Was referred by a family member to bring my car here to get some work done. These guys are very trustworthy, fairly priced, and work quickly. Two separate visits, brakes, rotors and tires the first. Then the second I had an ABS light on, needed a new wheel bearing. 100% Would come back
I genuinely wish I could leave a zero-star review, because that’s exactly what this place deserves—zero stars. Lakeland Auto Repair is an absolute joke.
I typically take my vehicles to reputable shops, but decided to try this local spot just two minutes from my house. Big mistake. I brought one vehicle in for an alignment and scheduled another alignment for a second vehicle right after.
They called me and said the first vehicle was missing a pin in the back and they couldn’t do the alignment. Fine—I told them I’d get it fixed and bring it back. At any other decent shop, they’d let you do that without charging you $62.10 just to tell you something’s missing. But not here—they demanded $62.10 just for looking at the vehicle. Ridiculous.
I then said, “Okay, let me bring my other truck down now for the alignment instead,” and they told me no—I still owed them $62.10 before they’d touch anything else. Again, I’ve never seen anything like this.
They claimed I “took up their bay for half an hour,” yet when I was there, there wasn’t a single car being worked on. The place was dead. So let’s be honest—they weren’t turning away any other work because of my vehicle.
I run a business and have three vehicles that could’ve used regular service and repair. Instead, Lakeland lost a potential long-term customer after just one visit.
My first time there will definitely be my last. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere more honest and professional. Avoid this shady repair shop at all costs.
I blew a tire going down 690 they were able to fit me in and I'm back on the road. so so very impressed. If I lived closer I would come back for anything I needed. And the prices were spot on too.
I've been coming here with different vehicles for a while now, on the recommendation from a neighbor. It's everything that I've been told. Great people, honest workmanship, and fair pricing. They definitely go the extra mile to do it right. Very happy that I stopped in, and I'll continue to have them work on my vehicles.

Lakeland has been taking care of all my vehicles for over 7 years. They are extremely knowledgeable and experienced mechanics. Fast service, and very honest and fair. I have asked them to replace a hub, they tested it, and found that it just needed a little maintenance and not replacement even though they could have made a lot more money and saved themselves some time by just replacing it. They have always looked out for my best interest and never try to make extra money off of me.
Caring, personable family garage-personable, honest…the best experience you’ll ever have at a garage. They fit me in prior to Holiday traveling and were excellent.
They found the issue with the engine light, ordered the part and repaired it. I didn't have to come back another day. I am sure their cost was less than going to a dealership that wanted me to make two appointments and have to wait 2 weeks or more to repair it.
A small family shop that was very personable and friendly. I needed an inspection in a limited time frame and they were kind enough to work me in. They also have experience with rotary engines, which is a huge bonus in my book!
I took my car in for a vehicle inspection, tire rotation, and oil change. At 9AM they call me back and say the front end need an alignment, so I say go ahead I knew it needed it anyway.
I go to pick up my car at 4:30 and it won't start, they left the headlights on all day and killed my battery. They refused to take responsibility and tried to blame it on having to keep the brakes pressed down during the alignment, then when I questioned them on it they tried to tell me they just pulled my car up and the lights couldn't have been on for more than 10 minutes. A total lie, the battery was DEAD with the headlight knob CLEARLY left in the on position and the warning alarm blaring.
So they jump started my car and told me to drive around to charge the battery up. They made no attempt to fully charge my battery and never even apologized. After two days of trying to charge my battery it turns out they damaged a cell in my battery by leaving the lights on and it would no longer hold more than 10 volts. Ended up costing me another $330 for a new battery and installation at a different shop.
This place came highly recommended from a friend, I wouldn't recommend them to my worst friend. I could have lived with them admitting they made a mistake and apologizing, but denying and lying about it is a pretty terrible business practice.
Had the service light come on my 2019 jeep compass. They got me in next day and took the time to make sure all issues were fixed up for an affordable price. Family owned and operated. Honest and wholesome people that deserve your business.
People there were friendly. They got me in right away even though I didn't have an appointment. Prices were reasonable. Good experience all around. Definitely will go back if I have a problem
