The service here was very poor. I stood waiting to be helped while one of the employees was on his phone and didn’t acknowledge me at all. After a few minutes, he finally put his phone down and asked if I needed help, then placed the phone on the counter and continued playing online slot games.
When I told him what I needed, he said it would take a few minutes. I assumed he was looking for the item, but instead he continued playing on his phone and wasting my time. I left without being helped and will not be returning. This place seriously needs better management.
I needed a part for an older vehicle. I looked online at several vendors and couldn't find my part, so I decided to take the old part to NAPA and see what they could do. The counter person looked at his computer, then took out an old school paper catalog, and we found the part, and I had it the next day. Thank you, NAPA, for having the part to keep my truck running.
Just picked up brake pads from your store(Main Hub Midler Ave) and the cashier Amelia belittled me for grabbing a set of stop rite brake pads and said “hope your selling the car now…” doesn’t leave you feeling very safe/good about purchasing a set of pads now that she acted like they were the worst thing ever they were 35 bucks everyone’s money is tight right now and no one is proud to be buying the low grade parts but it’s better than ignoring the repair completely so to finally be able to get some extra money after long work weeks and feel good about getting the work done i now feel as though it’s pointless which begs the question why sell said brand/product if you feel that poorly of it as a representative at that time for said brand, very unprofessional like new wether they are cheap or not is better than worn out/borderline gone, it’s simple, if you don’t have anything nice to say don’t say it at all and when it’s a pre ordered pick up you can assume the customer saw your $75-$150+ options but isn’t in a position to take that route and give them they’re product with a smile and wish them smooth repairs but instead leave feeling poorly about the whole ordeal now.
Prices are high everywhere because of Bidenomics. You get what you vote for. Congrats on those who voted for 46.
NAPA is a great store with great employees at this location. Prices are fair. They even have original parts for the 455 Olds Cutlass Vista cruiser engine. And their warehouse is second to none. Chris, the boss here is a super guy who's always on top of shipments and knows what's going on in his warehouse. Place is very clean there with CNYCS keeping on top of things. Busy place, I bought my car battery here. Brakes and struts too, for my 20 year old Car. Drop by and say hello. The store is always clean and well stocked. 5 stars!
Nick is the employee who helped me out today and he is as helpful as he is friendly and charming. We need more customer services representatives like him. As long as he’s around, this Napa location will be my go-to for all my needs.

This location is on the front portion of the regional distribution warehouse. They will have everything you need in stock. They supply all other stores in cny. If you don't want to wait for parts it may be worth the trip.
Except for having to make a second trip, the staff helped with finding the exact bearings, races and seals that were needed for me to complete my trailer overhaul of the wheel bearings. They were extremely helpful and I will be back since they are known to have almost every part imaginable. Thanks guys.
One of the employees was making jokes about gender identities. More than one customer was in the store at the time. I put down my things and left. Very unprofessional to speak on things they would never understand.
One of our windshield wipers broke while on the highway . Fortunately, we arrived at our hotel safely, and they directed us to this store, less than a mile from the hotel. The store manager was very helpful, recommending a quality brand with a good price. He even installed them for us. Excellent customer service!
These guys are always helpful and knowledgeable. Good prices on parts for brakes, saving me money, instead of going to the dealer for service that I can do myself.
Best motor mounts in comparison to any of there competitors! Even better than the dealerships! There arent defective right out of the box like the bill wrapp dealerships are! And then bill Rapp restocks. The defective part!
Napa used to carry many hard to find parts... not often needed but when needled they used to be a life saver. NOW they don't carry much. An example is rubber grommets. It is hard to believe but Lowe's carries a much better selection than Napa!
2 trips to get a light bulb and they still couldn’t figure it out. Brand, voltage, wattage, and part number given to them. Phone is always ringing non stop while I’m in there and always people standing in line. They need more associates and or better training.
4 times I ordered parts and was very specific about my vehicle and 4 times they have given me the wrong parts which is unacceptable especially after they gave me brake hoses rated for 3000 pounds less than my truck required if I didn't catch it I could have been hurt or killed or even hurt or killed someone else I do not recommend anyone buying parts from these people for the sake of you and your families safety and well being, I've complained about it every time with no effort to fix this from happening to anyone else. I am completely outraged at the audacity of these so called "parts professionals" 0 stars from Me and all the auto shops in Syracuse beware of their negligence. Hey napa think about this what if I had my son in my truck with catastrophic brake hose failure after I told you I had a 10000 pound 3/4 ton suburban and you gave me Chevy 1/4 ton brake parts.....? Why don't you ponder that and tell me what you think!!
Great place. Very knowledgeable about auto parts. Sometimes I stand in line for a few minutes but that's to be expected when they are busy. All in all they are good people and most have great sense of humour.
Went to midler ave looking for a stemco hub seal. Ubiquitous part that's available at every heavy duty shop. Counter salesperson looks up part, then quotes me 49.00. this part is 12 .00 to 15.00 without an account at any dealership. Good luck trying to keep customers when your charging 4x the going rate. I even mentioned this to the sales person, didn't seem to care. Left without parts and went to Tracy road equipment and got my parts 4x cheaper.
Every time I go to Napa on Midler Ave I regret it. Sometimes they have what you need but every single time the counter staff is SUPER RUDE. They don't want to help, they get confrontational, and they are just horrible to deal with. Parts availability is so so, a lot of times they have to special order parts so you have to wait a day or two, which is not good but it is what it is. The people who work there are what really wrecks the place though. I don't think I've ever dealt with anyone who was even remotely pleasant to deal with.
Your policies suck. Another Napa store gave me a price on an item. I called there because that's where I usually get my stuff. They didn't have 2 of what I needed. So I asked if another store had them, they said yes. I said I'm in the city do you have one close to me. He said, Yes the one on North Midler. Ok, thanks. I went there and started shopping, oil, brake pads, and a few other parts. I went to the counter and ask for the struts that the other store said you had. The guy behind the counter said yes. I said great. So as I checked out I asked what the price was on the struts. He gave me a price that was about $8 more per strut. I said you wouldn't honor the price from the other store. He asked which store. I said Marcellus. He said oh that's an independent. I said really, you wouldn't match the price. He said no. So I walked out. You lost a sale about $200. I will never go to the North Midler store again. Staying with Marcellus.
Long wait! Saturday mid-day. May I suggest maybe more than 2 employees. I waited for over 30 minutes before I even got to speak to someone. There wasn't even a line!
