Quick service and nice employee

First, one star is way too many, and if i could give negative stars, I would. I just went here for the first time. I thought I would give my business to someone who worked hard and owned their own business....GINORMOUS MASTAKE!...I had to wait outside for 5 minutes for the man to open the door. Then he starts going through my bottles and cans ferociously. He throws the rejects right back at me and yells "Remember next time!" When I left I was 20 cents short for the soda that I did all this for in the first place. So on my way back down Butternut st. I found 5 more cans/bottles, and I returned to the bottle store. I waited outside again for 10 minutes this time. Finally, he came to the window, looked at my cans/bottles, and started screaming at me to go, and I mean screaming and yelling, and that my cans/bottles weren't worth anything. I said politely that they all read "redeem: NY." He just screamed at me "No, get away." So I left and will NEVER return. It saddens me that in 2024, people are still judging a book by it's cover. I'm sorry, but I didn't think I had to dress up to go to the bottle return store with a sign written in Crayola marker. I do have to wash my shirt now because the angry, judgemental, bigot who runs this hate driven establishment splashed Gatorade all over me when he rejected my plastic bottles. #ABSOLUTELYDISGUSTED

Best experience I've had at this location today. Inside bright and clean, counted very fast. My only regret was having a place to actually wash my hands I stead of just hand sanitizer, but at least that was in stock.

Very nice young man fast and efficient I like the fact that he owns the business ❤️❤️❤️❤️
