Everyone was SO nice and helpful. I was stuck in the Syracuse airport parking lot, an hour from home, with a completely dead battery (had been very very cold while parked for 2 weeks). Found these folks online and very grateful. Receptionist Ernestine was responsive and kindly said they would be willing to check out my very dead car once it was towed there (not a standard 12V battery- for Prius). Team got to it promptly. New battery acquired and installed in an hour! Local business with large shop and crew.
Do not bring your vehicle here! He constantly charge you for the same things over that he’s claimed he has fixed. He’s done work on my engine, only to have it still leaking oil. He’s done my brakes pads and rotors. Still making a squeaky noise! He’s definitely over charging and not fixing customers cars! He need to be investigated!

Angels in the right place at the right time. Broke down a 7 minute drive from their shop during the few hours of our long road trip home to Boston, MA. They took us in and took care of us. We cannot share our appreciation enough for Greg and the other heroes at Dewitt Auto. Price was fair and service was excellent. Even more, Our 2008 Suzuki SX4 crossover is still running great! The owner (Greg), is a great guy & does excellent work! He works hard to keep the cost down & get the work done fast. His front desk lady is so sweet too! It's down a road that seems like it's for factory trucks or employees of the buildings but you just keep going & you'll find him!

The engine of my honda element 2003 model car broke down and my vehicle was not working. The mechanic that caused the car to break down gave a very high price for the repair, another mechanic I found said he would fix it for about 2 months and did not fix it. Then i found Greg , he is very nice and kind! He replaced my car's engine for a reasonable price! I would definitely recommend him to you, as he was both concerned, repaired in a short time, gave reasonable prices and had my vehicle serviced. If you need a reliable and good mechanic, this is the right address.
Greg is the absolute best. I had a hole in my muffler and gave him a call and he had my car in and out in under an hour with my muffler patched up and sent me out the door! So thankful for good reasonable mechanics like Greg. I’ll be back for sure!
We're out of state driver's half way through a road trip to a wedding. Had an emergency on the highway and needed to get our frame repaired and two new tires. Greg got us in ASAP and had it ready to go in less than 24 hours. Picked us up from the hotel we stayed at once the car was ready. Fair prices as well.

Greg! He's the one to go to! Me and my boyfriend bought a car out there in Syracuse. Unfortunately, we were unable to drive the car back home because the whole rear wheel/suspension area was bent in on the driver's side. No auto shops in the area had availability nor wanted to help us. We found Greg and he did us a favor squeezing us in his busy schedule. Greg did his best to fix the issue. We got the car back in about a week or so and was able to drive the car back home safely! Thank you Greg!
My girlfriend and I got stuck in Syracuse on a Friday night after 6pm while moving across country with a poorly running vehicle. We stayed in a hotel and started calling shops the next morning. After taking it to one shop, who couldn’t diagnose the problem we thought we’d be stranded for the weekend. I called Greg at Dewitt Auto Clinic, explained our situation and he calmly said to bring it in, “we’ll figure it out.” When we arrived Greg said he had another car, same model, in the week before with the same issue. He had an idea of what the problem might be but said he’d bring it in immediately and get it diagnosed. Within an hour he had pinpointed the problem, gave us a very reasonable estimate, said he’d order the part and have us on our way in a couple hours. As promised, we were back on the road in two hours. Dewitt Auto Clinic is honest, extremely competent and Greg and the rest of the mechanics are just all around great guys. No need to bring your car anywhere else.
I needed help with my car, and stopped by Dewitt’s 5minutes before closing! The owner, Greg, was extremely friendly and helpful. He offered to repair the car tire for just $40, and worked on it for 30 minutes past closing time! What wonderful service! Couldn’t have been more satisfied and impressed with the level of professionalism and service. Thank you Greg!
I ordered tires for my car because I noticed a belt coming through my tire. He told me he didn't have them but he could get them off another car that he was scrapping said they were like new. Said he would have them Wed, come Friday no tires. Finally because I complained I had to sit at his garage for an hour on a Saturday to get the tires. Greg the owner tells you he can do the work but puts you off. I notice Saturday that he had nine cars in the garage being worked on and one lawn mower. Think he is just poor at time management and promises things he cant deliver.
The woman who answers the phone is twitt and very rude. I gave this guy several chances to get better but no. I would not go there is you need your car in timely manner

They gave me an appointment the very next day for getting my winter tires switched to my regular tires. It was friendly and reliable service, and at a very good price! Will definitely go there again.

I was hours away from home when my car suddenly needed a repair. I called the shop a little after 5PM thinking no one would answer (bc it was late), but they did. Greg assured me that I could bring my car the next morning, they’d fix it & I could wait with it. They took my car in shortly after I arrived & did a superb job on fixing it... Professional & friendly the entire way through, accommodating while I waited, very honest & forthcoming, and more than a 50% savings from what I was being charged elsewhere! Total life saver! Greg and his crew are absolute professionals. You can't find any other repair shops where the techs are actually being honest instead of trying to sell you something that doesn't even need fixing! I have been a loyal customer of greg's for nearly 12 years I was 1 of his first customers. I have never had anything but an honest and great expierence with him and the service he has provided my business and myself. I asked him about the negative review he just got and was informed and shown that the customer that gave the bad review does not exist in his computer system, Was informed it was more than likely a fake review by the office person he recently let go. I know personal speaking people don't like bad news and I have been told and heard him explaining to his customers and myself their cars were not worth repairing hence you gotta know when to stop the bleeding, As far as i'm concerned I will never go anywhere else
I been going to Greg for years now for all my car repairs. There is not one mechanic I know who does the quality work that Greg does on cars killing his competitors prices! I called Dewitt Auto Clinic on Friday and made an appointment first thing Monday morning. I got a call back from the receptionist that same day with an estimate. Greg got my brakes fixed that same day and I was able to pick up my car right after work. Greg replaced the calipers, rotors, pads, bled the lines, the whole 9 yards all in one day. Everything replaced was brand new and the brakes work amazing now. Like always Greg is very fair, honest, professional, and one of the best mechanics I have ever been to. If anyone needs car work done the right way, quickly, and for a more then reasonable price I always send them to see Greg. My whole family has been going to Greg for car repairs for years now! Greg is very knowledgeable about cars also. He always finds the problems people are having with their cars almost instantly and never wastes time fixing it for them. I've had auto repairs done at four different shops and Greg is the best. I paid three other mechanics to fix the same check engine light problem that Greg fixed for less than half of what each of the others charged me. He does good work at a reasonable price! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😌☺😚
