I love going to Lifecycle! I visit frequently because there's always something new I can use for a project around the house or with my organization.

There are always treasures to be found here. I love using items that were kept out of the landfill to give them new life by repurposing and reusing. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

You can find some great deals. Just know that it's pretty random, so go with an open mind and imagination.

Great NonProfit Home Improvement Organization that the public can purchase gently used residential and commercial equipment, furniture, etc. for a greatly reduced fraction of retail cost. Not to mention they are doing wonders across the nation to Help with sustainability!!

I’m sure as a buyer from their store I’m sure this is a great resource. However, as a business striving to keep things out of the waste stream our high hopes have been crushed. We have sent in web requests and left voicemails that never get returned making it impossible to support such a well intentioned venture. As a home remodeling business wanting to support this cause the only option you are left with is taking the extra time to carefully remove items, wrap them for transport in some cases, load them up, and drive across town during the middle of a business day due to their limited hours of operation in hopes that they will accept the items. If not, take them back to the job site and then toss them in a dumpster after all of that effort. This is very unfortunate and completely unsustainable.

They may not have exactly what I'm looking for everytime but they always have something I can use and staff is always super friendly and helpful. Great for DIY'ers on a tight budget

Although you need an appointment this is the Only Place where regular Environmentally Conscience Citizens can get rid of troublesome refuse. Helpful & Friendly Staff on point to help with those large loads. I Recommend This Establishment!

What a gem! Lifecycle is one of those places that every city needs and it hits my perfect trifecta of "recycling/waste elimination", "supporting the community" and "saving money". I've shopped here for years and have found lots of really useful things saving so much money on projects are my house and business. The building is pretty barebones (but also majorly cool if you love old buildings) but the service is fantastic. The people at LBC are always helpful and kind

The prices on the tile was inexpensive. The quality was excellent, as well as, the customer service. I certainly will check here for all my supplies going forward. Items are donations so merchandise differs. My first time shopping there so, I received a discount on top of the low prices. The attached photo was $5 per box of 38 pieces. The othrr tile was $1 per box. Thanks everyone!!!

Lifecycle Building Center is my favorite place to shop. I don't always find what I need the first time I look, but the treasures that I find (the ones I didn't even know I needed!) are always worth the visit. The staff are AMAZING!! If you are a fixer upper, you should go. If you are a diy-er, you should go. If you are a tradesperson, you should go. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Always an amazing place to find material for a construction, home repair or craft project! The LBC has literally saved me hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars the past several years. It’s a giant warehouse of materials they’re keeping from going to landfills, many times times that are otherwise new even. And prices are really obviously based on a desire to see them sell, not to just sit on the shelf like some of the Re-Store’s I’ve visited (though I do love Goodwill’s work, their re-stores just don’t seem much of a discount or even any discount sometimes). The staff are fantastically knowledgeable and always ready to help when asked. Can’t recommend it enough! I added some photos from our most recent project, building a 7’+ tall shelf for our office, using a piece of live edge wood from LBC. Fun Saturday morning project! Looks fantastic and cost us 1/10th of anything I could find like it online.

Today we went to Lifecycle to just look around. LBC was having a 50% off sale. They happened to have this awesome dryer ($700-1000 from Home Depot) for $100 after the sale, and the heating element in our dryer is going out so we picked it up! We were a little nervous because LBC has a policy of no returns or refunds, but we’ve run a couple loads and it works great! Super excited about this find.

I love this place so much-everything about it. Their staff- every single one of them- are absolutely beautiful. They are so helpful and sweet and that just elevates the experience even more. They have so much variety from building materials to decor- So many vintage pieces. Their prices are fair as well. Love this place so much

The staff members are knowledgeable and upbeat and offer great customer service. I get great ideas about future projects. I never leave empty-handed since the variety of recycled and new items is constantly changing.

I used to own a vintage store here in Atlanta and I’ve appeared on GAC Network - Endless Yard Sale Showdown. My point ? I know how to spot a bargain. This facility houses lighting, kitchen, architectural, flooring,, bathroom and more. I love this place.

This place is amazing and the folks there are very knowledgeable. We've found all sorts of interesting and useful things. Among other stuff, we've bought a ton of double-paned windows for diy greenhouse construction for an excellent price. Keep things out of the landfill and support this awesome place!

