parts store. All of the workers seem eager to help in whatever way they can. They have even installed small parts on my car and given advice on car care.
The staff are some of the nicest and best informed people I've had the pleasure of working with. I am on a first name basis with Joe (the GM) as well as others on site. They never have a problem suggesting ideas or fixes for my 79 rx-7 or my 83 Celica. Excellent place to shop, and I chose this store over every other in the area. I go here first.
New Store manager is trying to turn the place around. sometimes have problems not have some parts I may need. also make sure the part you get is the right one! prices are high on parts but are more than willing to price match "beat" other big name stores. Upset they stopped price matching online company's. customer service is good at this location can't say that about some of the other locations Fairmount!
The prices are decent. They are a bit unprofessional. They don't acknowledge that you are even standing there. They need to do better job hiring people/sales representatives to represent the company. These guys there aren't as knowledgeable as you would think. They don't seem to care. But... What can you expect from someone who may not be paid well. Cause I bet they would work harder for that money.
