My experience with AB Auto was so awesome from The moment I stepped in the shop, I was welcomed with a smile. I had to get my brakes repaired and the price was amazing. All the other spots I called were charging me way more than what I paid. I recommend them highly. This will be my new spot from now on. They also speak both English and Spanish.

I want to share my excellent experience with AB Auto. After a long search for winter tires for my car, I finally found the best prices in the Syracuse area at AB Auto. Not only are their prices super competitive and fair, but their customer service is top-notch. They assisted me with a lot of patience and professionalism, and I left completely satisfied. I definitely recommend them to anyone looking for quality without overpaying!

Alain is my go-to for any and all car problems! He's thorough and does great work, but he also takes the time to explain the problems and the recommended repairs. When the car gets a diagnostic, he takes videos to show exactly the issue and explain how he'll fix it. He's also very understanding about limited budgets and will help prioritize work based on the most urgent needs as well as opting for repairs that require more labor but fewer parts in order to save me money. Can't recommend him highly enough!

They did great work for my daughter’s car which needed a lot of work done. Communicated well with me over the phone with what needed to be done and how much it will cost. My daughter said her car runs really good now with no bothersome noise like it had before. Trustworthy and honest and I highly recommend them.

The crew was really nice we had a problem with our door and they were able to squeeze us in, and was done in about 15 minutes, which was great. Truly an amazing shop.

AB Auto is hands down the best mechanic in Syracuse! He really takes the time to look over your car and truly knows how to diagnose what’s going on. Instead of just fixing one thing and sending you on your way, he actually calls you, sits down, and explains everything you need to know in detail. The customer service is excellent — always responsive, honest, and professional. On top of that, his prices are very fair and affordable. It’s hard to find a mechanic you can really trust, but AB Auto is definitely one of them. Highly recommend!

I’ve been taking my car to Allain ever since a friend told me about him—probably six years ago or so—and he’s never let me down. Just yesterday he squeezed me in at the last minute to fix my Chevy’s suspension, so I didn’t have to scrap my camping trip this weekend. Reliable, skilled, fair—can’t recommend him enough.

I took my vehicle to the dealership due to an electrical issue, and they were charging between $500 and $700 just for the diagnosis—plus any additional repairs, welding, or services required. A friend recommended AB Auto Service, and that was the best recommendation I could have received. They only charged me $245 for the diagnosis and $198.50 for the repair. I saved a significant amount of money compared to what the dealership was asking, which included diagnostics, repairs, labor, and parts. I could have easily spent a couple of thousand dollars there. However, at AB Auto Service, I was able to resolve my issue at a fair price and left extremely satisfied with their service. I’m very grateful and highly recommend them to anyone in need of reliable automotive repair.

If I could give 6/5 stars I would. This was the best car experience I’ve ever had. Alain was so amazing and so kind. I went in without an apt bc I didn’t know you needed one. But he helped anyways. And he was able to fix my car that day! The best part was the honesty and transparency. He would show you what the parts looked it before and after so you know what was wrong. Very professional place. Highly recommend!! And Will return if needed!!

Best place around here, the owner is always trying to help lower the price of repair for customers and figure out the most cost-effective solution. Very honest people with integrity. Instead of trying to rip people off, they think for the customer and consider about the customer’s interest. Strongly recommended!

best mechanic I’ve come by so far. He’s very reliable, affordable, had great customer service & quick! I’ve been bring my cars to him for 4+ years and I’ve never had to go back for any issues he fixed as far as body work to any mechanical issue. He’s the best in town!

Great service! Brought my RAV4 for multiple engine lights and codes and Alain and his team successfully found the root cause and replaced the parts necessary to address the codes. The engine had nothing short of a “heart surgery”, and the team at AB auto delivered! Extremely satisfied with their hard work and dedication for customer satisfaction. Would definitely recommend.

Great customer service , good people never had to go back twice to fix something, been going to them for almost 2 years now , currently just got my brake pads done with them there was no issue getting me in for an appointment got me within a day, I highly recommend them.

Alain is very professional, kindhearted, and the Auto store is among the top ones that I’ve visited! As a new car owner and new driver, it is such a great experience having this small auto store nearby my home. Every time I felt worried about my car, I took it to Alain. He and his helpers took care of it. As I am now moving away from Syracuse, this is definitely one of the places that I will miss!

cannot say enough good things about alain and his crew! quick story time: i got to work and started my delivery route but as soon as i made my first stop, i was hit with a flat tire that would not take any air. i called the shop and asked if my tire size was in stock and within about an hour and a half they had invited me to the shop, went and picked up my tire, put it on, and charged me a fair price for installation and all. not to mention, they have multiple ways to pay and were extremely kind and professional the entire experience. thank you again guys, you are lifesavers!

Alain is so kind and professional! I brought my car to him in pretty rough shape. He did a thorough inspection and let me know which repairs were most important for safety reasons. He also explained what was going on with my car in a way that was easy to understand. His pricing was so good that I was able to get all the repair work done at once. Alain is a great business owner and mechanic. Brought my truck in for an exhaust repair. He texted me photos of the rusted out flange explaining what the different options were with estimated costs for each option. He communicated well, executed good quality work and I was surprised that his price was not higher. Very impressed, the only shop in Syracuse I will go to