I make and sell unique and original items for a living and I was super excited to have discovered a place full of unique and original things that really got my creative juices flowing. The experience began as you approached the place with an outside display of the really cool stuff like large wrought iron fences, cool slate pieces, large stones and planters full of flowers and herbs as you entered. Every time I went I would leave with a truck full of one-of-a-kind materials that I could bragg about to my friends. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well. I even bought one of their T-shirts because it was my go-to place. Unfortunately as time went on each visit became less and less inspiring The staff seemed unhappy and over-worked when you could find them, and pretty much everything that was good was roped off (not for sale) and being held for some huge project underway. I would periodically come back thinking that at some point the projects would surely end but only to find more stuff roped off for more projects and pretty much nothing left for the customers. What used to be a treasure box for loyal customers was now just a storage place for the big fish. Now the experience as you approach the place is just a huge lot that is unkept and muddy all of the time even when it hasn’t rained and the area out front where the counter tops are kept looks like a biohazard with standing water. They don’t even change the dead plants in the planters anymore. This used to be a place I would have traveled a few hours to get to but as of now I wouldn’t drive 20 minutes. I guess that if you’re new to this place you wouldn’t know what you never had, but take it from me it used to be filled with treasure.

I feel like there needs to be more places like this but I was so glad to find this place. This week's is all about upcycling you and find all kinds of thing here including wood light fixtures bathtubs Windows doors cabinets, and all sorts of other stuff. The staff is down-to-earth and helpful. You also get a discount if you live in the zip codes in the vicinity which is cool.

Lifecycle Building Center is a gem in Atlanta. If you’re a fan of 1) finding good used stuff, or 2) supporting a circular economy. Everything here is salvaged/ recycled building material. As a consumer, if you know you’re looking for us and it’s fairly general, it’s a great spot. It’s also a great spot for general materials. It may seem a little intimidating, but just drive in, park, and wander. The staff are very nice

I have been a customer of Lifecycle for a couple of years now. It used to be a great place to go to find unique recycled materials for building projects. Often, a new fixture or appliance would show up and their prices were always pretty good. Not only that, but the staff was willing to cut you a deal if you bought a bunch of stuff. Something changed, however. Now their prices are sometimes higher than Home Depot. They advertise 50-80% off, but lately I have not found that to be true. And though it is still a bargain, the problem is that all of the best items get immediately put on hold for their favorite customers. What you end up with is a huge warehouse full of items you can't purchase because someone else might want them. And these aren't sold items, they are just "oh hold" in case one of their customers might like it. LBC has changed a lot and most of the people that I know who have shopped there are just as disheartened by their new business model as I am. Update: I have recently returned to LBC to find their raw supplies severely diminished. If you want someones old globe pendant lamp for $100 or a tacky glass and brass vanity light for $80, they ate right up your alley. Personally, I'm shocked by how little interesting stuff they have now and by their outrageous prices. Still more than half of the warehouse is roped off with lots of great items that they are holding so they aren't available for purchase. About a year ago, I told them how much I wanted this cypress kitchen cabinet set but couldn't afford both the base and the top cabinets. They refused several times to break up the set. A week later, I had the money to buy the entire thing and they sold half of it. They are totally shady and preferential anD not the kind of business they portray themselves as.

Love this place for their mission, and their products. Prices are Good compared to retail. Don't expect to find any lumber. They are always sold out. They have everything else tho. Plumbing appliances lighting full kitchens, electrical. flooring, doors, windows, furniture, HVAC, and always the unique items that come in that makes going there regularly like treasure hunting. They even have a couple pieces of aircraft. :-) The staff is Awesome. The first time you go you will need to clear at least an hour from your schedule. There is so much stuff and so much to see. Vintage hard to find items and late model stuff. Cant say enough good things about this place!

Find your appliances and building materials here! There's a lot of stuff to choose from and a lot of space so that it's not overcrowded with inventory that you can easily browse through everything. Some prices are marked more fairly than others. In the appliance section, they even have some professional equipment. Shop smart and recycle!

This is the spot if you are remodeling your home or if you just need an appliance. My dishwasher went out and I went to big orange to pick one up over $400.00 NUTS! I went to Lifecycle and the same exact dish washer, gently used $35 bucks, how can you go wrong? They literally have everything you need for your house. I purchased a mantle from here, online $1,200.00 at Lifecycle $80.00. If you are like me and like a great deal you will Love Lifecycle. This is a great business with great people and super good deals. Check it out for sure.

The Lifecycle Building Center is truly an amazing place for both the enormous capacity of salvaged, reclaimed building supplies (and a lot more) and the overall great concept. Definitely worth checking out!

Love this store! It is VERY organized for this type of salvage store. There is LOTS of inventory and walking through gives rise to a million project ideas. The staff is friendly, outgoing and helpful. Always a fun experiencce to visit here. Lots of interesting well priced house parts.

It's like a thrift shop but for building supplies. Vast space with countless items from various professional building projects. With a little creativity and know-how this is a DIY'rs dream. Also you can feel good about the fact that a portion of the purchases goes to charity. Recommend going mid week to avoid the weekend crowd (also because they are closed Mondays.)

I feel like I'm in a treasure hunt in this place. Items range from the random to the totally useful to the super cool but totally useless. This would be a great place for someone artsy who recycles things into nicer things. For the average home owner you may not find something but you'll have an adventure looking!
