I bought this battery last December. It sat in my garage most of the year since I only drive the vehicle in the summer. I always disconnect the battery during storage to prevent drain, so in reality this battery only saw about 3–4 months of actual use.
Recently, the vehicle wouldn’t start, so I took the battery to AutoZone to have it recharged. They tested it and told me it had a bad cell. Since the battery clearly states it has an 18-month free replacement, they said I was still well within the grace period.
When I brought it to Interstate, the manager—an older gentleman with a white beard who refused to give me his name—tested it and insisted nothing was wrong. He said AutoZone “doesn’t know what they’re talking about,” and then told me he could charge the battery for $5.
The $5 isn’t the issue. It’s the principle. If you stand behind your product and advertise an 18-month free replacement, that should be honored without hassle. As a business owner myself, I understand that sometimes things go wrong, but you treat customers with respect and professionalism. Unfortunately, that was not the case here.
Both the manager and the younger employee refused to give their names and told me there was no one above them I could speak to. When I walked in, I even heard them in the back sounding irritated and arguing about who should deal with a customer or answer the phone. Maybe they were having a bad day, but I’ve bought all of my batteries from this store over the years, and this experience has completely changed how I view this location.
This is not how you do business.
Both Mike and Jeffrey were patient, helpful and very professional. Even though I couldn't buy a battery from them (the battery I was looking for could only be gotten from the dealer), they went above and beyond helpful and gave me lots of information so I can get the right one from the dealer
A little rude. Went in for a battery replacement for my car (was still under warranty and I didn’t buy it from them - secondhand battery). They honored the warranty as they said over the phone, as long as it’s an Interstate. When I brought it in, they doubted me when I said the battery was bad. Asked me questions about the car, anything to stall just testing it for me. He went in the back to probably test it(I wouldn’t know, he didn’t want to speak to me apparently), came out put a battery by the door and said “you’re all set” and walked away. No explanation. I had to ask, because again the guy didn’t want to talk to his customer apparently. I was told I had a bad cell and it was a new battery. Guess I was right. No receipt. Almost like I inconvenienced them but I was right and the guy couldn’t swallow his pride. No they won’t install the car battery for you either. Asked about a new terminal, he said $2, I only had card, which they didn’t want to run so he just gave it to me. That was cool. But lighten up guys. Now I don’t want to buy anything there, had another battery under warranty in another car and chose to pay battery world even tho under warranty again, because of the experience this time.

Seriously some of the nicest ppl. Very affordable pricing. They will help u and no bs, they told me i was givin the wrong battery from advanced auto. They just wanted to sell the battery but these guys told me everything i needed to know not just hear. And actually the attitude on these guys made it quick easy and had a few jokes. One of the only places to purchase rebuilt batteries for your car. I saved over $100 by doing this instead of purchasing new from dealer. Not to mention more environmentally sound.

I called this am to have a key Fob battery replaced, I spoke to a nice gentleman named Noah . Says no problem and quotes me seven dollars, so I used my break from work to drive home get the key Fob and bring it to him. I arrive there and he says, ohh I spoke to the tech and we can’t do it. Thank you for wasting my break time and gas for nothing.

Used to be the best place in the Syracuse area for cell phone and tablet repair. Unfortunately, their cell phone tech doesn't work there anymore, and they aren't interested in replacing him, so they don't do this anymore. I still go there to buy cell phone batteries. Their batteries are better than anything you can buy online for excellent prices.
Best of the best! Went in today for a battery installation for our 1995 Tahoe and could not have been happier with the process. Despite the fact that there was a full waiting area, the truck was done in about 15 minutes. Very competent employees, great prices, fast service. Couldn't ask for more.
When my battery died they got me right in within 15 minutes I had a new battery installed. Women behind the desk was wonderful to chat with and nicely answered my million questions with a smile the whole time. They even replaced my boyfriends battery in his key fab. I recommend them 100%!
Phone Screen Repair - Done Right!
This is a great place to go if you need your cellphone screen or battery replaced. They have the right training and equipment. Best of all, they use genuine OEM parts. They replaced the screen, back cover, and camera window on my Samsung S7. They only needed my phone for about an hour. Looks and works like new!

I just got a prorated warranty replacement for my car battery because one of the cells failed after 3.5 years. The replacement was installed with enthusiasm and precision. Oliver went above and beyond installing my battery with preventive maintenance in mind. So glad I came back and will again in the future.
Didn't even know they were there until I heard a commercial ad on 97.7 ESPN radio this past week. Then my car battery died and I went looking by word of mouth and I kept hearing about Interstate battery. Once in the store I was ready to buy a real affordable car Battery with a 5 year warranty for $100. Much to my dismay I learned my battery was fine and just needed a re charge and that they'd do it for FREEEEE. I then saw the same Key fab battery I was looking for in a mall for $20 was actually $5 bucks and Nicole replaced the battery herself! I am extremely happy with my experience and will only go here now.
